Waste of time. Made me so upset that i created an account to leave my first review.
The plot was interesting but it sunk during the second half. Last episode was an extreme disappointment and left me more upset than any drama Ive seen in a couple years at least.I felt angry after watching it, and extremely disappointed.
This drama sucks and is a major disappointment and waste of time. Seems like a lot of people agree.
The swap up at the end was a huge disappointment. Like wtf!!!
I happily binge watched till the last couple episodes and the disappointment seeped into the last. The sister was a totally weird spin too...
She ended up with the wrong guy.
Save yourself from watching this drama...
The actors were great, its just that the ending and part of the plot sucked.
The only good part was where she got pregnant and the twist... But even the revelation of who the twist actually was...
Was just stupid and didnt make sense.

I don't have anything against the actors, I think they did well in the drama. They expressed the emotions and portrayed their characters well. I think what makes it low rated is the pacing of the story. It was really hard to watch, since I started it long ago but I just finished it this year 2023. It is not an interesting korean drama.

It's Your Choice to Abort or to Keep Watching It
At last, I've finally completed this drama. If I will rate it as a whole, it's an average drama in my opinion. Not interesting enough to start or to finish, unless you choose to give it a chance. But to be fair, there were some scenes that fit my taste and some support characters that I found likeable. If you're a curious one and are willing to find out, feel free to watch it without much expectations.
• I'd like to repeat the above warning, if you don't want SPOILERS, PLEASE DO NOT READ BEYOND THIS LINE •
When I first read the news about this movie, having Im Soo Hyang as the lead was somewhat a surprise for me; I expected someone younger. But then considering Korean culture, I guess hers is the age acceptable to talk about such issues as Woo Ri's.
As I've mentioned in some comments, I rooted for Kang Jae at the beginning but towards the middle, I hesitated because situations were pointing away from him. I actually thought Woo Ri won't end up getting married, but that would seem the most predictable out of all possible endings. I'll talk more about this later.
Themes of certain scenes were to my taste, like how Woo Ri's family's Catholic faith was expressed so perfectly imperfect, it was relatable. I also liked how they showed Woo Ri's dad making such effort to become part of the family, without having to force his way in. I liked how the hunt for Chairman Kim ended in an unpredictable way but a hidden daughter suddenly showing up was not exactly a good idea. But it somehow worked. Ma Ri / Mal Ja's character development is also something I liked. It's just sad she didn't have a happy ending.
I felt happy that Kang Jae was Woo Ri's endgame. While I'll be happy just the same if she decided not to marry, I'm glad both Woo Ri and Kang Jae's sacrifices from the beginning paid off. Raphael gets to be a dad so it's still a happy ending for him. Other matters were wrapped up nicely except for the "bed scene". Haha.
Anyway, just watch it once you make your choice to give it a chance. It won't be a waste with all the great actors in it, anyway.

Not Good Enough
Korean Drama " Woori The Virgin " is the remake of the American-Latin series, giving it a Korean twist, with the Korean family dynamics, the chaebol culture, and the cheesy twists. The drama follows loosely the original plot, with the prompt of the pregnancy taking another turn and giving the creators new ground to work on. Thus, the drama focuses more on the family values, even when it came to the villains and the big criminal case. Those family dynamics were probably what saved the drama most of the time and gave some comical relief with the side stories.
On the other hand, the love triangle was boring and tragically cheesy, with little chemistry and many cliche twists.
As for the performances, they were all great by everyone in the cast.
The cinematography also did a good job with the mood of the drama, keeping it light and fluffy.
So, overall, 3 out of 10.

Not even Noah's ark can carry these sexless virgins
The general impression is justified, however, its perceived problem is far from being the only problem. The drama is a good case study to be examined for newcomers in the industry, especially screenwriters. These 14 episodes were absolutely marvelous in stacking up a web of irrecoverable problems. I'm not sure if it takes a talent to achieve that or the lack of it. I didn't major in theater, literature, or creative writing, but I can certainly conclude that Jang Ah Mi, the writer of this abomination, is an inept writer. She had no idea what she wanted to do or accomplish. She even had a reference from the source material to help. Writers like her make me reluctant to get into shows with a screenwriting debut credit.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

This drama had a promising start. The first few episodes, I was actually looking forward to the next episode when I started watching this. However, I'm not sure why the drama suddenly turned into a mystery drama. In my honest opinion, it was really unnecessary since the main plot itself is already eventful. Honestly, I think if they just stuck to the main plot it would have been a tad bit nicer. But actually despite this, I believe they did a really good casting. The actors were able to portray their roles really well. They all had good chemistry together. Really wish it was written better.
Anyhow, that's it for me. Congrats to the team! Unto the next one!

WASTE OF TIME
There are better K-dramas out there. Won't recommend watching this drama. But if you're curious why, I'll tell you why.1. I don't feel the chemistry between the main leads. It's confusing till the end whom the FL going to choose. So both men receive lukewarm feelings from FL.
2. The villain seemed mysterious at the beginning but once we unravel the truth it got boring. The way the villain was caught was way too easy, like how did she even manage to kill so many people and be so mysterious for so long?!
3. The storyline/plot is ridiculous.
4. Too many cheesy and cringey moments.
5. The ending was stupid, using a public bus? What is this a comedy show suddenly?
I could probably keep going but I doubt people would waste their time reading till the end, so I think I made my point. Don't waste your time on this drama. I hope this can help people to not suffer through this drama. :D

I regret not dropping this drama…
I had already dropped it but decided ehh, let me just see how it ends. It had potential. I was interested for a while but eventually just everything somehow fell apart. Let’s just say I skipped through it a lot. I did come to like the main characters but the acting wasn’t it for this one. It felt awkward many times and I didn’t connect. There wasn’t that spark for the romance, or that thrill for the mystery…the flow was messy too. I will highlight tho that I appreciate her final choice… he was always there for her. It was also nice how it highlighted the family bond. But yeah, I wouldn’t recommend this drama at all. I’ve been upset over endings before but this is more than upset at the ending, it’s more like overall. Which is why I’m mad at myself for not dropping it. I think this is the first drama I seriously regret watching. Hopefully this teaches me how to drop dramas with less attachment lol. Anyway, if you do, watch at your own risk hahaVond je deze recentie nuttig?

Worst kdrama ever
Wort kdrama ever. It's the worst remake ever. U all got my hopes up that it was Raphael but what it was Kang. Are u expecting the baby to be calling the two of them FATHER. The most annoying part was on the wedding day when they arrested her husband to be and she said '' I have found my husband " that part offed me. It's worst than the film it remade. In the original she was to end up with Raphael. But in the fake she ended up with Kang. This is rubbish Wort kdrama ever. It's the worst remake ever. All I have to say...
I wish I had read the reviews before investing time in this collection of scenes - I can't call it a drama. The FL was the most inconsistent and immature character I have ever watched on a screen. The SML (detective) gave me vibes that made me question his portrayal as a detective. His emotions and actions show nothing of being an 'effective' detective, which he was trying hard to establish.
The ML could have been better.
FL's mum is just a tragic case in the screenplay. I think the FL's Grandma and the ML's dad were the only ones I enjoyed watching.
All in all - I want my time back.
:(

Disappointed
Last year, when I heard that Jane The Virgin was getting a korean adaptation I was happy because it's one of the rare american show that I finished. But then I completly forgot about it, until 6 days ago. Iwas updating my rating list and I saw Woori The Virigin and I was shocked with the rating. I couldn't be that bad right ? How can this get a lower rating than Love Alarm. After I watched and finished the kdrama today, here's my feeling towards it.I never rated a drama below 6 stars. I'm someone that rarely dislike romance drama, because romance is my thing. The plot can be meh and I will still stay for the romance. Also my toxic trait is to finish kdrama until the end even thought, it's trash (there's exceptions lol). BUT this drama was truly a waste of time. It started so good, but became boring around episode 6-7.
(SPOILER)
Lowkey I just hate it because she didn't end up Raphael, but the with one who at first didn't want the baby and wanted her to abort. I know it's the most realistic ending, it's just that I don't watch kdrama for them to be 100% realistic like in real life. I wanted that adventurous romance with Raphael (gotta be honest I cringed so hard when sang for her and when he proposed with a choregraphy).
