It was good until it wasn't
I have nothing new to say. I was enjoying it up until Episode 14, and then I put in on pause for about two months. I went back to watch the last two and a half episodes so that I could remove it from my Netflix watch list. I then cried for 2 1/2 episodes. The original soundtrack from this series is the best gift you will receive. It will yank your heart strings. I don't think I will ever re-watch but I have wasted my time on worse dramas.I may be in the minority, but I loved the ML lead. He is so fricking cute and he is a solid actor. I have never seen him in a drama before. I loved his size. He is a tall dude compared to the actress being so small. I thought their chemistry was so heartwarming. I felt the love the characters had for each other.
I liked it. I didn't love it. But I liked it.

I Can’t Help But Compare
As someone who has watched the Chinese adaptation(Use for my Talent) first, it took me a very VERY long time to watch this Korean adaptation despite the fact that I prefer Korean romseries over Chinese, because of the simple fact of how moving ‘Use for my Talent’ is, a masterpiece imo. Now that I’ve built the courage to start this series I now know that I was right to put it off for so long. They do not compare as far as quality. Use for my Talent had all the ingredients and I feel like clean with passion for now just has the toppings. First off, the 2ndML syndrome is real and prevalent when it comes to this adaptation unlike the Chinese version. I personally feel like the ML and 2ndML should have been swapped. The way I am just annoyed all around with this ML is something I rarely experience, he is a true thorn in the side. Not even the try hard “ cutesy” scenes saved his character imo. 2nd, The chemistry between the ML and FL is lacking. If I were to be put in the FL’s shoes the show would have ended as soon as the 2ML confessed, the next episode would of been a marriage finale honestly lol. 3rd, for some odd reason it seems like the FL in this adaptation is waaay more disgusting and unclean as compared to the FL in Use for my talent, which wasn’t a huge deal because she improved as the episodes progressed but it was just a turn off in the first few episodes. 4th, I personally feel like the relationship between the ML and FL gives forced vibes just to move the story along. The fact that she just all of a sudden started liking him off of nothing is weird, she had no reason to have feelings for him whatsoever, he did nothing special besides randomly kiss her and catch her when she fell off the letter, he was very rude to her in most of their encounters. There was little to no build up. In closing, If you have watched the Chinese adaptation first, I would say be prepared and don’t go in expecting much from this one in comparison, If you are going into this adaptation first, it is a good drama to pass time. It’s lighthearted with a little comedy and a spoon of ridiculous. As a stand alone drama I give it a 7.5/10 kinda recommend. If compared to Use for my Talent I give it a 5/10 heck no I don’t recommend but watch at your own risk if you wanna.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
Ce drama a été un véritable coup de coeur pour ma part !
Cela faisait un moment que je n'avais pas regardé de romance mais celle-ci tout particulièrement a réussi à faire battre mon coeur si fort ! Si le premier épisode m'a surpris par son humour, où j'ai sincèrement laissé échappé des rires à voix haute, j'ai ensuite été absorbée dans une histoire d'amour encore plus douce que des draps fraîchement lavés.C'est avec ce drama que je découvre les deux acteurs principaux qui ont une alchimie si importante à l'écran et que je suivrais désormais de près vous pouvez en être sûrs. Le drama en général aborde divers sujets, comporte quelques morales comme toujours, il a ses moments moins agréables, mais la romance est si belle que ce ne sont que des détails sur lesquels je n'ai pas réussi à me focaliser.
Moi qui m'attendais à ce que le dirigeant d'une société de nettoyage soit ennuyant, j'ai été bien bernée. Je ne compte pas le nombre de fois où je suis passée du rire aux larmes, et où je finissais toujours par me retrouver avec des étoiles dans les yeux à l'idée de découvrir un nouveau moment entre nos protagonistes adorés.
Autre surprise toute particulière, j'ai absolument adoré les rôles secondaires de ce drama ! On retrouve Kim Won Hae que j'adore, mais aussi d'autres acteurs moins connus qui sont formidables à l'écran. Je me suis même surprise à guetter bien plus souvent que je ne le devrais les apparitions à l'écran des rôles et romances secondaires.
En résumé, j'ai absolument adoré ce drama qui mélange avec habileté humour & amour. Si vous cherchez une romance douce, quelque chose à regarder avec une tisane après une journée trop chargée, c'est le drama qui vous redonnera le sourire à coup sûr !

Mysophobia should be a subplot, not the whole plot!
Am I the only feeling like there are gigantic black holes in the plot?It's like the writers have decided to go on a cooking spree and mix wasabi with chocolate. These 2 ingredients are potent in each of their own rights, but Wasabi Kit Kat? Thanks, but no thanks. From mysophobia to chaebol to love triangle, you name the cliché they've got it. The show even started with the whole stylised apartment and walk-in closet thing.
Everything is unbearably unbelievable and predictable. We've got the female protagonist, who is supposed to be "dirty", looking still pretty and neat as ever with just a few a hair out of place. And the lead male keeps having way too many "accidents" where he would overexaggerate to the same degree every single time, enough to make the couple seems as polar opposite as possible. Then, somewhere in between, there are bits and pieces of flashbacks that are recalled rather awkwardly and forcibly which don't really add much to the depth of the storyline.
Maybe my expectations were a little too high as I anticipated for Yoo Jung's comeback and Gyun Sang's rom-com debut. Either way, it's not my cup of tea at the moment.
On the other hand, where is my Untouchable adaptation, JTBC?

Do you want a stale story with uncomfortable chemistry? This is for you.
Lets start with what I like: Kim Yoo-jung as the female lead was endearing and grounded. Though this series is unrealistic she offers a rather humanising performance which puts many of the actors in this serious to shame. Her acting was the only thing keeping me going for as many episodes as I did.Further helping this was the family element which was by far the best part of this drama, both the relations amongst the family members and the further interactions they have with the people they bring into their lives.
However, none of this could get me to continue to watch this.
This drama fails at its very foundation and that is the romance with the male lead. His character was insufferable, he spends most of the early episodes falling in the pit falls of his own ego, all whilst negging the female lead, or giving the viewer emotional whiplash as he switches between doing half decent things for the FL and being a general arsehole.
Now I went into this drama unaware of the significant age gap between the 2 main actors but it does explain a lot of the uncomfortable tension in many of the 'romantic' scenes. As a rule I'm not against all age gaps, however when the FL actress age is still in the teens and is being partnered with a man in his 30s in a workplace romance which already brings with it a power imbalance there is a level of ick that should not be overlooked. This could have been done well but it shows a lack of forethought and brings a disgustingly uncomfortable element to a drama that does not have the emotional or story strength to pull it off gracefully.

Episode 12 Question
In episode twelve, they are at an aquarium then she goes home and is lying in bed looking at a ceiling projection of aquarium scene/water. I would love that projector. I have searched online but haven’t found one with the aquarium scene. It’s easy to find ceiling projector with plain water or fake looking fish. I haven’t found one with realistic sea life. Se você está procurando um drama para leve divertido só para distrair ou dar um tempo de dramas complexos e tristes esse drama é para você. Eu me diverti demais assistindo os episódios principalmente os primeiros ,a história é fácil os atores são muito bons, a comédia é boa sem ser forçada.Confesso que tem aquela tonelada de clichês que vemos em muitos dramas por aí porem , ignorei essa parte e fiquei pela diversão, afinal eu estava saindo de dois dramas consecutivos tristes e melancólicos eu realmente precisava desligar meu cérebro e relaxar, acho que seja por isso que eu gostei, talvez em uma outra vibe eu não apreciaria este drama, pois não é muito meu estilo.
Em fim para mim foi um bom relógio, recomendo se você estiver interessado a se entreter um pouco.

Drama ma-ra-vi-lho-so. Elenco super completo, todos do elenco foram essenciais. Não é um drama que tem muitos personagens, sendo assim se torna cansativo. Crescimento muito lindo dos personagens, uma história divertidíssima e aborda assuntos sérios envolvendo questões psicológicas. Já assisti duas vezes e assistirei novamente. Por aqui, assistir as duas vezes foi que nem água corrida, quando mal percebi já estava no último ep. Eu amo este final, para mim não tinha como ser melhor. Um dos melhores finais que eu já assisti. Ele é legal pra quem gostou de pretendente surpresa
Eu gostei muito do dorama, o enredo é bem clichê mas a história prende muito, a única coisa que eu achei ruim é que nós últimos 6 minutos do dorama ela resolveu ficar com ele, poderia ter dado pelo menos um episódio deles juntos pra valer.Fora isso eu achei esse dorama muito muito bom, adorei o fato deles terem feito um salto no tempo, pq fez não só os dois mas todos os personagens estarem bem resolvidos, e melhores com os seus traumas.

El mejor drama de romance que he visto
Lo admito, no soy tan fan de los dramas de romance. Me gusta el romance, pero con un elemento más que haga que la trama no sea solo sobre la pareja porque o si no, me aburre. DEFINITIVAMENTE ESTE DRAMA ES LA EXCEPCIÓN.Clean With Passion llegó a cambiar mi vida. Es un drama HERMOSO, PRECIOSO, con personajes completamente humanos y reales, con los cuales te puedes identificar. Todo en el drama me gustó. En ningún momento me aburrí y realmente estuve triste la semana después de terminarlo, porque ya no podría ver más sobre la historia de Oh Sol y Seong Yeol. Es una drama que se pasa muy rápido. Yo soy una persona que acostumbra a ver solo un capítulo diario porque me aburro muy fácilmente, pero llegó el punto en donde pude verme TRES episodios en un día. TRES. Eso es todo un record para mí.
Una de las mejores parejas que he visto. Es un romance completamente puro, sin toxicidad por parte de ninguno de los personajes. Seong Yeol siempre hizo lo que le hiciera bien a Oh Sol y viceversa. Seong Yeol siempre la apoyó en todo. Hay una escena en donde están culpando a Oh Sol de algo que ella realmente no hizo, y aunque todas las pruebas indicaban que ella era culpable, Seong Yeol confió en ella y la apoyó aún cuando nadie lo hizo. Lo mismo con Oh Sol, ella siempre hizo todo lo posible para que Seong Yeol no tuviera que vivir experiencias incómodas por su misofobia. Por ejemplo, ella quería ir al cine con él, pero luego recordaba su enfermedad y le decía que no importaba, que mejor vieran una película en casa. ESO ES AMOR DEL PURO.
También me parece que trataron el tema de la misofobia de manera muy correcta. Sí, es una comedia romántica, la cual obviamente te hace reír de vez en cuando, pero no se burlaron de esta enfermedad para hacer comedia. Siempre fue todo muy respetuoso y siento yo que la representaron muy bien, mostrando cómo es la enfermedad en verdad.
Creo que el único detalle que sí me dejó un poco confundida y al que no le encontré sentido en la serie, es cuando mandan a Oh Sol a vivir con Seong Yeol. En sí eso no fue lo que me "molestó", lo que en verdad me "molestó" fue que la secretaria Kwon y el abuelo del Seong Yeol esperaban que él no se enamorara de ella y viceversa. En una situación así, en donde los dos ya medio sienten cosas por el otro (cosa que la secretaria Kwon CLARAMENTE sabía), es muy difícil que al menos uno de ellos no se enamore. Y esto lo quiero decir más que todo por el lado de Seong Yeol, ya que Oh Sol era la única persona con la que él podía interactuar correctamente, con la que podía estar sin ser molestado por su enfermedad. Quiero dar un ejemplo con Color Rush. Uno de ellos también tiene una enfermedad que el otro puede "curar", y aunque en Color Rush está un poco exagerado, es claro que el chico de la enfermedad se enamoró y en un punto obsesionó con el otro chico. No creo que necesariamente Seong Yeol se tenía que obsesionar con ella, pero obviamente se iba a enamorar de ella.
Si buscas una historia de amor muy hermosa, con personajes muy reales y con la que te puedes reír un montón y al mismo tiempo llorar, Clean With Passion For Now es para ti.

From episodes 8-11 the show started to pick up it's pace a little, and by the end five I was finally gripped by the show. I not only suggest everyone to be patient with this how but to be patient with all television shows. Always watch a series until the end, no matter how bored you believe the first half to be. Because you may find out, just like in this case, that being patient will reward you in a story that gives you fulfilment.
Out of all the shows I have reviewed so far, yes it's the lowest rated. It doesn't mean it's a bad show though. Watch it!
