First of all, I'm a really big fan of the casting. I like Lee Joo Young's role (her tomboyish nature reminded me of her character in Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo) and also the other characters are very fitting in looks as they are with their personality. I enjoy the funny scenes as well as the scenes with more depth. I'm looking forward to watching as the plot develops further. I would very much recommend watching this drama as it is very unique and interesting.

Itaewon Class à primeira vista não possui uma temática tão inovadora assim, mas no decorrer ds história a trama pode até surpreender.
Pautas pouco abordadas como transfobia e racismo, especialmente no mundo dos dramas, e a grande diversidade dos personagens me fizeram comprar esse show logo nos primeiros episódios, afinal, tudo se passa em Itaewon, um lugar famoso por ter pessoas de todos os lugares do mundo.
IC possui um dos clichês mais clássicos: triângulo amoroso, mas ainda assim conseguiu inovar já que, nesse caso, eh "ao contrário" com duas garotas e um garoto o que pode ser até interessante.
Mesmo com tudo isso o drama não me convenceu 100%, especialmente, graças aos personagens que não consiguiram fazer-me envolver por eles como eu estava esperando, mas mesmo que eu não tenha amado os personagens amei o elenco, as atuações são muito boas e as cenas tem uma estética muito linda.
O Sae Royi eh uma pessoa ética e honesta, o que eh ótimo, mas essa característica eh explorada tão excessivamente que cansa. Eu, honestamente, não consegui sentir grande empatia pela Yi Seo, sinceramente, não gostei da personagem que eh egoísta, egocêntrica e não se importa de magoar as pessoas com atos e palavras, o extremo oposto do Sae Royi e não por acaso já que ela se apaixona por ele, ok que ela evolui ao decorrer da história mas mesmo assim não consegui gostar dela. A Soo Ah foi uma personagem que até gostei, ela eh a mais "humana" em relação aos sentimentos o que me fez me envolver um pouco mais pela personagem (não que ela seja perfeita, longe disso na verdade). Os vilões Dae Hee e Geun Won são ótimos vilões e a única certeza que eu tenho eh que eh quase impossível não odia-los.
IC eh um bom drama ainda que o "esqueleto" da história seja clichê, tem uma ost maravilhosa e trata de assuntos pouco explorados nos doramas e realmente vale a pena assistir e torcer muito pro Sae Royi conseguir sua vingança.

Começo é ótimo, depois fica bem fraco
O inicio da série é mto bom, os primeiros 6~7 episódios te prendem, dai em diante fica tudo mto fraco e chato, até que no fim do epi 9 no 10 vem a cereja do bolo. Não faz sentido algum e foi ai que eu larguei.A serie me perdeu no episódio 10, quando a Yi Seo tentou dar uma aula para a diretora da Jangga, que estava lá faz uns 20~30 anos e para o amigo do Park Saeroyi que estudou economia e o caramba, em como vazar o áudio (que outra coisa totalmente idiota da serie, onde o vilão burro conta tudo o que aconteceu no meio de uma lanchonete para uma pessoa que ele acabou de conhecer) seria benéfico para ela e possivelmente fazer com que ela conseguisse os votos dos acionistas. E depois, no mesmo episódio, o presidente Jang simplesmente da um discurso de como NUNCA VIRAREI AS COSTAS PARA A MINHA FAMILIA, CONTRUI A JANGGA PARA A MINHA FAMILIA e 5 minutos depois FOI MEU FILHO QUE FEZ TUDO, ELE É O ASSASSINO. Pode ser explicado o motivo depois? Não sei, mas se sim me responde aqui pq foi o que me fez largar a serie.

Last year hotel del luna gave me this feeling that is excitement and eagerness to wait for the next episode Liked the personalities of both main lead and female lead
They both are just amazing and music is ???. You can watch itaewon class on Netflix which makes the ep available ASAP as 2 hours after airing in korea or Other third party websites such as kissaian which usually takes 6-12 hours.

Not worth of my time.
I stopped watching this drama even though i love park seo joon.i already watch a lot of korean dramas but I added this drama on my boring list.
the casting was great. park seo joon, kim da mi, ahn bo hyun and kwon na ra they are really good actors and actresses.
I know that they are trying to be different to other kdrama storyline but i stopped watching because story is getting uninteresting. i don't hate the drama, it is not the type of drama that i like.
I love their OST especially Gaho's Start Over. whenever i listen to that song it makes me feel like i should watch the itaewon class.
if i will continue this drama. it is not on my priority list. maybe i can only finish this drama for one to two months unlike for other dramas that i can finish it for less than a week

Ending messed up
From the start story was going good, no problem with that but as the story continue more of a personal fight it became a business fight, so at the end what OH SOO-AH did messedup the whole story if at the end jangga co will lead by jang geun-soo and the fight begins between them fot the no.1 spot it will become more attractive and more fun to watch but after jangga co. Went bankrupt and then he took over it it's no fun to watch, i think ending of search WWW DRAMA ending was more fun to watch than this, otherwise is was a nice drama..Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
For one, I thought it might be just another overrated drama.
And two, because I never really liked Park Seo Joon until Itaewon Class.
Wow, this role TOTALLY suits him and he slays it!
So to say this is my favorite role of his, because I never completely liked any before.
His portrayal of Park Sae Ro Yi felt contained yet so powerful.
Kim Da Mi? Wow. Bright future. I’m looking forward to her upcoming projects. I really hope she does more dramas because she’s just wow.
It is an inspiring, unique drama, with a fun story and cool music. I was impressed.

Started out well but turned out annoying
the start of this drama I really loved the cast and the story and the whole aesthetic of the show, the character and issues brought to screen was done really well but towards the middle everything turned south, the story writer really messed up .....ahhhhh. What annoyed me the most was character development of pretty much all the characters, it could have been sooo much better instead they dragged the characters and story to be stuck in this cliché love triangle and the bright characters in the starting of the show are then shown as just jealous and pathetic losers. The story went from a group of these amazing young people working so hard to achieve a goal and how wanting to seek revenge can bring out all sorts of things from a person to this pathetic love story. eww. I love watching park see joon and he did a great job along with all the other actors but cannot believe how they thought the ending story line was good enough to bring to the audience, I just can not like this drama, I tried to finish it but I just can't continue watching it.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

During this global pandemic, I found myself watching Itaewon Class and I realized that everything else did not matter anymore because Park Saeroyi is the only man that matters today and tomorrow.
The characters are compelling, the plot is well written, the soundtrack is amazing.
I do not have any complaints, this was truly great.
Also the side characters were great and I am so happy they talked about trans people and racism in SK.

A few think this show is overhyped but I personally strongly disagree, I think everyone should watch it to see how they feel about the show but I think it's a masterpiece. Itaewon Class has changed my life's perspectives.

A quick review...
Wow people really get into big write up reviews, like it was an assigned something something word essay. Anyways, don't expect a great ending. I enjoyed the protagonists and the story, but the antagonists seemed underdeveloped. Some of the dialog got me so bored I would fall asleep at one or two points in the middle of each of the middle and ending episodes The ending seemed so peculiarly disconnected that the storyline seemed to be taken over by another writer or something, just to get the final episodes over with. Did a junior high school student take over the story ending? This lost 1.5 stars because of the last two episodes. It was a very good but extremely flawed drama!
I watched Itaewon Class, and although the story isn't exactly original, it was told in a unique and special way. I was initially drawn to the show because of the cast, but what I loved the most was the unique vibe of the characters and the world the writer created. The drama felt so woke that I seriously wondered if it was a Kdrama or a typical American show. It starts out as a motivational story of misfits coming together to fulfill their epic revenge plans, and in the last few episodes, it focuses on romance, which felt a bit forced even though I did enjoy the couple. The villains started as run-of-the-mill entitled characters but became more over-the-top and cartoonish, especially Jang Geun Won. The ending was poorly handled, feeling like things just happened instead of following a coherent narrative flow. The saving grace might be the main character, who is extremely likable, even though at times he felt like a lucky idiot, and I say that with love.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
