On the day before Jong Woo starts working at a new company, he moves into a shabby place named Eden Studio where the residents are given their own small room, but share the kitchen and bathroom. From the first day in the studio, he gets annoyed by his strange neighbors and some pounding noise from upstairs.

For as long as I've been watching KDramas, OCN has been extremely reliable when it comes to thrillers, and here they are again, setting up what I expect to be yet another great show. The performances are all fantastic, the main conceit of the show (the apartment complex) is engaging, and all the neighbors have me excited to see what they'll do next. Not only that, but the show is very pretty (in a dank, murder-y sort of way). The color grading is gorgeous and lends a film-like quality to the show. The fact that the camera is allowed to move wherever it wants also allows the creators to really develop the claustrophobia of the space, as well as the sense that you can never tell from what angle someone might be watching you. I'm super excited to see just how Lee Dong Wook's character fits into the story, and I look forward to the next episode.
before the ML goes crazy, i might turn one first LOL. creepy asf!
"I'm questioning my sanity for watching this. Like, man, this might mentally damage me. Lee Dong Wook's sexiness can save me but other than that, man, this surely will"."Siwan + dongwook + hyunwook in one drama yall! Idk but jongwoo's character is somewhat relatable for some reason. His character is such a curious one, such a dangerous type of character. The other tenants are creepy asf. The last scene wherein all of them came out into their room was literally creepy. This is surely gonna be deadly hell out of ride. The pilot episode was already screaming creepiness and mysterious vibes. The stuttering guy having a twin was surprising (for me at least), this is surely gonna cause trouble soon".//YEAH. THIS IS THE KIND OF DRAMAS THAT CREEP THE HELL OUT OF MY EVERY SINGLE CELLS.the first 20 minutes of this episode, we got to see the sad reality of urban poverty. i have seen this issue addressed in documentaries but i think this is the first time i am seeing it in a drama. usually when the genre has a bit of romance, even if the house is worn down, they still managed to make it look clean/pretty. but here everything looks so worn down, tired, creepy as hell and ugly, it was quite a shock for me to watch something like it in a k-drama. in a k-movie, most likely a more common sight.the ML himself seems like someone with trauma issues stuck in a very bad place, so i wonder to what level of crazy is this story going to push it. i am honestly scared for the next.
I have a short time watching Korean dramas but I think this series will became a perfect drama for me because I'm a super huge fan of thriller and crime, so I am hopeful that I will continue to be surprise with this amazing drama.
I can't wait to see how this will evolve, and what other surprises the plot has for us, so I will continue watching.
The cinematography, the lighting, the sound effects, the characters... all were amazing in creating one of the creepiest first episodes I have ever seen. I was totally hooked, and felt strange the rest of the night after watching it. I have a suspicion about where they are going to take this drama, and if I'm right I'll have to score the drama low because it's too overdone, but I am hopeful that they will continue to surprise with this amazing, eerie show that has me on the edge of my seat!
