Novoland: The Castle in the Sky Episode 7 Reacties
.Unfortunately, Tianyi's unwillingness to include others in his plotting backfires (as lack of communication so often does). After locking Ling'er in Yu, the softhearted subordinate, helps her escape and reveals he never wrote a letter to her and even tells her that Tianyi intends to kill her
.On the other hand, Tianyi is upset that Ling'er is unable to see his kind efforts of keeping her locked up for protection (for such a smart guy he is extremely dense). On the other hand, this may be part of his own plan to keep her from developing feelings for him (actually this may be the case) and so he knowingly went to Yu, knowing his soft-heartedness, and planned this out.
.Unfortunately, they are intercepted by Tianyi who seems unphased by this escape and locks her up again. Shortly after he has a charged encounter with Tianjun. You can really see the contrast in their characters: Tianyi is both smug and dismissive while Tianjun is rigid and judgmental, not to mention confused as he can't really read Tianyi's motives. Sure, he suspects he wants to bring down humankind but he does not know why he is interfering with Ling'er...
.Tianyi lightly asks Tianjun if he ever thought that his rejection of Ling'er would sour any future chance to be with her (hmmm...foreshadowing?) but he insists to Tianjun that she hates him as if to reassure him (and maybe himself). Tianjun it seems is collaborating with him to help Ling'er....
.The empress learns of Tianjun's collaboration and has him arrested.
.Meanwhile, Yu (unaware he is being manipulated by Tianyi) is prepared to help Ling'er escape (as Tianyi planned). However, he hears that her father is to be executed, rushes back, and they go to rescue him (I bet the Empress engineered this to lure her out). Yu interfered with Tianyi's Flying Light (a kind of weapon?) and we learn that because of this his plans to help her father escape were derailed...so now both know that he is not the devil everyone paints him out to be.
.Ling'er agrees to marry Tianjun if she releases her father. Behind her, a masked Tianyi shakes his head in warning. But Ling'er is not going down that easily (honestly, when did she magically get good at martial arts?) She uses a needle to stun the empress (like her mom?) and with a dagger to the empress's throat forces her to release her father. But the empress can't allow that and hits her, prompting a big battle
.As Ling'er prepares to escape with her father, she tells Tianjun (...who escaped and is now there?) that the man is actually an assassin in dsiguise and not her father. Tianjun, thinking he is protecting Ling'er, kills this man. In the chaos that follows Yu is captured and only Tianyi and Ling'er manage to escape...
.Using his mechanical wings, Ling'er and Tianyi escape guards but because of his injury, they fall...
.We go to the Empress,he is speaking to a medicine man who delivers a potion that can assist in changing appearances. After paying him she immediately has him executed (this man really never saw it coming, and after delivering his life's work...this empress is RUTHLESS) and then she forces Jishu to take this...
*Show is getting better. I was kind of hoping that it was actually her dad who was shot and the empress was lying but turns out that is a no...*
