The main character is misunderstood, similar to the one in New Smiling Proud Wanderer. Similarly, both main characters question whether good people are as good as they seem and are bad people really bad. They come to the concept of a grey area where there isn't inherently absolute good or bad. They both try to follow unconventional ways of fighting. They both go through betrayal and trauma and eventually get stronger and try to fight their way through.

It's Really good so far I believe it more about Lan Zhans Feelings for Wei Ying it's for International viewers....It's pretty good so far

If you love Wangxian and their couple dynamic, you should see Plus Minus, too. You can find modern time Lan Zhan and Wei Wuxian in P&M. Also both show are well acted and well casted.

It's is spinoff of unclean realm's story of The Untamed.
Story revolves around the Nie Ming Jie and Nie Huai Sang.
Their relationship as half brothers and the story what happens in the time line of 16yrs from Wei wuxian's death to reincarnation as mo xuan yu

If you liked the chemistry of Shi Guang and Yu Liang in Hikaru no Go, you'll definitely like The Untamed.

Shi Guang is definitely a modern version of TU Wei Wuxian. Both are mischievous, friendly, geniuses, snarky, funny, and loyal. Yu Liang is also very much the same as TU Lan Wangji as they are both serious, quiet, and prodigies. Even the dynamics of their relationships are similar, being bickering frenemies-to-"bestfriends".

Both HNG and TU are not focused on romance and have strong character development plots.

Oh and Ji Li (HNG Gu Yu) is also in The Untamed as one of the main supporting characters.

He's pretty, even the king fall for him.
He's a softy but he got a manly friend by his side.
A journey that will touch your heart

1.It's a wuxia, martial arts mixed with magical fantasy elements kind of Chinese drama.

2. The ML didn't know martial arts and didn't want to train but later on due to an event he started practicing martial arts [most dramas the lead already knows martial arts but in sword snow stride u get to see the beginning and very steps of the ML practicing and improving martial arts]

3.if u like a type of journey sort of series u should check this SSS drama out, it feels like u can follow every step of the journey and is apart of it and see every step of improvement and development of the male lead's character just like wei wuxian development

4. Like untamed, this drama sword snow stride have many plot twists. [there's a particular character that make me legit cry]

Sword snow stride is not BL and have straight romance and not bromance.

There are no sects but more like a political and kingdom kind of system.

I love untamed and I first watched it back in October of 2019 and from then on I have watched hundreds of dramas and sword snow stride is one of the dramas on the top of my list, feel free to check it out, who knows u might like it ( ??? )

Both have bl, and the location setting is similar. The cinematography is gorgeous in both. Moreover, the acting is excellent.

THE BROMANCE!!! While Untamed is originally a BL and Devil Judge is a bromance gosh you have to watch them both!!! Th tension is so freaking thick and the chemistry is sizzling!!!

It’s a short film. it’s about a blind guy, Po Xiao (Played by Ding Cheng Xin) who has a cultivation manual (the heart sutra) tattooed on his body which make people are trying to capture him. So the other guy, Feng Ren (played by He Chang Xi), he's trying to protect Po Xiao.
So, the whole plot is basically the two of them running away and then some heartbreaking stuff happens, and then more heartbreaking stuff happens, but they get a happy ending at the end.
This movie is actually the second time these two actors acted together, which is great because their chemistry is freaking lit. And the director for this movie is Guo Jingming, who also the director of the Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity, L.O.R.D: Legend of Ravaging Dynasties and Painted Skin: The Guo Jingming Edition as well.

In case you like Ren's character you will find him very similar to Lan Zhan from The Untamed.

Both titles have a focus on the soulmate relationship and love between two male martial artists. The Untamed has a lot of other plots going on too, but that is because it is a series and it has enough time to explore all the other plots. TMFFL's main plot is the relationship between the main leads. Both titles are good.
