Great FL - otherwise meh
It's been a long time since I've seen a drama with a female lead that I really enjoy as a person. No flailing, overly clumsy/stupid moments, copious amounts of self-pity, lacking self-esteem, etc., etc., etc. Instead, she knows what she wants and has a clear sense of self and, most importantly, boundaries (something that seems sorely lacking in dramaland). The other women in this drama are pretty cool too and have their own sense of self that isn't dependent on the men around them. Plus, I enjoy Xing Fe (Mo Mo) and her acting.Otherwise, the story and other characters are meh for me. I'll continue watching it because it's light-hearted and nice to play in the background while I'm doing other things. What's most unfortunate for me is the male lead's acting - if he were on par with Xing Fe, I'd be more invested.

O casal passa bastante tempo junto, há muita interação entre eles, cenas engraçadas, meigas, alguns desentendimentos as vezes né kkkkk enfim, um prato cheio pra deixar nosso coração quentinho. Recomendo.

I have never finished a romance Chinese drama but I have high hopes for this one.
1) The chemistry between Momo and Gu Wei Yi actually exists. I know, and it doesn't seem like the actors are trying to force the chemistry. As I am only 8 episodes in, there is no 'everyone falls for the main girl' AND LET ME TELL U I WAS SO DONE WITH THIS TROPE IN CHINESE DRAMAS. (a great reason as to why I never finish them). Also, the feelings so far have developed rather naturally. It isn't like 'ooh mysterious handsome man lays eyes on the clumsy girl and realises his love for her'. Again, another trope is seen in A LOT of East Asian dramas, I must say. If you enjoyed the Japanese movie LDK or the Korean drama 'Because this is my first life', this is a great drama to watch (please avoid Good Morning Call at all costs).
2) It is not dragged out. The pace has been relatively consistent and THERE are ONLY 24 EPISODES NOT 50. I've never finished Chinese dramas because they pace things out so long. What can be done in 30 episodes should not be dragged out into 50.
Also, so far its been a really nice drama? There is no 'oh I scraped my knee because my dog ate my homework' which I've seen a lot in Chinese dramas or petty competition between leading male characters (so far). Also, the characters are relatable. The character of the protagonists is very well portrayed in their actions and decisions. Whoever wrote/directed this, did a good job in supplementing the main plot.
Also, the characters have depth. The director uses film techniques like flashbacks that add substance to the characters and this is key. Not to mention, the humour is good and laughable. Also, I don't know what the rest of the drama would be like as there is only so much you can predict from the first 8 episodes, so my stance could change. This is why I haven't given it a 10 out of 10 but I highly recommend this drama.

The characters in *"Put Your Head on My Shoulder"* are well-developed and relatable. Si Tu Mo, played by the charming Shen Yue, is portrayed as a lovable, somewhat naive young woman navigating the transition from student life to adulthood. Her character's growth throughout the series is heartwarming and believable. Gu Wei Yi, portrayed by the reserved and charismatic Lin Yi, evolves from a distant and focused individual into someone who learns to open up and embrace love. The chemistry between the leads is palpable, adding depth and authenticity to their evolving relationship
*"Put Your Head on My Shoulder"* is a delightful romantic comedy that offers a heartwarming and humorous take on love and personal growth. With its engaging characters, charming storyline, and balanced mix of romance and comedy, the series is a refreshing watch for fans of the genre. It successfully captures the essence of young love and the challenges of navigating adulthood, making it a feel-good addition to any drama series collection.

Pleasantly Surprised
I was hesitant to watch this drama fearing it might be another rinse and repeat youth drama but it surprised me. It really wasn't like that at all. I found most of this drama very much enjoyable. I love the ML's bouts of subtle and not so subtle jealousy. There are a fair bit of laugh out loud moments as well. The only negative I have is that it became a bit slow in last 4-5 episodes making rewatching a bit questionable.Overall though the drama is very sweet and the characters are lovable.
Would recommend.

Sweet and calm
This is a very sweet and relaxing drama. No breakups and no misunderstandings.I really like xing fei as an actress, she can be serious and comical at the same time.
Even though the ML is a geek/scientist type of guy he realizes his feelings immediately and is there for her when she needs it.
The FL is not the typical pretty-but-silly. She is witty and independent.
The music was nothing special for me but it fit the drama well.
I would definitely recommend this drama if you are into sweet and funny love.

In this drama, Si tu mo who is the main female lead had a crush on fu pei since high school and she want to be forever with him and she thought that they both will get together in their college. But, things didn't went as planned. Fu pei is shown as a person who didn't accept his feelings and thus thinks that no one like him or he pretends to be not liked by anyone. So, every time he ignores si tu mo's feelings, but destiny had something else for si tu mo when on the first day of college Fu pei and si tu mo's bike accidentally hit Gu Wei yi' s bike and In between this, Si tu mo and GU Wei yi's bags got exchanged and that was the turn in their life.
Many things happened in this drama but on the more lighter note. This drama shows a beautiful element of friendship and how its so strong throughout the whole drama.
Si tu mo's character is more on a cuter and childish type while Gu Wei yi is more serious in life. There is a slow burning romance happening between both of them and its so adorable to see how they both felt jealous and fights at the silliest things. I think the last episode was rushed but it was fulfilling as I really wanted to see what would have happened next in their lives.
Watch this drama if you like :-
~ cute and childish female character
~ slow burning romance
~ a tinge of jealousy and silly fights
~ school or college life things
~ cute dorm rooms
~ pure and innocent love
~ a cute, fluffy and light drama overall

Fresh & Cute!
So if you are looking for a light hearted, bubbly, funny and immense chemistry drama then this is for you! It's like a comfort drama. There is not much going on, a slice of life with romcom which you can watch easily. The plot doesn't have much, however, it is enough to get you hooked.
My favourite thing from this drama is the character of Gu Wei Yi. He's smart, intelligent, caring, loyal and most importantly, selfless. His love for Si Tu Mo is so strong and remains consistent throughout the drama. This man is head over heels for the FL and is ready to fight with anyone who comes in his way of pursuing her. His character is so beautifully written. Lin Yi did a great job portraying him and I don't think anyone could do justice to the character as much as him.
For Si Tu Mo, she's not like the naive FLs. She is smart, outgoing, knows what do in life and her personality doesn't revolves around the ML. She falls in love later but when she does, it's beautiful. Xing Fei was great as Si Tu Mo!
The story doesn't have anything extraordinary. It's just how they start living together, then Gu Wei Yi pursuing Si Tu Mo, and how they got together. But when they get together, it becomes so fluffy that you will find yourself kicking your feet in the air lol.
Another most laughable thing is the BG voices. Dog sounds are used for Gu Wei Yi and cat sounds for Si Tu Mo. It just makes the drama so much more funny!
Overall, if you want to watch something that can make you laugh and has some good romantic scenes, This is for you!

This is a companion drama to A Love So Beautiful which was also the reason why I watched this drama. ALSB and PYHOMS share the same author and both were adapted from novels. I was curious on how this plays out which started and revolved around their college life.STORY:
The story starts with Si Tu Mo (Fair Xing) is in a dilemma as to how to live her life after graduation as she crosses paths with Gu Wei Yi (Lin Yi) who is an indifferent, serious, physics major trying to get on with his studies. They meet when STM's mother suggested for her to rent an apartment being owned by her bestfriend not knowing that GWY is the son of that bestfriend. They then start their cohabitation when they found out that they were room mates. Fu Pei (Daddi Tang) is added to the mix as STM's unrequited love who leaves her hanging and gives her hope by treating her well as a friend. Just when STM finally realizes to let go of that love, FP then goes and disrupts her life. I don't entirely know if it's due to possession and the fact that she doesn't see him in the light anymore or he really does like her. I believe that he really does like her but for me that is too late. It is quite pathetic how he goes after her after everything she endured when STM hoped he would like her that way but I guess that's how love works. You'll never know what you've got til it's gone. STM and GWY had chemistry that's for sure and ALSB is a bit lighter in terms of story than PYHOMS. The parents were supportive which I really liked. I didn't like unecessary additions to the plot where the mothers were constantly not liking their son's/daughter's partners because that would've been too cliché. The Germany part of the story is more of a filler to turn their relationship around and errr the kiss scenes are sometimes awkward so I don't know how to feel about that but all in all I'm glad they wrapped it up with them having their own family while still living in the apartment where they met.
ACTING/CAST:
I really don't have anything bad to say with the cast since they had the chemistry needed for the story. The chemistry was there but the kiss scenes were awkward that was all I have to say
MUSIC:
Music is a big factor for me but unfortunately, this drama's OST didn't stick at all.
REWATCH VALUE:
Maybe I'll re-watch this if I don't have anything to watch. Maybe I'll watch this and just play this in the background for fun.
