I enjoyed it a lot! Cute leads, great skin ship and everything I needed on a rainy weekend. Rom-com with all the classic ingredients. No, the story isn't the most innovative and you kind of know where the plot is going, but I am always happy to take that ride if there is chemistry between the leads. And there was!
I recommend it for when you want something cozy and non problematic.

nice while doing chores
This is a typical rom-com where you don't need much brainpower. Nothing really happens, the big issues are only superficially addressed hence don't feel like a big deal at all. FL fell into the ML's arms around 2684 times, all of them in slowmotion from different angles. All in all, not worth the watch tbh, but if you need to get a quick romcom fix or need some background noise while you're busy epilating your legs or something - go ahead.
I actually enjoyed the soundtrack, some of the songs were easy enough to hum along right away, which made me think they might be good to use for language learners.

I gave me a warm feeling. I must say that i was mesmerized by the ML esp. the FL. She really into her character. I liked her emotions. I got carried away every time she cried or talking to herself. She portrayed it naturally. Most of the time i watched kdrama because of the male actor handsomeness. At first ML got my attention he is so handsome and manly but as the story goes, i became a fan of the FL. Loving her more.
All the supporting cast did a good job. I liked their portrayal. Especially the secretary. He is so good.
The music, when i first heard it , i got hooked time and time again. I even downloaded the ost on you tube channel. Though i never understand any single korean word of it but the voice is sososo good. Ji eun has a very nice vocal. And so sweet to the ears.
Story plot, the cheesiness is ok. Especially when your young, falling in love is sweet and romantic. When you do fall in love and find your soulmate, you will get what im trying to say and you will appreciate this kind of story. It maybe a light
story thats the reason i got hooked into it. I like dramas also but not for this one.
Ending, oh i loved the ending. So heart fluttering. I finished it with a warm smile in my heart.
Hope your enjoy watching it.

the chemistry between the main couple was presented in a real and romantic way, they worked well with each other. the characters and plot was cliche, where the rich man falls for someone 'out of his league' but even though the story line is outdated, i think you should definitely watch it.
If you love cute fluffy romantic kdramas or you have run out of options on what to watch then you should watch this. Despite the bad reviews it may have gotten, i still think this drama is still one of the best ones. Its so cute that i might have to re watch it later on.

Story:
The first 3 episodes are actually quite interesting and funny, the rest slowly turn into a pain to watch (with the exception of a few scenes, really). They keep introducing new issues, but the whole story has no depth - there is not much character development until the very last episode. This is a perfect example of lazy writing, you can't just leave gaps in the plot, trying to cover them with some emotional flashbacks all the time. I had some hope for the last episode, but it still felt quite rushed and shallow.
Acting:
This is hard to rate.. I am not overly impressed with the acting, but a big part of it is probably just because of how poorly the characters were written. Still, I saw some good acting from the supporting characters and also the main characters' kiss scenes are quite good and the viewer can actually believe that the characters are into each other. Overall the acting is tolerable.
Music:
The music is pretty OK, I guess. Nothing memorable, but at least there wasn't something that made a bad impression on me, so I say it's a win.
Rewatch Value:
I seriously don't think this drama is worth rewatching. There are a lot of flashbacks anyway. You can't really miss anything worth remembering.
Overall:
I give it a 5.5 - just a little above average, because I was still able to finish it. I wouldn't really recommend it to anyone though (maybe I recommend just watching the first 3-4 episodes and then just the intros of the rest of the episodes, and finally watching the last episode, idk).

Drama that gives you a dose of a more mature romance
I just finished this drama, since someone here on MDL recommended it to me when I said I was looking for a lighthearted romcom. I pretty much got what I was asking for. This drama doesn't really have that much depth into it, but I enjoyed watching it anyway. It's lighthearted and not too stressful, which is exactly what I was looking for in my current mood. Though there were some frustrating aspects to it because of some of the characters and misunderstandings, those didn't overshadow the main plot like I've seen happen in some other dramas. Lately I've watched a few dramas that I've almost dropped midway because they got so boring, but this one kept me at least somewhat entertained the whole way. Maybe because they kept it short at only 14 episodes instead of dragging it to be the "standard length" that's at least 16 episodes?
The main and supporting characters had good chemistry, nothing felt awkward to me. The secondary pairings were cute as well! Many of the supporting characters were really funny too.
But when it came to the soundtrack, music and overall sound management, this drama felt really amateurish. There were some scenes where the "background" music was too loud and blasting over the attempted dialogue, and one of the OST songs kind of annoyed me because the lyrics didn't make sense (what on earth does "love is mint pink" mean?? "Mint pink" is not even a colour?).
Another negative thing for me was that there were way too many flashbacks. Also the episodes are basically only 35-40 minutes long or so, they just have at least 5 minutes of "epilogue" at the end of every episode, which is pretty much just recapping a scene that already happened, but from a different camera angle or such. And at the very beginning of every episode they have this pointless long intro, and then after that they seem to take like 5+ minutes of the end of the previous episode and show it again as if the viewer doesn't remember anything that has happened. I found myself pressing the arrow keys of my laptop a lot to just skip skip skip all those recaps and flashbacks.
But overall this drama wasn't terrible, I liked watching it, and it showed a more mature description of an actual adult relationship than the average kdrama, which was refreshing to me.
Most of the time I see kdramas where some 30-something-year-olds kiss each other once and then act like it's the most embarrassing and naughty thing ever like c'mon you are not some schoolchildren you're supposed to be adults!! So the fact that the characters in this drama actually had sex and sometimes talked about sex was really refreshing to see, since as a woman in my early 20s I'm so tired of the "oh all 30+year-old Koreans are virgins and wait until marriage" narrative that most dramas try to push. It's not realistic at all. I mean not that all kdramas are realistic, but I wish that these regular adult relationship dramas could aim for realism and maturity more often, but without getting too dark. This drama did that right in my opinion.
So, after all this rambling, I ended up scoring this drama a solid 7/10. It was a bit fluffy, didn't have a lot of depth, and the sound management was a bit poor at times, but it kept me entertained and that's essentially the main thing I look for in a drama. I hope this review is helpful!

This kdrama was cute and thoroughly enjoyable. Light and fluffy, it's good for watching when you don't want to think too deeply (like after a long day at work). The premise is that Lee Yoo Mi (the straight-laced nutritionist daughter of a former "erotic" actress), played by Song Ji Eun, meets Cha Jin Wook (the chaebol heir/company CEO and known playboy), played by Sung Hoon, at the wedding for her mother's second marriage. Lee Yoo Mi is mortified by her mother's past, while her mother is not only not ashamed of it, but embraces it as an important part of her identity. Lee Yoo Mi and Cha Jin Wook end up having a one night stand (in his car, on the beach! Downright racy for a kdrama!) after which Lee Yoo Mi sneaks away before Cha Jin Wook wakes up. Cut to three years later and the renowned playboy has basically been celibate since that night because he's fallen in love with the mystery girl from the beach. Because it's dramaland, Lee Yoo Mi's new job is as the nutritionist for Cha Jin Wook's company's cafeteria. High-jinks ensue!
There is nothing really ground breaking in the story line here, and nothing is really going to be a huge mystery. It's a short series (only 13 episodes), and the pacing falters a little bit. Upcoming complications are telegraphed pretty obviously if you're familiar with kdramas, at least. The bromance chemistry between Sung Hoon and his character's secretary, Jang Woo Jin - played by Park Shin Woon - is gold every moment they are both on screen. Also, Sung Hoon is no slouch at kissing, even when his co-star is almost a foot shorter than him (manner legs almost certainly employed generously - either that, or Song Ji Eun got to stand on a lot of boxes).

Bad plot with bad characters
This drama is pretty bad. The beginning was ok, I found it interesting because K dramas usually don't discuss about sex so openly and even less about one night stands, but the show just misses the oportunity to make an interesting aproach to the theme. You'd also think that a female lead for this type of story would be empowered and liberated, but she's just the classic wall plant K drama protagonist. Seriously, she has no personality and is so passive, she never actively chooses what she wants to do, instead she's always being pushed into situations by other's choices while she (barely) reacts to everyhting around her. She could be replaced by a bed lamp and it wouldn't change anything in the drama. The male lead is also a flat, stereotypical character. I got mad at him cause he was constantly using his position as CEO or whatever to get the fl to do what he wanted and the only reason she was ok with it was because he's hot and rich. All of the other characters are also one-dimensional and are there only to fill space, because they're ultimately irrelevant. The single one I cared about was the protagonist's best friend, but he almost never showed up.
It's very irritating how most conflict arises from mere lack of communication (which could easily be fixed if the protagonists weren't so stupid) and the constant indecision of the fl make the story hard to digest.
I'm still giving this a 5 cause there's some nice fluffy scenes so I get how some people might like this, but I sincerely don't recommend this to anyone.

I will be honest. I started watching this because of Netlix advertisement and I said something like "yaah, it looks funny actually, I try it". And I was right, it was funny, nice and cute. But I have that feeling only during two episodes. It was fresh, funny, stupid and so on, exactly that type of serial I wanted now because of the quarantine time. But... really. After two episodes... everything began be bad and cliche. The female lead was ok, I understand her (more or less, not much, but in my opinion she was okay), but male lead... it was too dumb man, he was the typical guy who I don't like in my life, he was so much annoying and awkward. Their relationship was so cliche too. The lead cooker began be nice to our female lead and this wasn't surprising because these plots are frequent in dramas. That fact Hyeon Tae suddenly met Hyeri was again too cliche. I know everything about this story and I didn't watch all episodes. And I don't want to continue this story, rather I will go to watch The Untamed again because this has a sense and it's masterpiece.
I really hate male lead, his character... arg, how can someone love him? Only one normal character was Hyeon Tae, adorable and nice boy, I want him in my life. If I will be the female lead I will choose him of course because he has a brain a he is a sun.
This was just waste of time. I don't reccomend this, I can't do this.
I'm sorry for my english, unfortunately I'm not a national speaker so...

The story at first was pretty entertaining but as the episodes went on, it kinda lost its magic. Nevertheless, the chemistry was amazing in each and every episode.
The actors were really good and convincing and if I am not mistaken, last time I checked they‘re together in real life.
So I would actually highly recommend this drama, because even though the story line kinda lost its magic in the middle of the drama, what mattered in the end, was that the feeling was still felt by the viewer.
