Regarding the premise of the show, it delivers on ALL the aspects. Well balanced mystery, crime and romance in one with well rounded characters. The leads are surprisingly good considering it's their first attempt. The OST is neither overpowering nor manipulative. Cinematography and computer graphics are really well done, nothing negative to mention here. Plot twists are logical enough. Unveiling of different layers of characters personalities, motives and/or abilities is refreshing and serves as a vessel to the storyline, which gets dark. REALLY DARK. But it's a crime story after all...So far a 10 from me. I'm dissapointed by the low ratings - the story unfolds at a comfortable pace, it doesn't have to be action packed all the time like other shows to keep you hooked.

Yikes, how did this show go off the rails that quickly. The first half of the show it was a solid 7 but then ugh, I had to push myself to watch it. Honestly, there were so many things that I didn’t like, and so much wasted potential. First the tragic Pinocchio knock-off fire backstory, and then the plot seemed so predictable and forced. I also didn’t like the side characters. The prosecutor who enjoys spending his free time watching people from his car, the chief’s daughter who although is a strong female character - I just couldn’t help but dislike her, that’s just me personally. The big bad of the series, the typical serial killer (the man who gave Kang Sung Mo his creepy watch-from-a-distance habits) who ‘can’t feel emotions’ but spends his whole life chasing, imprisoning and obsessing over a woman? Even the backstory behind the series of murders seemed like such a let-down (like people died man, and you stabbed 3 women to death, why??) and then the next Home Care fire with the same stabbings - all as bait to lure that woman again? And then that bizarre kidnapping, why??
And then we had to suffer the typical angst between our main couple because kdrama law says so, and when Lee Ahn reads her memory for the 10th time and sees her dad, he steps back all shocked like “your dad is Yoon Tae Ha????” like how on earth could he not have known? How is this new information? Are we as an audience really supposed to believe Lee Ahn just wondered who Yoon Jae In’s father was for 2 years, and just heard he was some random criminal and never heard/saw a name, or asked, or researched? If her maths teacher could find out in a minute, so could he. And we all KNOW from several people that he was falsely accused and was framed!
Just because the news says so, Lee Ahn says Yoon Tae Ha is the person he detests the most in the world?! What about the man who fcking stabbed you who is most likely the same criminal who lit that fire all those years ago. I mean it wasn’t, but he’s all tied into it. And while I’m at it, after leaving her on the ground crying in the rain, and saying her dad is the worst, he goes off the grid for days, ignores her calls, leaves her on her own to get kidnapped (when he knew full well the CCTV cameras were malfunctioning where she lives & works, and was being watched by some suspicious man in black) and then after rescuing her by some stroke of luck, he never once apologises????
Look, I understand he had to direct his anger somewhere and everybody blamed her dad, so changing the image you have of someone you’ve hated your whole life isn’t easy, but still, leaving her like that was cold. And another thing!! The MOMENT it was proven Yoon Tae Ha was framed, someone should be making the efforts to get her dad out of prison!! Or at LEAST tell the poor man that his innocence is proven! He literally just tried to commit suicide.
Anyways then the plot continues to go sideways, along with the police’s continued incompetency. How did they manage to lose him when he was handcuffed in a police-car, I still don’t understand that. Twice! Why would, when receiving a text with the kidnapper’s face, you let a possible suspect go and drive away, and THEN look at the picture sent. Jesus christ, is lieutenant Nam (Yoon Jae In’s superior) the only one with a brain in the force?
The romance which was at least a part of the story originally is just tossed to the side for the rest of the show, which considering is the only saving grace of the show, is a pretty dumb move. But alas, I must push on to get closure for this bs. Time to watch the rest of Keeping up with the Kang’s and their psychotic family drama.
And even as they as they close up all of the loose ends on the final episode, the feeling of dissatisfaction did not cease.
Everyone’s dumb, the end.

It's a good series.
I love it.
i don't know what else to write. And i dont want to go in depth cuz i might spoil yall so i recommend to watch it.
I couldn't get over the drama for like a week or 2. Sorry i have to filled out 500 words. i mean the main leads are rookies but the drama turn out to be amazing. i just love the drama. Though i wish that there will be a little more romance but the connection between them is still strong.

I like the over-the-top energy level in the music, as well as our four main leads for their own complexities. Love Park Jin Young's character as Lee Ahn, obviously. I came over this show from The Devil Judge because I'm impressed by him and would never miss the chance to watch him act. Not only does he portray that very light-hearted, very youthful energy very well but he also has a couple hard-hitting moments. There is one where he finds a puppy and brings the puppy home and I legitimately teared up. Another thing, since he needs to make skin-to-skin contact to pick up a psychometry, he always wears long baggy sweater sleeves that passes his hands. I just think it’s a nice detail that explains his personality that he's not picking up psychometry randomly while he's living his day-to-day life.
The story was interesting and also heartbreaking. I caught myself questioning so many things throughout... Although I enjoyed the conflicts, a few dark and gruesome scenes were hard to watch. I got a bit bored by the ending because the suspense felt rather flat and dull. I'm glad that we somewhat got a hopeful ending, though. To sum up, the drama is worth watching for the original plot as well the skilled actors, but could have been much better plot-wise.

So, the first part of the drama was really tiring to watch. We were introduced to the characters and the main hero's past story and abilities. And then, the drama jumps into the future, where the two leads meet again, under different positions this time. The development of the romance took place during that time. But, the romance was weak and didn't have the strong vibes that it needed to keep the interest high.
The best part was when the mystery started being revealed. The serial killer and the backround stories were interesting and entertaining. However, to reach that point you have to go through the boring first part unfortunately.
Finally, the performances were good, especially from the second lead.
So, 4.5 because this drama could have been really good, but the execution didn't help it thrive and it just ended up being another boring drama.

Story: First of all, I didn't like how they made this drama with comedy in the beginning only to never return to it for the rest of the drama. It was definitely a darker atmosphere for majority of the episodes. I like a good laugh and I like a good mystery or a dark story but I prefer either it being one or the other. The mystery solving in this drama was pretty interesting however I felt like the writers missed some crucial scenes that should've been filmed and shown, you know to show the importance of that character or situation.
Acting/Cast: I love all of the cast in terms of their acting. I just felt like it was unfair for certain characters that didn't get much screen time but a story was shown about them. While I get there's more screen time for the main leads, sometimes their scenes are just not interesting to watch, compared to say the second leads. Romance from the leads, well... there's something but I've seen better but this is definitely not the worse though.
Music: Some decent OSTs but I just felt like it wasn't played much in the drama itself so the OSTs aren't that memorable for me.
Rewatch: It's okay to watch for the first time but now that I know what happens and how it turns out, I likely wouldn't watch it again just based on how the writers handled this drama overall.

So much wasted potential
I didn't particularly care for this one. I didn't feel the attraction between the leads, she seemed so much older than him. The lead male was just too cocky. The story line was okay, but some of the names were so close, it was hard at times to tell who they were talking about. I don't mind slow moving if there is a point to it, but this one needed a good editor. I found myself fast-forwarding through a lot of this, just to finish it. The ending was rushed and lackluster. It's hard to write enough to get my obligatory 500 characters because I was so un-impressed.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

He is Psychometric is a Korean supernatural mystery thriller drama that touched upon human trafficking, alexithymia and the flaws of the justice system. The drama is about a boy (Lee Ahn) who got the power of being able to read memories from people's minds after getting a head injury from a large apartment building arson, and a girl (Yoon Jae In) who's father was framed and sentenced for the arson. They team up to solve the apartment building arson and to exonerate Jae In's father. The cast was great. The male and female leads had chemistry but I liked some of the side characters more. The writers wrote Lee Ahn as too much of an airhead for my taste and they kept reminding us of that to the point that it was starting to get a bit annoying. The music was good and fit the drama. Overall, I would recommend this drama but in my opinion there were definitely some areas in the drama that could have been better. It's a dark drama that is not too dark so people who don't usually enjoy watching dark dramas can watch it also. Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
My Thoughts
The actors portrayed their characters phenomenally, especially Park Jin Young and Kim Kwon. The plot was also extremely captivating with a lot of twists and turns and unexpected surprises (I binged about 8 episodes in one day). I personally didn't like the music choices, but it wasn't the main focus of the show, so I didn't mind every much, and before I had even finished the series, I was already thinking about the fact that I would definitely be re-watching He Is Psychometric again at some point. I really enjoyed this series, and I cried at least four times in the last few episodes.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
As for the cast, it was great. Kim Kwon pulled off his role brilliantly. Dasom really changed my perspective of her and I finally watched her outside her idol persona.
Overall, a good drama and worth your time if you're looking for something short with a bit of substance.

The best part of the drama by far is the acting. I can admit that I am extremely biased toward the lead actor Park Jinyoung. I am a huge Kpop fan, especially GOT7 and even more-so Park Jinyoung. If you like GOT7/Jinyoung this drama is really good and I think you will like it. Kim Dasom is also an idol (though SISTAR has disbanded) and her character/acting is also really good. I've seen more than one drama with Kpop idols as actors/actresses and in this drama Park Jinyoung and Kim Dasom do a fantastic job. Honestly all the actors/actresses did a fantastic job and I'd say that the character development is the most interesting part of the drama.
Because the show is a mystery drama it's easy to argue the rewatch value is low, but as someone with a low understanding of the Korean language I had a better grasp at the plot after watching it a second time.
The OST is also really good. My favorite song is "Take" by Jus2.
Overall 10/10, would recommend!

This drama has plenty of good aspects. Romance, Suspense, Comedy, Supernatural elements, and more. This drama was more fast-paced and revealed enough information to give you an idea of what's going to happen next if you paid enough attention, and that was one of the more negative things about this drama. There was rarely and suspense and anticipation for me, but nonetheless, I enjoyed this drama quite a lot.
The cast is amazing for this drama! The actors did an amazing job portraying their characters and gave a good impression of them. The two main leads were fascinating throughout the drama and continued to show their acting growth, which I loved.
The OST's are loveable, and I sometimes still listen to them.
Overall, this is a good drama to watch. I recommend it.
