Now I know. Thai BL series are all pretty much fan service for fujoshis. This one however reminds me of those fics written by 13 year old girls who know nothing about relationships, let alone queer ones.
The humour is silly and childish and seems out of place with the overall plot. A lot of it brought me so much second hand embarrassment that I had to stop and take a moment to shake it off.
I'm used to awkward kisses too but the main characters looked like they were being held at gunpoint during theirs, and when they're hidden by the camera angle it's obvious they aren't even touching. Not saying the actors are to blame for this, maybe that's how they were directed, but either way it looks cheap. Their chemistry lacked too.
Overall everything felt shallow and halfway done. I couldn't get invested into the characters or relationships. Interactions seemed forced and awkward and I couldn't get myself to click next past the 8th episode.
If you want some mindless fantasy, and cute guys to lose your mind over then this is for you. But if you're holding out for a good narrative and interesting characters you might want to skip.

SWEET BUT NOT GREAT
This is an average BL series. One of the earlier productions, so many of the faults must be forgiven. Filled with amateur, teenage boys so the acting isn't aways up to par. But it's sweet, tender and has a nice sense of first loves that makes it better than the sum of its parts. The story is very simple an straightforward, despite tossing in some interesting issues (that are skimmed over or forgotten quickly, unfortunately). A bunch of couples slowly realize their feelings for each other. Filled with countless innocent misunderstandings that cause far too much drama, angst and pouting/tears. Sometimes these couples are so good at expressing themselves to each other - until the writer needs them to stop communicating so they can create fake drama between the couple that could be easily resolved in 2 sentences. And it becomes the same misunderstanding over and over again, so it's tedious, repetitive and doesn't evolve as much as I would have liked.
The acting fluctuates from horrible, amateur moments to moments of very real, natural and moving tenderness. All the boys do better once they get over the set-up (where their characters act OUT of character) and past the fake drama (that is so forced by the writer that even a great actor would have trouble being convincing) and start to fall in love. They can each convey their feelings with just a glance when they are allowed to. They all have some sweetness and naivete that is truly charming. and makes you like them despite their characters not being fully developed.
But the writing and direction are terrible. The simple story could have been told in half as many episodes, so it feels like the writer is dragging things out, rehashing old feelings, and going over the same territory repeatedly. The direction, like many early Bl series opts for those ultra-long held gazes, where the actors are forced to stare at each other for 45 seconds for absolutely no reason than to create atmosphere and emotion where there would be none. The poor actors are not up to the task, and this is where they and the series suffers the most. The characters do not evolve in a realistic fashion. One minute they are in love, the next denying it, the next confused, the next in love. Some of this is expected in for a teen who is just discovering their sexuality, but once you declare your undying love for your boyfriend, I don't buy you going out with your girlfriend or hooking up with some random stranger. If you're still going to fluctuate - then don't declare your love. You can say, "I've never been happier, but it's all still so confusing. " Easy. But not, "You're the only one for me... until tomorrow when that girl I don't really like, who cheated on me in Episode 1, calls me up again."
The series also suffers from a lack of focus. Is it light-hearted, romantic fluff or more serious, adult-themed? Bringing up issues like online hook-ups, non-consensual sex, societal taboos, etc and then just dropping them without a full examination is lazy and potentially harmful fo the target audience. For the most part it wants to be sweet, but then , unlike most BL series actual intercourse is implied, discussed and even has harmful consequences. (I really wish the writers would talk to gay men who have engaged in intercourse so they would get the details right)
Not sure if I'm missing something, but very little seems resolved at the end of the season. The final conflict between Tee and Fuse is so minor I'm not sure why it becomes the biggest and most emotional sequence, and its resolution is so unsatisfying. Other stories are just dropped or left unresolved as well. Maybe they knew they were filming a second season and wanted cliffhangers, but none of it felt fully realized.
I would watch again for the cute, tender moments and just to see these sweet, adorable boys again. But for now, I'm moving directly to the sequel to see how they handle the next evolution of each of these couples.

The music was amazing. The acting was good for such young actors. The story is questionable. If you do not like rape, I warn you. [Why do Thai bl dramas always have to include rape or sexual assault? I do not know. The directors and writers need to change that and do it better.]
It gets fluffy, sure. But I felt so uncomfortable watching the "sex scenes". First of all: with such young actors, it seems inappropriate. Also: where is the reality?! Nobody falls in love with a predator.
Then there are the absolutely cringe-worth parts that were even more confusing. People pooping and other people listening to it? I mean.... Okay.
The love story between the main characters is...
Fuse and Tee = annoying as hell.
Frame and Book = cuteness overload!
Nine and Rodtang = realistic for that age.
Yok = I am not interested.
Then we have Jean... why is she even there for so long. She makes Fuse looks so annoying and cringey. He is really conFUSEd.
I liked it anyways.

It's not one of the best.
I watched this BL 5/6 years ago and it was my first. it's not that bad, but of course it could be better. It's not one of my favorites because I think it contains a lot of flaws, and honestly? I don't know how I managed to watch all the eps at the time. I think that as I hadn't watched any others before, I thought this one was cool! But nowadays I wouldn't watch it again. I think it's acceptable if people liked it at the time of release, but FOR ME the quality of BL dramas has improved more, in terms of acting, production, etc.Not to say it's that bad, I think the second season is better.

Seemingly corny at first, the series does have some worth as a storytelling device.
The acting does have some awkward moments, but for the most part the actors are quite competent.
The inter-relationship between the cast members is also quite good, furthering the believability of the stories.
The music is nice and works.
Al in all worth watching.

Watching Make It Right was a RIGHT choice!!!
I never set expectations even mere ones with this series because I am not attracted to old BLs that much just like Lovesick. After watching this, I can safely and surely say that this is way better than Lovesick, sorry (not sorry ?)! I found the cast more light and not that overwhelming unlike Lovesick having many cast which I had trouble recognizing which is which. I love how hilarious this is, especially the friendship of Frame and Tee (more like a gang lol). Damn, Frame has been doing secret rendezvous ?!!! I was really like laughing when Book and Frame coincidentally met when Frame was on his rendezvous haha!! After that he can't walk and Frame told the nurse his was his bf hahaha!!! I really enjoy the ride of this series, I really did!The only cons for me is Fuse being martyr towards his trifling gf. She's so annoying af. I pity Tee for that like where will he put himself in this when Fuse having dilemma if he will let the bitch go or not. That's hurtful for Tee like what is his right, they're not even bfs to settle things with Fuse over his cheating gf. I don't really like how martyr Fuse (not loyal, not loyal. Way too different word from martyr). He let Tee stay while still being martyr to his gf. Guess what he let that be his situation til season 2. Naahhh that's stupidity for me. If I was him I would just drop her off because I've seen enough, no more explaining after they're seen holding hands while walking, no I don't think siblings necessarily do that. Fuse is really like having unnecessary dilemma on his own unknowingly hurting Tee this entire time. Rodtang was redundant like just for the sake of main lead rivalry.
The cast were really cute but the acting and the chemistries are a bit strange for me but it grew on me as the series itself. The first ep was like not that something that hold a great grip on me but time went on I grew to love this series beyond poor English subs and some weird ad and sound effects showing up here and there.
This was a great recommend for those who do not still watch old BLs. I really do enjoy this, it's solid after all.
