The Bridal Mask (2012)

Both sageuks tell the story of smart characters who became powerful through their own abiity. They can't be categorized as evil people but also not as good ones, either. Excellent cast and character development!

Similarities:

Differences:
In Bridal Mask the eldest brother hides his resistance activities from his siblings, also there's a love triangle between both brothers and their love interest.

- A male lead who starts off as a selfish man who only wants to survive and goes through a lot of changes, and eventually secretly involves through the resistance
- A female lead who despises him at first and is involved in a resistance movement
-It’s about the same timeline, but in different countries, with a rebellion happening
-The mâle lead and his sweet, innocent best friend eventually become enemies, notably due to their love for the same woman and a pledge of revenge from his best friend who turns into a psycho

Both story take place at the same period of time and deal with resistance against japanese occupation. The relationships develop in a quit similar way. The lead person goes undercover and sacrifice things for the mission.
I felt like Rookie Agent Rouge is a kind of female version of Bridal Mask.

Both dramas are about the main characters hiding thier identity and carrying out justice during a politically turbulent period in Korean history.

Masked men in search of justice and to investigate in secret without anyone knowing..............................

War/Action, jealousy, love, suspense and excellent acting beautiful script all are qualities of "too late to say i love you" and i believe "bridal mask" doesn't come short except for that fact that "too late to say i love you" has way more romance. main characters are very similar.

both have a war at the end. set around the same time as world war 2. main characters work for the police force or law enforcement department. one of the male leads ends up following their own conscience instead of the law.

I recommend this both drama because , Male lead and Female lead
try to solve problem
In one drama explosion and another student murder/suicide

Kdrama. Friendship duo turn sour but full with ups & down. Character development, u won't guess who's good who's evil.

If you enjoyed this drama you will also enjoy Joo Won's other project (Bridal Mask). Although is not a romantic drama it holds a lot of history and it's really really good. Personally i like to watch different dramas and movies from the same actor to judge him or her better as an actor.

You'll really get his full charm with this action-historical drama.

Both dramas take place during Japan's emperial rule over Korea, and are packed with intrigue, humanity, sacrifice and love. Different Dreams is set in the 1920s, while Gaksital is set in the 1930s.

They both has this country saving mood and also they somehow create similar feels. Both has good friends having different ways on their journey, though Gaksital is less focused on that
