I had to give a 9 to "Story" instead of a 10 not becauise of the story itself, but because it just felt too short, I'm gonna miss this so much!! I'll most likely be re-watching the drama in the not-so-far future.

The cast was great because there were two members of SuJu in it and I enjoyed the other characters as well. I gave them a 7.5 because although I don't think their acting was award- worthy, it wasn't dull and kept you entertained (I might be biased since I like SuJu though). I definitely am more of a Donghae fan, so naturally instead of finding things like Donghae's little victory pose and strawberry pudding odd or annoying, I thought it was cute/funny seeing him and not his character doing these actions. The long leg thing was cute too (we all know you use insoles because of SM Entertainment, little Donghae <3). I was not as big of fan of Siwon before this show because I found him to be a little fake on variety shows, but he isn't ugly for a main role, and his acting's not too poor either. SuJu's acting must've been at least good though because I didn't even notice that they were being dubbed and that Donghae's voice was much higher than usually and that Siwon's sounded like his impression of that famous designer he always does impressions of. I just thought that that was how all Taiwanese drama's were where the voices didn't match the lip movements. Gong Xi was easy to like in the beginning because of her strong sense of purpose and since she seemed more lively than other main leads tend to be. She was cute but it was a little weird that she looked like YoSeob from Beast to me mixed with Gollum from Lord of the Rings (even more so when she held that stone). Unfortunately she seemed to get annoying and whiny towards the end (especially the baby voice and weird dancing fit?). I liked the actress who played Qin a lot. She was very beautiful and her confidence was admirable. Du Xian seemed like a very credible actor to me especially how believable his smiles were compared to Siwon's (for a while, I thought that he had something going on with Gong Xi and that they would end up together), but his expressions began to become repetitive and was a little creepy sometimes when he kept smiling to himself. His yellow phone was cool though. Mary did not seem cute at first because I thought she looked old, but later her little round face reminded me of the adorable kid from Modern Family. I'm usually not a fan of odd humor, but I thought that the CEO was interesting. I did like some of the manga effects they used in this show and the little treats that made them happy.
I gave the music a 7.5 just because I like SuJu. The beginning song was nice but I didn't really get addicted to the music.
I don't rewatch shows so I'd give this a rewatch value of 1.
Overall it was fun to watch and didn't really have many hard to get through scenes, but no wow breathtaking, heart-wrenching moments either so I gave it a 7. To be fair, I don't think that they could really have the actors get too close since it would upset their fans, and it's very rare for people who are trained to be singers to have outstanding acting like Gong Yoo's performance in Coffee Prince as well (I did enjoy Rain's acting in Full House though). If you're a fan of Donghae or Siwon and aren't overly obsessed to the point that you can't see them with another girl (which you might want to get checked if you are), then I would recommend this show. It's cute, funny, and keeps you entertained.

This NEEDS more seasons
I loved this drama. I loved everything about this drama. I loved Gong Xi. I loved loving Lian and I loved hating Shang. This is such a sweet drama despite the fact that it's focus was on revenge. I wouldn't say this is a romance because the drama was too short to actually show any romance. The plot itself is more about growing up. Gong Xi starts off as a women who has been in love with the same man since childhood, Shang. They grew up together and she helped him get to fame. But she then finds out that he never really cared for her and was only using her so she seeks revenge by entering the entertainment industry where she meets Lian who helps her heal. He helped her stop hating to the point that she no longer cares for revenge. We got to see a relationship grow out of respect and admiration, I wouldn't say that it had grown to a fully romantic relationship, but it's there.
Qin is one of my favourite characters that we meet on the first episode. At first she may not seem like a nice person, but at no point does she exude any villainous characteristics, I understood why she immediately took a dislike to Gong Xi because her first impression of Gong Xi was also my first impression of her and I also felt like I can relate a lot more to Qin then any other character in this drama. Even when neither charecters liked each other, you immediately get the vibe that they will become best friends, and I loved their friendship and the overall aura that both characters presented. Gong Xi's aura is one of the biggest elements in this drama, she has a very strong aura that helps her gain fame.
I really wish this drama was longer and I wish we got to see more of Shang. I loved Shang's character, in the sense that I loved hating him. I feel like if this drama were longer, he would have grown to be a more likeable person that I might actually ship with the Gong Xi. It's a pity that he had so few scenes especially with Gong Xi. They had amazing chemistry, she had good chemistry with Lian as well, but Gong Xi and Shang's scenes after she entered the entertainment industry were either hillarious or hot. Lian and Gong Xi's scenes were more sweet.
I read that this is based of off an anime (not sure if the anime or manga came first), and the anime is complete (more so than this) so I'll probably watch it even though I don't watch anime, because this drama was that good and I NEED an ending.

Some of the usual Tdrama problems where not present, like horrible audio quality. However the female lead acted out the usual cute and whimsical aside some clown characters performing the usual Taiwanese style slapstick.
The music was very good but repetitive. The audio was dubbed and thank the maker they changed Siwons dub after 2 episodes.
The story is engaging and at some points even deep enough to be immersive. Just when it's serious and you're holding your breath someone falls over and the moment is ruined.
I couldn't help wondering how these novice actors felt about meta acting, especially when they were supposed to portray acting perfection. I believe the director did a superb job with them.
I don't know why I wished for more romance. What was shown suited the story. However I wished we'd get a final confrontation that was a bit more than what they ended up doing.
I watched this because I love Choi Siwon as an actor and think he's a comical genius. His role here was much more mellow and stiff. So a tad disappointed.
Then there's the other Super Junior dude who I have no previous knowledge about. Can't really say he did bad.
Overall an ok drama with some moments that are fun, sweet, sad-ish, exciting. Good cast, good directing and good story.

I loved the Skip Beat! Anime I waited over 3 years for this to come out and I wasn't disappointed.
The storyline: Basically followed the anime though it added "MORE" that didn't leave anyone disappointed like the anime did.
Acting/Cast: I was a little scared of both at first, picking Chen Ivy as Kyoko I wasn't sure how she would do with changing her moods, though she did a great job. I was also a little skeptical with them choosing Choi Si Won as Ren. I honestly didn't think he was the right "look" until he started to acting he drew me in with his facial expressions, Lee Dong Hae was on the spot with acting out Sho perfect and as for our lovely President of L.M.E Allen Chao as Lory was like seeing him come out of the anime as a real person. So if you don't want to watch it because of the choice of actors believe me they "make" Skip Beat!
Music: Was honestly catchy and worth putting on your Ipod! Future - Mify(Roomie)is a an between song in the episodes and I truly loved it and Super Junior M S.O.L.O opening song fits perfectly for this drama.
Rewatch Value: Is a definitely rewatch I watched it over once already and can't wait to get this on DVD.

for the 1st 7 eps the female lead is so awful. the character is SOO whiney and has nothing remotely resembling self respect. they're going for "down and out" and end up somewhere in the neighborhood of angsty abandoned 3 yo. it was hard to watch. it was also extremely repetative and focused very little on the things that made me want to watch like the love triangle and her revenge plot.
when i picked it back up i felt a glimmer of hope. they had worked out most of the things that made me hate the 1st 7 eps but the 2nd half wasnt much better. a whole new set of problems cropped up. character development goes wonky, the story gets tunnel vision to the point that all other plot lines that have been created are ignored.
what's most annoying for me was that they picked a very BAD spot to stop. i know it's a currently running manga, but if they had waited a little longer to even go into production they could have come across a point in the story where wrapping it up felt more natural and doesnt leave the viewer hanging.
when all's said in done i dont hate it as much as i did, i'm just really disapointed b/c there is NO reason this show couldnt have been excellent.

This is a major plus. The underdog plot version where you find yourself rooting with her to kick ass and vanquish her enemies. Basic heartwarming fluff, you probably won't think much afterwards but you will have laughed until your face hurts.
You can watch it for the romance because of the gorgeous men, but don't expect too much because Kyoko is like Sunako from Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge. She actually says things like "bright" and doubts Ren's every move.
The comedy is over the top most of the time with the chicken suit and her mini-Kyoko spirits threatening the other characters and the eccentric director (favorite scene is the 2-person camel suit and he was riding it!! which has no affect on the plot but just because they can), but I dare you to not crack a smile at it. Although, they seem to have made Yashiro (Ren's Manager) into a side-character which is a loss because he is the one decipher what Ren is thinking and forces him and Kyoko to do something about it. I miss his knowing smirk. :(
The drama adaptation is almost the same as the anime. Which leads me to rank it slightly less, because the manga is still unfinished so it'll be hard to end it unless they alter the story which would ruin it a bit since our love interests are all emotionally stunted.
The actors are doing a good job considering SiWon and DongHae are doing it in another language and dubbed. Ivy can seem a bit much but that's what Kyoko is meant to be.
The music is catchy performed by SuJu. It fits with the lightheartedness of the comedy.
Honestly, I fell in love first with the opening sequence, the drama is really well shot. They got all of the details perfect considering the original setting is Japan.
I'll probably end up re-watching this because the story is just so entertaining.

The story is mostly faithful to the manga/anime which is a good thing; however, some parts in the first few episodes are so contrived that the anime sometimes seems even more realistic than this live-action version. Also, each episode feels a little stretched. While it’s common in many dramas based on mangas to stretch the story slightly to include more character development, this one includes quite a lot of unnecessary antics that are sometimes painful to watch already.
If I hadn’t seen the anime or read the manga, I would’ve thought that the everyone in this drama was perfect for their roles. Still, I’m quite satisfied with the cast. Lee Dong Hae is great at portraying Sho; Choi Si Won is not exactly like Tsuruga Ren, but he’s okay, and Ivy Chen , though can be irritatingly loud-mouthed and quite different from Kyoko in the manga, is not at all unlikeable.
Overall this drama seems promising, and I can’t wait to see the rest. Even though it’s not exactly hilarious, it’s still pretty entertaining.

Story: Ehh , In my opinion the story line was OKAY . It wasn't the best , your typical " I broke your heart , now what ?" Story.
Acting/Cast: Only reason why it didn't get lower is Choi Si Won and Bianca Bai and the guy that plays Sho (forgot his name) does a really good job. As well as the other cast members. But the reason why I gave it a 6 is because of Ivy Chen. I SERIOUSLY don't think she suits this role and wish they had chosen someone who was more of a natural bubbly girl rather than have someone who had to force it. I just wasn't buying it.
Music: The music was catchy, pretty good, gets annoying after a while though. Some new OST's would help -_-
Rewatch Value: Would DEFINITELY not watch it again. Couldn't even GET through some of the episodes ! It was horrible !
Overall: I give it a decent. I mean if you love Ivy Chen and want to watch it nevertheless go ahead! All I'm saying is I don't really buy her bubbly act. But the guys are eye candy so that's okay! Also I forgot to mention Si Won's voice is dubbed so if you love his Korean voice, be prepared to hear his dubbed Taiwanese voice (:

I gave a 9 on the actors because they really are good in acting. Also because I know Siwon and Donghae and some of the Taiwanese actors and actresses from previous dramas. I do not know the main actress though and i don't really like her a lot. But maybe she'll grow on me.
I really LOVE the opening theme song! Its very catchy.
