Uncontrollably Fond (2016)

So similar when it comes to the health conditions of the leads. But in Millionaire's, the female lead is the one who's sick and they both hid it from their lovers at first eventually leading to the sad part .

- female lead is a famous artist (the name); male lead is a famous actor (uncontrollably fond)
- leads fell in love during school years + college (uncontrollably fond); leads fell in love during teen years/school years
- leads have a hard time living as they don't want to leave their loved ones
- love is all about timing
- slow paced romance between the leads

The tone and the ill-fated relationship between the characters due to their intertwined pasts. Even though totally different setting and plot, both are heartbreaking dramas that will leave a long-lasting impression and still hurt when thinking about them long after one has finished watching them.

Both dramas deal with terminal illness, finding love and got the same vibe.

Both of them are melodramas and The fl and ml both knew each other before they were lovers. The fl's both have a younger brother.

i'd personally suggest this movie to everyone.this was just amazing! simple but touching story

The summary states “People change but can the heart adapt?” that’s exactly what Kill Me, Heal Me plot is about.

BOTH:
- FL the will adapt to ML sudden changes due to his mental illness
- Male leads in both have a mental disease except KMHL is more psychological and Uncontrollably Fond is more of a incurable disease, can’t be managed.
- Both ML’s lose their memory eventually and don’t know who they are and who those around them really are
- Rich male lead except in KMHL the male lead was less of a jerk

BOTH:
- deal with male lead and female lead lives being intertwined by their friends and family
- love happens between male and female lead due to tragedy of a loved one (male lead loses loved one in Secret) (female lead loses loved one in Uncontrollably Fond)
- DECEPTION theme - male lead is deceived into believing female lead did wrong when really it was someone else but still male lead falls for her in Secret / in Uncontrollably Fond female lead is deceived by many close to her who know the truth including male lead but he still chooses to fall for her
- both dramas filled with pain and misery
- female lead in both are pitiful, poor and stoop very low to appeal to the rich at some point

Pinocchio and Uncontrollably Fond give off a similar vibe. The shows focus on characters who's lives are intertwined in both the past and present and both shows deal with parental issues that may or may not affect the relationships between the main characters.

While this is a "love story" it still has corrupted officials and lying jerks. The main devil in here made me mad.

[Spoiler Alert] I got the same feels at the ending with this one as I did with Uncontrollably Fond.

Both dramas have star-crossed lovers.. Past lovers reunited in the present..
I found the theme for both dramas similar. slow and steady..
Heart-gripping melodrama.. break ups and make ups due to parental issues..

Similar in many ways. But this is Korean drama
So the similarity is:-

Both dramas give strong feelings after the end
