Both of the Melo genre, where the main leads meet in multiple stages of their lives. Although the young couple’s paths keep crossing over the years, the timing never appears to be in their favor.

An ordinary high school student, Min Ah lives with her mother, who occasionally acts like a child. Min Ah is a shy girl who does not have a lot of friends. That is why she doesn't enjoy school that much. The only thing that is fun for her is to watch Ki Soo, the boy who works in front of her school controlling traffic. He's a little crazy. Min Ah lives with the hope that someday she will also meet the fateful love of her life, just like the love that Ki Soo once had with an older student from her school.

One day, a new family moves into the villa one floor below Min Ah. It's the family of Young Jae, a college student. Young Jae tries to be overly friendly because they are new neighbours. Min Ah's mother prematurely assumes that Min Ah has a new boyfriend, and Young Jae simply goes along with her. One day, Min Ah falls for one of Young Jae's tricks.

In both dramas the protagonists have been friends since high school. They have feelings for each other but their timing is always bad.

From 1971 to 2001, the love between An Ran and Zhao Yong Yuan stands strong against time. From when they were children with no emotions, they gradually grew into adults with emotions for each other, from friendship to love. From Bei Jing to New York, from messy entanglements to devotion, they come to realize that what they can't leave behind are their emotions for each other.

In both of them the characters are childhood friends who are in love with each other but they grow up through the story and their feelings are nott materials in the end.

One is a Film and other a Drama but both has similar vibes.
Both our leads meet in school, become each other's First Love, date for a while untill they become adults. Then break-up (in very similar way of how Mains in OBC broke-up) and one day the ML receives Wedding Invitation from the FL.

Both Leads start as young high schoolers with totally polar personalities, always getting in fights get but falling in love. They get more mature and end up understanding each other after reminiscing their past just like OBC.
BUT Beware the ending is not like OBC. It may seem a sad ending to some.

Minato is a young girl who was traumatized at a young age by being abandoned by her parents and left with her senile grandmother. Although Minato and Night are very different - Minato is upbeat while Night is brooding, they get along anyway and she regularly updates him on the happenings in her daily life. Minato is even willing to confide in Night that she's falling in love with a boy she's recently met named Sho.

Miho, a high school student, refuses to approve of her widowed mother's potential husband when they meet each other at a restaurant. As she flounces out of the restaurant, she drops her cell phone. At the moment there is an earthquake, and she drops her cell phone down a staircase. The phone is found by Tokijiro, a boy that lives in 1912
