The drama, unlike the other versions, is told through the eyes of the main character, Tomoko, and not, as in the original story, her male protagonist Tatsuhiko. The title met with much criticism due to its excessive sexual load, which resulted in the dismissal of employees at Tokai TV.
The story focuses on the Asakura marriage, who involve themselves in a series of romances and complicated extramarital relationships. The whole situation begins to affect their relatives and family, where many tragedies, dramas, abuse, breakdowns of relationships and tragic choices begin to occur. Can anyone find a little happiness in such complicated circumstances?

A bit similar love affair story with different story line in Hirugao both of the leads having an affair. In Kingyo Tsuma only the FL & FL husband plus other housewives who live in the same apartment complex having an affair. If you like love affairs genre this drama is a must watch. Iwata Takanori is adorable.
Both about infidelity and love between people who are married/engaged to another.
Both have POV from the ones who cheat and those loves aren't shown as "only bad", though both dramas also shows what damage can this cause, how painful is it for cheater spouses.
Both dramas are quite realistic/real life stories.
in both dramas main leads have really good chemistry and sexual relationships (sex isn't taboo in those dramas).

They're different (both the plots and the leads' relationship status) but, at the same time, I've found them similar (especially at SL's beginning; while watching I often thought about Hirugao).
Differences: the ending and the mood (they're both realistic but SL is lighter whereas Hirugao is more emotional, maybe because the latter is longer).

Narita Misao is a rookie employee at a company. She doesn’t like Ichikawa Kazuya, who works in the same department. He is brutally honest when he talks to other people. Nevertheless, an incident leads to Narita Misao developing feelings for him. Ichikawa Kazuya also becomes attracted to her. The couple soon enter into an intimate relationship, but Narita Misao learns afterwards that Ichikawa Kazuya is engaged to his girlfriend. Narita Misao is confused by the situation and wonders what he is thinking.
Compare to Soredemo Ai wo Chikaimasu ka this drama is very heavy with intriguing plot. Both FL & ML tried to protect their marriage by keeping a secret from their partners & they set a rules together to deleted message from each other & no calling if not urgent. Saito Takumi is soooo hot & good looking. If you like this genre I recommend this drama.
