Finally Picks Up

This episode jelled my interest in season 2. Enough of the story lines, investigative threads start to pull together so you start to see the core story emerge. If you are thinking of dropping the show, try to get to this episode.

Shi Mok

I love that Si Mok is deliberate with everything he does and says and that he remains unaffected by the norms of the culture. It's a shield of protection almost. I, too, found his question about her drawings quite telling. It's almost like he was asking if she feels lost in this new job. I wish YJ had the same shield, she's definitely caught between a rock and a hard place right now, and I feel so bad for her. But I know together they can help each other. More so, help their bosses go back to respecting the purpose of the restriction line within their respective jobs as law enforcement and protection agencies serving and keeping the public safe and just.

it is strange to see the shi mok and yeo jin on opposite sides, although both know that both the police and the prosecutor's office have things wrong. I miss seeing them together solving cases and that ending broke me, I didn't expect it
