The only regret I have is that I can't erase my memory so I can experience this drama anew :'(.
I solemnly swear that I will try my absolute best not to wax lyrical on Xu Kai's visuals (amongst the SEA of handsome men that seem to have taken up residence within this drama.)Before watching this drama, I had seen many high reviews of it, but put off watching it because I was still hung up on You are my Hero. I spent about a week trying to find a new drama chock full of romance and kissing scenes (because as much as I loved YAMH, I felt deprived of the kisses that could have been but ne'er were between our ML and FL!), meanwhile, this amazing drama was just sitting there, waiting for me to realize that I'd skipped over a gem! Not only did Falling into Your Smile deliver on the romance, but it also heaped the kissing scenes high up and left me feeling satisfied and content.
This is a gaming romance drama like Love o2o, Go-Go Squid and The King's Avatar (which of course is sans the romance), but dare I say it was better? Before the Yang Yang fans come at me (I'm also one btw), I'll explain why I felt that it was better. The male lead, Lu Si Cheng ( Xu Kai), had the same cold and aloof demeanour Love o2o's Xiao Nai seemed to have, but I felt that he was a lot more relatable and realistic compared to the perfect and unattainable Xiao Nai. The FL, Tong Yao (WJSN's Cheng Xiao), was also a lot more substance, and a lot less fawning and meek. She was a strong character who didn't take BS from her crush just because he was stunningly gorgeous and highly popular. I loved that she gave the male lead as much as he dished out, which was severely lacking in Lo2o and GGS (too much hero worship is never a good thing ladies!) There were many cute moments between the ML and FL and he showed a lot more emotion and was a lot more playful than XN. I also found myself a lot more invested in the characters and story of FIYS. The camaraderie between the team was so beautiful to watch and there was never a time where I felt that the team viewed Cheng as this perfect god who never made any mistakes and was always right (which is the vibe I got in Lo2o). Cheng's team shouted at him when he was wrong, and he apologised and acknowledged his faults when he had messed up. I really appreciated that and it made me fall in love with Cheng a lot more.
I HIGHLY recommend this drama, I see myself rewatching it several times in the future when I need a break from a heavy and intense drama (or just when I want a drama that gives me mushy cute feels). A bonus factor is you will get a heaping truckload of visuals from sooo many guys! As generous as the casting was when it came to visuals, I'm still in awe of the visuals king that is Xu Kai. The good Lord did NOT hold back when he was creating our Xu Kai. As much as we must admit that he's not had the best time when it comes to the headlines he's made in real life, we must definitely give him props for delivering much more than us fans could ever ask for in this drama.
I'm brand spanking new to the Xu Kai fandom, but I look forward to seeing his other dramas and hope they're just as good as this one was <3.

Cute and Funny Characters
As predictable and expected each scenario was, it's super cute. The way each character interacts and develops is great.Compared to some other e-sports drama, this one discusses some of the problems/issues the industry actually faces. It's very relatable and made to easily let viewers understand. Things like parent's expectations and disapproval, post-graduation career hunting, love life in a work-heavy job (the struggles), and other business-related stuff in the industry.
I also really love the spaces they used. the base's architecture is nice.
The only downside for me is more towards the few awkward/cringy moments. When things are too planned out, it just feels like the actors are forcing it - creating a fake emotion...in other words, bad acting. This might be the director's fault as well?
There were a few episodes where the cut-off was awkward too. Like they went a second too far, ending the episode in an awkward climax.
Overall, I really love the story and style of production. Everything is really cute, especially the intros. A super cute young adult love story. I definitely see myself rewatching this again in the future. Would recommend as well :)

Worth the Watch
This drama has Rewatch all of it.The acting is superb, the comics were funny, the sport itself was good. The story is relatively predictable in the way that sports dramas are predictable.
Love the ML, he was cool and yet caring at the same time, there were no misunderstanding told it as is, the FL was well matched, and knew what she wanted. . Comedy wise, there are too many funny scenes in the drama. Too many puns, Fatty's reactions, ZGDX teammates reactions, Tong Yao and Lu Yue's immature bickering and Lu Sicheng and Tong Yao's bickering as well- I LOVE IT! Don't know much about the e-sports gaming, but the graphics were really good, and easy to understand.
The female lead is competitive, she has good gaming skills, not too optimistic and is supportive towards her enemies. She likes to give advice to her enemies when they're down or anyone else who also got the same problem as her. Overall the fl have good characteristics. The male lead is quiet, but he's the leader of the team and would always have their backs. He secretly took care of his teammates problem. He got very good gaming skills, unbeatable. He has a soft spot for the fl whenever a problem occur to her. He's straightforward and I like him for this.
They had cute chemistry between not only the ML & FL leads, but the second couple as well, and also the team involved all worked well, and did a terrific job they interacted well.
Definitely a series well worth the watch, very light and cute and funny!!

Flatlined from the very start
It's a wonder Xu Kai doesn't have a hunched back from having to carry this entire series on his back. My goodness, someone please get Cheng Xiao some acting lessons and maybe tell her to slow down on the plastic surgery cos she may forever lose the ability to emote should her face stay that frozen.If you've seen one e-sport drama believe me this will by no means give you a different story. They play, win/lose, practice, run around being cute, have to debunk several malicious rumors and finally a happy-ever-after (I would imagine since I dropped this halfway).

It's very nice and kind of what is happening today it's very pleasant and the lead actress and lead actor are perfect match. i only watched for xu kai and him alone couldn't keep me interested..
i was close to finishing this drama but I just lost interest. (I have seen the ending though)The plot didn't really interest me and I found myself first only watching for the couple and then the ML (who reminded me of landon from a walk to remember for some reason..)
I also don't like the FL actress. she's wayy to stiff and doesn't really move her face (show emotions. occasianally she does, but usually not) I've tried watching her in my heart and it just wasn't working. Let's just say you HAVE TO like the actress to enjoy this or at least tolerate her.
E sports isn't really something that interests me either.
now on to things that might be enjoyable:
- if you're interested in e sports
- like xu kai
- like bickering couples
- it's a rom com
- there are some nice scenes between the couple
- I kinda liked the second couple
- fluffy romance
I don't remember the music.. (I watched this a while ago.)
Overall 7/10. I won't rewatch. I have edited the main couple, but that's about it.

Must watch !! Really sweet and careless drama.
The thing i really like about this drama is that it was really sweet,careless and fun to watch !! I really love the characters and their personalities. It took a while for Tong Yao and Cheng to end up together since im a kdrama watcher and kdramas usually have less episodes,anyways i really like their relationship. Also i really like how Cheng kisses Tong Yao at leats once almost in every single ep,it makes me blush-Anyways yall should def watch. Also i don't really watch cdramas so this would be 1st one that i will finish and this cdrama would be really good for ppl like me who just started watching cdramas,again this drama is really wholesome and yall should watch it. :)

Me encanto , es mi dorama favorito . Simplemente te atrapa desde el primer cap tomando muy aparte la química muy linda y romántica que tienen los personajes principales a fuera y dentro de sus papeles , No faltarán risas y momentos super dulces y obviamente sus tiempos de caídas porq nada es fácil pero en si dale una sola , Una sola oportunidad y falling into your smile , Sus 2 personajes principales tan lindos y su elenco tan alegre y chistoso . It's the sweetest drama ever♥️.
I literally got butterflies in my belly which is rare when he said "not as painful as my heart". The part where the boy cries because he was not able to protect his girl really teared me up because i am not that emotional when it comes to dramas and its the first drama ever that made me tear up.There are a lot of sweet scenes and beautiful bonding with the entire team.Also the main leads were so real .I really hope there will be season 2 or another drama with the same cast.I really appreciate the entire team for presenting this beautiful drama with a lot of sweetness.You will not regret watching this.Ps-its the first time i am rating and giving a review because i really love it and i donot dare not to rate it.I have not finished the complete drama yet but i know its gonna be very good.I cannot resist myself from rating it so that many people can watch it and there will another season or another drama with the same cast.

This drama is by far my favourite. I have rewatched this drama so my times that my sister even came into my room saw Xu Kai and said is it that show again, and just left the room.The cast is so good and the dynamics between the characters is hilarious.
I love when Si Cheng came home to the base with the kitten and gave her an ultimatum that involved the kitty. The way Xu Kai just portrays Si Cheng when they are in the cinema the second time was adorable. The whole scene was so sweet and cute, his little 'hmph' when she didn't kiss him was adorable.
All the chemistry between Xu Kai and Chen Xiao is amazing they made the drama come to life and made it the best show I have watched.
I would recommend this to anyone who wants to start watching Asian dramas and this would definitely get them hooked. I watched the whole of the series in around three days and I haven't regretted it since.

One of the best Chinese dramas I've watched recently
This drama was so good that I had to write my first review on this website for it. Usually, for these type of ongoing romcoms, I would leave it till it finishes broadcasting to binge it all, but this show was so interesting from the trailer that I could not even wait till it ended to start watching!The chemistry, filming, script and plotlines to me were so perfectly done I love this show so much. The friendship and character development was so endearing to watch and I have grown so attached to every single character in this show. The main leads, Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao, did such a great job in bringing the characters to life and had SO much chemistry I was always swooning each episode. The ZGDX members, as well as the other teams, have such wholesome interactions and dynamic I got teary watching them sometimes.
I raelly liked how they showed them gaming, training and living their lives as e-sports athletes as well, instead of focusing too much on the loveline and disregarding the main theme and genre of this drama. Each actor did a very good job in this show and the humour was straight up my alley. Lu Sicheng will always stand near the top of my list of male lead characters with his personality and top-tier visuals.
Because of this show, I have found a new genre of C-dramas that I fell in love with, as well as a group of amazing actors and actresses to support. If you are considering whether to give this show a shot, I say definitely go for it! This was one of the very rare times I watched a Chinese drama ongoing despite its number of episodes, and I do not regret it at all.
Overall, a really great production! Definitely one of my favourites amongst all Chinese dramas I've watched.

I don't know why there are so many negative reviews but to me it was really an awesome and mind blogging drama. While waiting for next episodes, I have nearly watched the drama six times but I didn't get bored and can even watch it a few more time...the casting, acting, timing of events, games clips, concept everything was just perfect...all of you must watch it, don't waste my good intentions. A beautiful combination of romance, team spirit, friendship and of course the pets are really impressive as well. And most importantly, it shows how hard it is to become an eSports player by hearing the insults, bearing the interference of fans in personal life and the thirst to win after days of practising....anyway you can't understand it until you watch itVond je deze recentie nuttig?
