Wow.... just wow.
I'll admit that I was on the Shin-Se-Gi-was-his-real-name train, but it's actually kind of refreshing to know that the Cha Do Hyun that we're familiar with actually has a name of his own: Joon Young. I am imagining now not rough and tough Shin Se Gi as a cute little seven year old (though I can see that his experiences as a child would definitely toughen his skin to the Se Gi we know), but a child of his own who got lost in his guilt and helplessness. And to think Se Gi was the one who started the fire. It makes me wonder if Se Gi was the emotionally mature adult then as he is also in the present day (given that a full-grown Se Gi appeared behind Little-Se Gi). *props to the child actor, by the way*
I like the moment Ri On and Ri Jin had; Ri Jin has finally learned the truth and regained most, if not all, of her memories. But she still sees Ri On as her brother, and to him that's special. You can argue that Ri On is in love with her, but I don't think that's quite it. He does love her, yes, but I think it's in that way that only a big brother can love. He protects her at any cost, and encourages her to snap out of the funk she's sunk into. He reminds her that just because she was born into a different family, he and his parents are her family now.
I'll admit, when we figured out that Ri Jin was the other girl in the basement I began to suspect one of her adoptive parents to be the one who rescued her from the fire. The secret keeping between them up until now definitely revealed that they knew something, and I can't wait to see in the next episode exactly how the escape from the fire played out. I can't believe there are only three episodes left. I don't want to say goodbye to this show!
