The characters were portrayed as realistic and mature and I really liked how there were no misunderstandings between the main leads and no cringey jealousy scenes. I also really liked Im Hui (Eun Seob's little sister) as she was pretty funny but loved her brother very much.
The aesthetics of this drama were so pretty and it made me want to live in a countryside in a village like this and to have a club devoted to books as well. :3

The story and the pace isn't exactly for everyone; people are naturally drawn to the flashiest love stories, extreme revenge plots, or the action-packed fight scenes - the extreme of the extremes. In the midst of all the chaos, there was a little drama that passed by like a cold winter breeze - When the Weather is Fine. Its beauty lies within the quiet moments, the slight shift of emotions, the insights, and the unspoken love of the characters. Every episode is a layer of healing, like a page in a beautifully written book. The ambience and the heart of the drama was exactly what I needed. It was serendipity; like a warm hug to my unknowingly shattered spirit. It is your comfort zone, an embrace from your loved one after a long day; it's your security blanket. That is what it made me feel.
The ending felt lackluster - I was expecting a more solid flow of stories, instead of a rushed, fast-paced yet ambiguous tone it had. I wanted the ending as a time to bid farewell to the drama, the characters, and the book club. But it didn't gave me that satisfaction and instead left me feeling confused with its open ended-ness. That will probably the only critique and disappointment I have with the drama.
It might take a long time for me to forget this drama. It truly is a drama where you will remember it during the coldest of the nights where you feel lost and broken, and also when the sunlight hits you warmly, when the weather becomes fine, in your heart.

Woah! Finishing the series feels like finishing one good inspirational book.
It's like I'm watching and reading a book at the same time.It's a breath of fresh air. I was hesitant to watch this series due to some reviews saying it's too slow and boring. But I'll tell you, go watch it. Watch it especially if you love books and romance. The romance might be slow but damn, the chemistry is there. I really love it.
I also really love the last parts of each episodes where they shows Eun Seob's blog entry. I'd buy it if ever they publish it as a book. This is one of my faves. I also love Seo Kang Joon's eyes!!! Hayyy, I need Season 2! Please!
I rated it 9.5 overall because I am not that satisfied with how it ends. But I understood why it ended that way. Though I still wish for a better ending or maybe another Season of this masterpiece will be better!

Only downside of this drama is the female lead. I couldn't understand half of her logic behind her actions. Every other character went to phase A to phase B. But it felt like she is the same she was in her first episode.
Reluctant/unable to grow as a human.
Side characters stole the show.
Im Hwi is such a darling. That one conversation between her and Im Eun Sub has changed the whole dynamics of the character.
So kinda disappointed with the lead. But I am glad that side characters made it such a wonderful story.

J'ai regardé sur Viki en deux périodes parce que je savourais tellement les épisodes que j'avais besoin de voir la dernière partie en une seule fois sans attendre la mise en ligne. La prise de vue est magnifique, la mise en lumière, l'attention aux petites choses de la vie quotidienne. J'ai adoré l'ambiance de cette douce vie à la campagne, le soin apporté aux personnages secondaires, l'humour dans les scènes de groupes... C'était un régal pour l'âme comme pour les yeux. La tristesse se mue en force quand la parole se libère entre les personnages, lesquels apprennent à être bienveillants envers ceux qui leur sont chers. Le cadre principal des scènes intimistes est la librairie bonne nuit, et cela est un véritable atout pour la série. Les livres et les mots veillent sur les personnages et tissent des liens profonds. Cela rappelle un peu l'univers de la série romance is a bonus book. Encore une série coréenne qui m'émerveille dans sa capacité à restituer des ambiances intimistes, magnifiées par le soin apporté à l'image. Un très bon cru.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

acabei de assistir o ultimo episodio desse dorama e eu não sei o que fazer da minha vida, só o meu quarto sabe o quanto eu chorei ao longo desses 16 eps.
desde o começo eu sabia que esse drama ia se tornar o meu favorito e foi o que aconteceu, ele eh exatamente o que eu gosto, mesmo ele sendo lento eu amei ele, amei os personagens, eu super me apeguei com todos e já to sentindo uma imensa saudade.
amei ver uma das minhas atrizes favoritas, minyoung, fazendo esse papel junto com um dos meus atores favoritos, kangjoon, eles super combinaram e a quimica deles foi incrivel, pra mim eles namoram!
a historia desse dorama me cativou rapido demais, eu achei lindo o jeito como falaram sobre o amor, e amei o fato de muitas coisas terem se aproximado da realidade, um dorama extremamente necessario (pelo menos pra mim), vou sentir muita falta. to triste tchau

My bookish heart died every time they were talking about books, doing book clubs, writing books, everything. This drama was so cozy and aesthetic.
Someone would say it was slow, but it's just deep. It shows the true life. I love the fact that both of main leads were introverts, we rarely see that. Also, I missed countryside drama.
Last time I enjoyed countryside drama was more than a year ago, watching Modern Farmer. This drama is completely different from Modern Farmer, but it gives the same feeling of togetherness, happiness and family. It was beautiful.
Exactly, the word "beautiful" is a perfect word to describe this drama.

Davvero un bellissimo drama di vita quotidiana
Davvero un ottimo prodotto,mi è piaciuta molto la fotografia,i luoghi di campagna ,il cast è stato fantastico e la storia è veramente bella e poetica,mi è piaciuto molto come sono stati trattati i sentimenti dei personaggi.La storia va pian piano ma anche senza molti colpi di scena non l’ho sentito noioso.
Ho trovato Seo Kang Joon davvero bravo nella parte,stupendo come sempre.
I luoghi di campagna dov’è girato sono stupendi ed è stupendo che un drama racconti la vita di campagna anziché la solita vita frenetica di Seul,inoltre il modo di raccontare rispecchia in pieno la vita calma e a misura di uomo che si può godere in posti del genere.

Once again another drama I have anticipated for this year, it did NOT disappoint, i actually really really like this drama, the cast is like i hand picked it on the highest of keys, and i really like the plot about the girl being unforgiveable as of now. No complaints reaally except for how in the preview for episode 5 it looks like there could be misunderstanding to come from eun seob to hae won, i really hope thats not where the show takes it, but knowing all the knowledge i know about kdramas, i will not put it past the writers. And Park Min Young's acting is really good, not like in other dramas that turns to an absurdity. In my opinion I think this type of character fits with her more.
So, Seo kang joon looks great in that role, I think it fits a bit with him, he is such an actor and I have high expectations for the rest of the drama.
And she looks very cute too, and so far the chemistry between them is really good and credible.
