Season: 1

In the wake of their exposure to him, the Gifted take Time under their wing. His potential, they tell him, has been activated by the recording that pained him and it needs the aid of their tutelage to be uncovered. In that pursuit, Time's an obliging student until a conversation with Third makes him doubt his estimation of the group. (Source: MyDramaList)

We've lost a soldier

Namtarn is not back??? What is this nonsense??? I need to warm up to Time because he's getting on my nerves. At least not as much as Third. That kid needs to chill. It was awesome to watch what the gang has been doing the last year. I'm shipping KornMon. They've been through the same crap. And I'm still holding a candle for WavePang. Ok, there's a gap between last season and this one, that makes sense. Time's potential has awaken and we have a Dr. Claw puppeteering the anti-Gifted.
EDIT: what's with Wave's fashion choices this season???

Nicely executed twist

The absence of Namtan in Season 2 is nicely explained (the actress is apparently studying overseas but the character doesn't simply have an unexplained disappearance. In fact, the reason for Namtan's absence is nicely integrated with the plot). The twist in this episode, which involves what the students of the gifted class in Season 1 is planning to do, is nicely executed. Perhaps the presence of a student group that is practically just a terrorist group stretches one's credulity somewhat (but what are you expecting from a story premised on the concept of a group of students with superpower potential?). A possible political allegory aside, it would be interesting to see if the crafty director is actually behind the scenes manipulating some students.

Is it The Gifted or BLACKLIST?

There are some good points: Claire's speech at the beginning of the episode, Ohm and his potential, Punn and everything he does, the music and cinematography.
Ok, so let's get into some SPOILERS.
This plot has so many holes that I'm very disappointed in the screenwriter/s. I'm grateful they tried so hard explaining why Namtarn's not in the series but they've pushed things too far so that the explanation is confusing and a bit stupid. Why did the gifted search for allies against the director in the non-gifted class and then they hesitate when they become violent?Secondly, what's the point in adding so many lead characters if we don't even see Grace and Third is just a deus ex machina for Time to do anything in this episode? They should've given more attention to the twins instead...Thirdly, they ruined my baby Wave the worst way possible. He's not fierce, cool, badass anymore. He's just a cutie, comic relief with wifey vibes. And I can't accept such a "character development".It's really frustrating to watch if you enjoyed the first season.

Montage is gorgeous!

That opening montage is gorgeous and well-executed. However, the twins are not included (again) although they are part of the team. Also, compared to the first season, they use a lot of background music for the scenes. Exclude the obvious product placements, which unsurprisingly got a lot more, even noodles (I get used to them now after watching Lakorns for a while) the quality is that of a movie. It's wonderful to watch. "What do you call a fake noodle? An Impasta!" - Ohm
