Not One of Lee Min Ho's Best
This drama was ok for me. Nothing super special. I watched it because I love Lee Min Ho. The story is decent and definitely something new compared to other K-Dramas.While very sweet, I did find the female lead to be mildly annoying at times due to her naiveté. I also get that she's meant to be sort of the extreme version of the "not like other girls" girl, but some of that was ridiculous.
It's been awhile since I've watched this but at times these "quirky" things were just weird and inappropriate. Sometimes her "dressing down" was just plain being a slob. Also, if I remember correctly she sometimes just lacked manners and was either oblivious to it or thought it was endearing... when it was not. lol

Surprising role for Lee Min-Ho but a good romance
8.5/10 is my rating. 2010 South Korean television drama spanning 16 episodes (~60 minutes). Park Kae-in (Son Ye-jin) is kind, impulsive, and clumsy. Architect Jeon Jin-ho (Lee Min-ho) pretends to be gay so that Kae-in will accept him as her roommate in the house he hopes to redesign.Park Kae-in (Son Ye-jin) is the daughter of a famous architect and is an aspiring furniture designer. She trusts quickly and completely. She grew up without a mother and does not spend a lot of time on her personal appearance. Romance has been an issue for her as her sweet nature is compelling but her lack of feminine whiles make maintaining a relationship more challenging. Jeon Jin-ho (Lee Min-ho) is an architect with a struggling business who desperately needs to win a big bid over a major competitor to keep his business afloat. His competitor does not play the game cleanly so he knows he has to go above and beyond in providing the perfect proposal to meet the desire of the customer that could be his saving grace. He finds out Park Kae-in so happens to live in a house designed by her father that represents a majority of the design elements the client is after. The problem is few have ever been given access to see the inside of the house in any detail. A series of comical misunderstandings leads Kae-in to think that Jin-ho is gay. Some impulsive and poor financial decisions have led her to be in the market for a renter and Jin-ho sees that as an opportunity to get a closer look at the architecture of the design that is so desired by the potential client. As a young woman living alone (her father is abroad), she is unlikely to let a single male move in. However, thinking Jin-ho is gay, she does not feel threatened when he proposes to rent from her. He does not say he is but lies by omission letting Kae-in believe he has no interest in women.
Spoiler 🚨 I really liked the development and evolution of the characters. The plot was predictable but in a good way, the complexity resided in the evolution of the character’s personalities. Good romances to me paint the picture of how each has something that completes or compliments the other.

A Good Drama to watch to just have fun and relax
After watching Boys Over Flowers though I didn't like the Drama much I really liked Lee Min Ho and Kim Bum so I watched this one for Lee Min Ho and honestly I recommend watching this over Boys Over Flower. I love Lee Min Ho in this and I also really like the the FL but who surprised me the most is the character "Chang Ryul" and also really liked the actor as well. He made me mad at him, curse him out but also understand him, he has the best character arc throughout the drama. I genuinely felt happy at the end to see him grow and mature as a person. The plot does feel a little dragging and boring at times but i just skipped few seconds whenever that happened and it doesn't happen too much and the soundtrack is good it suits the drama well and I do hum some of the Osts time to time.( Making Love by 4minute, Can't Believe it by Younha)I like the romance, the comedy and just the fun the drama gave me while watching it. All in all 8/10, since it's the 2nd ever drama I watched and holds a special place in my heart otherwise a solid 7.5/10

BORRRRRING
OMG. I don’t know if I can finish watching this. Only reason I made it to episode 7 is because Lee min Ho is in it. The lead female character is so ridiculously stupid it makes me want to scream. How many women today have no self respect and are in a relationship and don’t even realize it is not even a relationship? She goes around looking like a slob. She does clean up nicely as she is actually quite pretty. Guess I will watch it to the end but hope it doesn’t drag out too much. I am ing the skip button a lot so maybe that will help.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
I came here ready for another romance filled light comedy but the Female Lead lord :(
I was ecstatic at first since I loved her in Crash
Landing On You,
But I couldn’t digest her character literally irked me so much, will never find out why old Korean dramas find it necessary to make the female leads act like animals of some sort when the guys seems completely normal,
there’s no female like that on this planet I CAN PROMISE YOU THAT
With the constant weird ass noises and whining, acting like you’re drunk 24/7, and the creepy ass smiles, to be honest
It’s such a shame cause the actress actually has great potential if she was given a better character
The fact that I watched this much before dropping is only because Lee Min-Ho’s character was decent enough to watch
Story:
Guys the storyline was good at the start but later on in the episodes it’s basically the same thing being repeated over and over again, it’s like watching someone live their daily life
And the other characters frankly did not seem to interest me either :(

Magnifique
Foncez.

Awesome!
I am new to Korean dramas and I totally loved this one. I have watched three times already. I know I can watch it again. Awesome job Lee Minho and Son Ye Jin.I have gained a whole new respect and interest in Korean dramas. Lee Minho is on the top of my list as an actor, handsome and seems like a beautiful soul. I love watching him not just in dramas but interviews. I have been encouraging my friends to watch Korean dramas and several as just as hooked as I am. I am from American so I have to watch in the English captions but learning some of the Korean language just by watching.
