My journey with "Unwilling Bride"
was...how should i put it? A different one. My rating is sorely based on that i only enjoyed the first six episodes and the writing went downhill with a lot of repetitive behaviour and situations. It grew boring fast so i had to speed forward and 16 episodes after that was a lot for me. But let me compliment at how stunning Mik Thongraya & Pooklook looked together on-screen and how well they portrayed their characters. The ML Kadethaen is really famous for being one of the steadfast, passionate and honest heroes of Lakhornland and i give props to Mik for handling this character with such charm throughout this lakhorn. Nackarin portrayed by Guy Ratchanont was another intriguing character as soon as he got introduced- he was a Anti-hero with a dark background, he made the story interesting with his revenge plot.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

I found this drama really intriguing at first in its plot. However, after getting to episode 9, I AM JUST SICK OF IT!!! The story is so repetitive and dragged out...at first I thought it would be a good drama based on its rating (because I usually rely and trust the ratings). However, it is just aggravating. The characters and plot is okay in itself. However, the way they dragged out the story is so unnecessary!!! Like she got kidnapped probably 10 bloody times and even though she knows she’s being targeted, she always seem like she’s so courageous! Okay that just annoys me personally, but I guess that’s different for every person. But just the repetitive nature of the plot and how continuous things keeps happening like the kidnappings and such. The story gets nowhere and it’s just not worth it! This is my first drama where the rating does not determine the actual enjoyment of the drama. To be honest I’ve already considered of dropping it at ep 5. But I continued on to see if there are actual quality content..BUT NOPE! Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
This was such a gem.
Aw, loved this one. The FL was so cute and playful and the ML was so handsome and cheeky. Loved their flirty/teasing/dirty joke moments.Only thing I was confused about was the time span. From first to ep 15 it seemed hardly a month had passed (Pin was only 6 weeks from the start but when she got hurt she was still 2 months preg episodes later?), but then all of a sudden in the last ep, Pin's belly was huge and Nakarin said it'd been 'so many months' since he had her in his palm. That makes you look at it all differently. Wish they had been more specific or consistent about that part lol. If you watch it that way then it would be annoying, frustrating, dragging.
But I enjoyed it thinking only like a month or 2 had passed so they were still new and getting to know each other, which is understandable, not wanting to say love you and jump into bed with a technical stranger, especially someone that has severe trust issues with men (so I wasn't bothered too bad by that progress-their chemistry made up for it all).
In ep 12, that bed scene, I was grinning so hard my cheeks hurt. It'll be hard to get over these 2 ugh lol. This was such a gem.

Please stop giving high marks to such bad things
Here absolutely nothing makes sense, I couldn't see more than 8 episodes. Each of them went exactly to the previous one, I can't stand the second lead, I can't stand the second lead, I can't stand the lead, about whom I have nothing to say, the typical male who fixes everything with forced kisses (not to mention that I VIOLATE the protagonist in the second chapter), and finally (I will avoid mentioning the others) I hate the protagonist, I think this is a general problem of dramas in Thailand, they are plagued with machismo, to her on edge kisses make her happy, incredible that in the 21st century there are writers who dare to do something like that, don't see it, don't waste your time, for my part with this I am convinced not to see drama again (if you can call like that) from that country.

It started to annoy me when saruths mother started pestering pin she's so loud and scandalous for a CEO.. and also hating nackarins character and his bodyguard too.. loopholes were too many to mention..
I dont know if i will finish this drama maybe i'll jump to the last episode when everything is settled, and Kade & May got their happy ending.

I really can't watch Lakorns I guess...
First of all, I decided to give this one a try as my first Lakorn after reading some good reviews about it, as how there is a SENSIBLE FL in it(which is a rare case in lackorns) and ML(not a molester)....But if this is what you call 'excellent' in lackorns then I can't imagine watching Lakorns in future...like I found that the FL is most calm and mature in this lakorn but meh....
I understand that she do not trust men and blah blah blah...
Actually just tell me, she found that her boyfriend literally double timed her and made another woman pregnant and ditched her in the wedding....but she still want to help him and take care of him........*bruhhh*
And then you see her temper towards ML, firstly both of them had fault when they had one-night stand but she just threw all the blame on ML right off the bat without listening to anything...okayy...I understand.
She was given days to cool down her mind but she kept whining and accusing as how ML stole her most precious thing, a papparazi came to blackmail them and ML tried to make her understand the situation and give her a good solution but she again declined without listening to anything...
Actually the main problem is the consistency of relationship and mood swings of FL...at one moment you will think that now they will solve things calmly...one moment FL behaves all lovey-dovey and next second she just run off without listening to a single sentence...
She herself was a celeb so she must know that how papparazis and media are in creating scandalous situations but she just run off, she could trust any men other than ML actually...I was wondering how was she even able to handle such a large company cause all I could see a woman pretending to be strong and trying to gather needless sympathy from others.
Like she is no. 1 celeb with a massive inheritance...but she is clinging to a scum man like he is some type of samaritan...the dude cannot do anything if her mother stops him...he made another girl pregnant while being in relationship and then ditched her on wedding...but even then we are being shown as how considerate and good man is he....wtf??!
Hah...I needed to vent these frustrations...anyways I can't seriously watch lakorns....cdrama and kdrama ftw!

Not much of a role for Mik Thongraya, again
Eh... Maybe if they at least cast Toon Pimpawee in the lead role? But this Miss Thailand... Universe... I don't like her. LOL.Even the main guy... Nothing against Mik Thongraya, but he was not old enough here to portray "30 year-old businessman", and I would prefer Bom Phongsakon, or Guy Ratchanont.
Anyways, Mik Thongraya's deserted groom kinda acts bit too cheerful when he meets the abandoned bride and spends a night with her, while he should actually be brokenhearted, too. We get to see (real) kiss scenes and a bed scene right in episode 1 with these two strangers. I couldn't help but think about how I never got to see such scenes with couples I liked and/or at point where I cared about them. Mik Thongraya is someone we haven't yet seen with compatible onscreen partner (I don't care whom he dated in real life). Pooklook is certainly no exception. Also Mik is not very well suited for a... suit. I mean he does well for blue collar roles or soldier roles but being "a suit", gives him kind of an awkward feel, something in his body language, perhaps his height and body built.
Main couple marries after 2 episodes for blatantly stupid reason and I couldn't help but think the girl would be better off without the guy. The guy was weird. I wondered who would liked him if he was not portrayed by the handsome Mik Thongraya. But, safe to say the character portrayed by Guy Ratchanont was even more sleazy.
What is interesting about this is that nang'ek isn't the usual type of poor cinderella: in fact she is someone whom her former fiancee deserted for such a cinderella. And in contrary to what we see in most similar stories (where rich boy & poor girl are opposed by everyone and "can't" be together) here we actually can watch how the rich guy absolutely cannot leave the poor girl because she always desperately needs him to take care of her destitute situation, of her baby, etc... It's actually the poor family members who are able to put pressure on the guy, not the rich family's, like we see in all the other dramas: it actually makes sense. And therefore, this nang'ek can ironically only envy the "poor" poor girl. She in fact does have some property, her hotel isn't successfull, still it's an asset various men are after and they all turn to her with various methods. At the end of the day, even her fiancee is actually a nice guy, who does only wish to live peacefully minding his own bussiness which can be small only enough to provide for his new family. There's nothing wrong about it, only it's kinda wrong of him to ask his former girlfriend to help. Just because she isn't poor, it doesn't even occur to him that it might hurt her feelings.
Episode 5 I still experienced disengaged feeling while watching. We still watch the former fiancee situation, his secondary character is going through some struggle that still fills the runtime even though he's practically out of the main story, while the main heroine is now married to a guy who started saying that he loves her, and acting like it, overnight. She also started to show some signs (like being upset that he might have someone else) and we watch scenes of them flirting/bickering back and forth, he also interacts with her family situation, takes care of her more than her father does but it all looks so weird, he is a complete stranger. I am afraid this reminds me of Mik's previous role in 'Mon Garn Bandan Ruk' where he also became nang'ek's husband overnight, literally. I didn't care to watch more than 3 episodes of that. And I'm not enjoying this, either. Mik seriously needs a proper role, where he can portray a character whose romance line with the girl would be properly developed.
There are many "drama" props added to this, like other suitors and jealous girls, old family enemies, gossip affairs, someone attacks nang'ek on the street, sometimes all this happening at once. It seems the writer just keeps writing - what they consider - drama on and on, instead of development of the relationship, which would be needed to make it at least mildly believable. So that I would at least mildly care about any of this. But I don't. So, I can just quit watching.
