i love them but the storyline could be deeper
I love this couple and series so much and it has brought me so much joy watching it. I started listening to thai music because of the memories it all brought back of this series and it has become a safe space for me. However, whilst I would rewatch it since I'm a simp for them both like that, looking back, the story line is poor and I don't really understand how they managed to get a second season out of this. The relationship in my opinion doesn't seem to go anywhere series or develop in any way and considering the number of episodes I feel like they could have definitely done more. I would 100% recommend this series as I think it is a must in the BL series community, but don't expect much... depth?Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Definitely innocent and cute, has it's minuses
I had to watch this series two times to enjoy it fully.First time I watched it I thought it was cute and all but nothing really special. But it was only because I was new to lakorns.
Now I've seen it second time I think this is really adorable and wholesome. I got the chance to analyze it again and this time do it properly.
Let's start with something light. The music is great, and the fact that the band is a real thing is giving more vibe to whole series. Thanks to this there is a lot of songs played and not just a few or even just one. BL series usually don't have any advanced soundtracks. It is definitely a big plus. The band had songs with matching vibe to the whole series.
The chemistry between actors is cute and conversations don't feel awkward. However, there is one big BUT. Their conversations and little touches may be cute and adorable, BUT... there is a lack of physical touch. There are indeed a few kisses, but they ain't it. I know that physical things are hard to do and for actors it may be uncomfortable, but you know... The series would be a lot better with just a little bit more. It's not that there are tons of horny fans who want to see them do weird things, but without these the relationship often feels forced. They tried to bring in more of this content, like the bouqet of condoms (which was kinda awkward), but it would never be enough to get the realationship to be more real. You want it or not, physical touch is needed.
Whole plot was very adorable, apart from this lack of touch it was enjoyable and comforting. It is a very well-written series with funny moments and a lot of plot twists. Well, unfortunately there is another BUT...
I enjoyed it ALMOST all the time through the series. But there was just one big mess at the end. I know the things with trust are sometimes needed to show that it's not easy to be in a relationship yet it was just SO HARD to watch this whole fuss about lack of trust and... Let's just say it is a part of this series where you have to endure it. Almost every series have this moments when it's uncomfortable to watch, so ... It started very strong and gave a very good impression yet they just can't add useless drama at the end to just make it more "interesting" some series are just meant to go without any trust issues and all. Since Tine and Sarawat were both innocent it doesn't make sense with this illogicaly large jealousy. I had to skip the last 3 episodes to just see the happy end and not stress myself f watching them.
I like this series very much, but after seeing A LOT of BL lakorns I must say, it had great potential, but could be done better. Of course I recommend watching it and creating your own opinion, becuse it's seriously great at the beggining. I guess it's good to see it when you haven't seen a lot of series yet and you don't have big experience.

overrated
I do not understand how this series got the hype it did. yes, it might have gone well as a bromance and I would have been able to overlook some things had it not been a bl. But being a bl, I was so disappointed ?. I actually really enjoyed he first couple of scenes, but once they were officially in love, that's where it all went downhill. A couple doesn't need to show sex scenes and kisses all the time to prove to us that they are in love. Dramas such as a shoulder to cry on and cherry magic prove that! HOWEVER a chemistry has to exist between the main leads, and unfortunately they did not serve. AT ALL. They didn't act like a couple, and that could be felt. It was a fun series.
this is a fun series, but very much lacking in development. It Felt flat a lot of the time. Sadly for me felt more like bromance than boy love. The actors are good, but the pairing just did not fit too well. I enjoyed the series a lot, there are funny moments and a lovely story of development, but lost focus and drive a lot. The side characters were more fun to me than the leads. Overall its a fun series but I could not invest in this one or part two. So much wasted potential
Kind of a late review, but here's what i thinkThis drama started off so strong, the characters actually had chemistry, the storyline seemed pretty well planned out, what could go wrong? Well as this series proved, everything could turn to shit in less than a single episode.
This had so much potential that just went down the drain, and i truly believe the only reason it got so popular is because the actors are appealing to the eye, and I can't confidently say that I don't believe they were cast simply for that reason.
Win's role as Tine deserves some recognition seeing as it was one of his first ever roles. Bright on the other hand; i can't tell if his acting seemed so standoff-ish because the director instructed him to act that way or because he simply didn't have the ability to act like he wasn't put off by the mere idea of kissing someone of the same sex.
They started off strong in the first couple episodes, and i can't exactly pinpoint where but at some point all the chemistry between them just evaporated into thin air, never to be seen again.
The kissing scenes were absolute abominations as well. It felt like the directors out a gun to their head and said "kiss or die". I recently rewatched it hoping that i just overreacted the first time i saw it and there was some chemistry left but it was even worse because all i could think about when they had to kiss was that it looked like those videos where someone brings a pocky to a party and gets people of the same sex to bite it until they "kiss". It just looked forced.
I will give some credit to the actors however, because they seemed much more comfortable when they were acting in F4 and that just reinforced my belief that they used BL as a way to get popularity and then when they got enough money from it they would just act in a straight drama. As a queer person, i'm tired of seeing these actors use, what is for most of us the only representation we get, as a stepping stone for them to gain more popularity. I wouldn't be surprised if the only reason they haven't done the same dumb shit Krist did on instagram is because they have so many social media managers that wouldn't let them post it.
In conclusion the show was ass and the only reason i'm not giving it a 0 is because of Green.

Now I get why this got tons of people through the pandemic
I have to admit I've avoided this show for the longest time because reviews aren't the kindest, but I roughly heard about it because it was very famous where I'm from and even my friends who don't watch or even know BL have watched this. That being said, I had the lowest expectations for this show and only got to it when I had nothing else to watch.And I actually really enjoyed it! While this is not as groundbreaking as one would expect from all the hype (tbh I don't think it's meant to be one anyway), it's not that bad. Granted the acting was pretty weak especially for Bright (not for Win though, he was really good), but everything else works. The plot is simple, the actors are a feast to the eyes, the comedy is golden, the music is PERFECTION, and the skinship is not over the top. It's definitely a pick-me-up whenever you're in a bad mood and has indeed become something I was looking forward to after a stressful day. Now I get why people latched to this during a difficult and unfamiliar time such as the pandemic.

Not to expect anything big from the plot itself. The characters lacked intimacy.Introduction of unnecessary characters to stir up jealousy.
The side couples had little to no role in the story and again lacked intimacy.
I personally skipped through most of the scenes during the final few episodes.
It started out really strong and I was hopeful I might get to see some really good chemistry but this drama failed me. I don't know how to explain but this drama kind of left an empty void in my heart....

Homophobic stereotypes but in a BL?
Definitely not a bad series, but fairly mediocre. The two leads kinda seem like best bros instead of a couple, which defeats the whole purpose of the plot.Normally, I like a good fake dating plot. But the reason behind the fake dating scheme they come up with seems oddly homophobic? The stereotype of "predatory gay guy" coming on to a guy that has already rejected him in hopes of him becoming gay is just gross and unnecessary.
Then, once we start the fake dating plot, they are supposed to develop real feelings for each other (duh, that's the whole point) but it feels like that never really happens and they just keep pretending. Overall, fairly enjoyable but not one of my favorites.

it's bad but very entertaining
2gether was my very first BL series so it has a place in my heart. Is it good? not really lol. The main couple is very cute and I love them together. There are some annoying sounds, lines, characters and secondary couples that I find difficult to deal with but sometimes you can laught about it. I sometimes feel like even though they date, they keep acting like they can't touch each other and I hate how they behave like children in this aspect. I heard so much about this show being amazing and I just don't get it. The two leads have no chemistry and I had a hard time believing the even like each other let alone love each other. It comes off as more of an awkward bromance and even the one kiss which I guess was supposed to convince me they love each other was totally cringe. Bad script, bad chemistry & bad acting. Some of the side characters where some what interesting but I was honestly shocked when I found out there was a season 2. Unless your just looking for back ground noise or a show you don't really have to pay attention to you can just skip it all together. Predictable Drama
Personally, this drama was a pretty basic one. When I watched this I didn't have high expectations from it. I think there was a lot of potential for it to become an average classic drama, but it didn't happen. The plot was super predictable, but at the moment I wanted to watch something light. If I were to watch it now I would've dropped it. It had the usual trivial arguments just to keep the story going. The drama would've been better if they made it much shorter, like a quick sweet romance. It's a pretty good drama if you are looking for something cliché. The cast was well chosen I couldn't think of any better than Sarawat and Tine. They portrayed the emotions of the characters well and I enjoyed watching it. I don't think I would really watch it again unless I was bored and missing them. I would recommend it if you want something simple and funny to watch though.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
