Both these dramas have many things similar like male lead being arrogant, development of love between the leads, 3 boys and 1 girl staying together and caring for each other,etc...
Both stories have entirely different plots but they somewhat give you the same feeling...
You're beautiful is idol drama whereas rooftop prince is a historical and fantasy drama
While i was watching you're beautiful it made me laugh too much and at the same time cry also...i had the same feeling in Rooftop prince also

Both are gender-bender dramas set in the music industry.
- Sompong Non Somchai is a lakorn, meaning a drama from thailand. It's about two girls forced to work for a music company as spys for the police. They have to dress up as men to pass off as male dancers.
- You're Beautiful is a korean drama about a girl posing as her brother, who is A.N.JELL group new singer.

Both dramas are centered around music and idols. You're Beautiful focuses more on the main idol male group while Imitation portrays all aspects of the music idol industry. If you like music and idol themed dramas, then you will enjoy both of these! :)

Haven't watched Runaway Sweetheart yet, but story-line seems similar to the plot in You're Beautiful. A girl who replaces her brother in a idol boy-band, where the other members end up questioning their sexuality. You're beautiful is probably a lot better and more cuter!

Both are light, funny romantic comedies with moments that will pull at your heartstrings and make you cry. The male leads are outwardly cold but are secretly softies inside. Both female leads are very naive for their chronological ages because Mi Nyeo from YB grew up in a nunnery and Seo Ri from 30b17 devoted most of her childhood to playing the violin before falling into a coma when she was seventeen years old for thirteen years due to an accident. Both stories revolve around music, Kpop for YB and classical music for 30b17, both in their own ways make both genres of music sound really enjoyable. Both stories involve the couples falling in love while living together and both stories involve the leads looking for very important missing relatives. Both OSTs are great. Both shows will make you laugh, cry and root for the lovable characters.
