Both are very well made noona dramas.
Both dramas show capable, independent, single career women in their 30s navigate work and life issues. They are slowly taken out of their shell and gradually made to put down their guards by their love interests who happen to be young men in their twenties. The men are mature despite their young age.
Both dramas have a well written, properly fleshed out female characters, supportive partners, and a decently paced romance.

Both of these dramas are about rich women who own large companies. Each of these women is very likable since they treat their friends and employees with absolute care, kindness, and openness. Besides business, there is also the romantic aspects of their lives, with both falling in love with a younger man. Overall, I highly recommend both of these series if you love a strong FL.
Both dramas feature a romance between characters from different social classes. In The Midnight Romance in Hagwon, the female lead Seo Hye Jin is a respected cram school instructor, while the male lead Lee Jun Ho was her former student. In Encounter, the female lead Cha Soo Hyun is a chaebol heiress, while the male lead Kim Jin Hyuk is a young man from a modest background.
The dramas explore the challenges and complexities that arise when people from different social backgrounds fall in love. They navigate societal pressures and personal desires as they pursue their relationships.
The Midnight Romance in Hagwon is directed by Ahn Pan Seok, who also directed the 2018 hit drama Something in the Rain, which explored an age-gap romance and societal taboos, similar to the themes in Encounter.
Both dramas feature a second chance at love storyline. In The Midnight Romance in Hagwon, the male lead Lee Jun Ho reenters the female lead's life after a decade, hoping to rekindle their connection. In Encounter, the leads' chance meeting in Cuba leads them to pursue a relationship despite the odds

Cha Soo Hyun's character in encounter is similar to Hae-Ryung's story in Happy Home. They both play unhappy, aloof but dignified daughter in laws with disapproving mother in laws. Both were married into rich family and get divorced by their husbands to let them free. Both ex-husbands love them still and want them back in their life. Even the divorce contract also is similar. Both are lucky to have a new man in their life who love them immensely.
Both have themes with an older woman and a younger man, where the younger man helps the woman loosen up and experience true caring. Both are quite cute relationships with honesty and caring. Both the young men MLs are happy go lucky and slightly immature in some aspects, but emotionally mature. Both FLs are "uptight" in various ways, and in positions of slight power (CEO for Encounter, and a manager of a salon for Last Cinderella) at least compared to the ML
age-gap with an older woman being in a position of power.
however, the love story is so pure.
I am thankful to both these dramas as they have livened up my boring life.
levels of excitement I have gotten from them is enough to sustain me for another year.
believe me, both are worth watching but require an open mind though. older woman/younger man is still an uncomfortable concept for many but if you can get past it, you will find two awesome shows
