i personally loved this version more than the jap version since i am really into romance . i admit i hesitated to watch this drama becoz of the female lead but TRUST me i was really impressed by her acting skills and i think she is the best version of the character portrayed. you will really start liking her as the ep go on. as for wu chu. his acting is just amazing!! it really feels like he is in love with her and i like the fact that he is not too stiff like the other character in jap n korean version . he was quite naughty in this . the romance scenes are really good. JUST WATCH IT!!!!!!

So, I have watched all the possible Hana Kimi dramas and have read the manga MANY times. (the only manga series I own) This wasn't a terrible adaptation, it was just really quirky for what Hana Kimi actually is. I feel like it was over the top and that it wasn't how Mizuki is in the manga. If I forget that it's Hana Kimi, it's an okay drama.
I think that for any Hana Kimi lovers out there, watch the Japanese version or even the Korean version with Minho
