I FINALLY FINISHED (Originally posted 2021-7-23)

Honestly? I loved the show. Do I feel robbed that they straight-up downplayed the bromance severely and replaced it with rushed romance? A little. But even so, I grew to love every single part of the show and I'm gonna miss it... I started this show during a very anxious period in my life and seeing myself finally be able to relax makes finishing it feel more special/eventful or something lol... I don't have many final thoughts other than this. I'm gonna miss it.

Good, but could have been great

There was a lot I liked about this show, but some of it didn’t quite work for me. The acting was stellar, it was some of the writing choices that was just a little under. The romance, in particular, left me rather underwhelmed because the character dynamics were kind of boring and it felt somewhat forced where it just didn’t fit. It would have been better if they’d just focused on the close bonds of friendships between the characters instead. Seo Joon and Soo Hyun’s relationship was definitely the most interesting to explore for me. Aside from the romance element, I thought it the rest of it was quite well done.

A drama about struggling youth in various fields.

At a distance, spring is green means at a distance youth is green. Unfortunately, when we look closer youth is not green, it is no fun but it is full of struggles and relationship problems.
