Find Me in Your Memory (2020)

Both have the same screenwritter so you can expect a thrilling mystery and subtle yet deep romance. While one deals with memories and the other with time travel, both addresses the hardship of 'knowing too much' than an ordinary person and the pain of having to carry that with you.

There is this subtle romance between the two main leads that makes me think of both the dramas. Also, the melancholy of the story which that subtle romance springs to life.

Definitely a slow burn on both ends but the connection between the leads is undeniable.

reminds me of because both female leads experienced some kind of traumatic past that was so painful that it led them to unconsciously resort to short term memory loss as their way of coping.

The story revolves around a man with hyperthymesia, a condition that gives people the ability to remember an abnormally vast amount of their life experiences in vivid detail, and a woman who has forgotten the most important moments of her life. The two people with similar scars fatefully cross paths one day and come to love each other.

Jeong Hoon is an anchor of a news show which has the highest ratings. Jeong Hoon’s handsome face and perfect body figure make him look good in a suit. Unlike his gentle appearances, he becomes a tyrant all of a sudden and starts asking aggressive questions to whoever it is. Because of hyperthymesia, he remembers every single thing happening in 365 days a year ever since his childhood. He can’t forget the memory of the woman he loved, Seo Yeon, who disappeared 8 years ago. A rising star who attracts everyone’s attention, Ha Jin, appears in front of Jeong Hoon at that moment. Despite all the attention, Ha Jin doesn’t waver and keeps her confidence. However, she has a secret that her memory is fading away. Both shows have strong female leads ( Run on definitely has the more realistic strong female)
In both shows, the leads have really good chemistry.
Both shows have dealt with the drama aspect pretty well where it's cliched enough that it's enjoyable.
Find me in your memory is more on the melodrama side.

In both dramas the main leads start off on the wrong foot, with the male lead getting the wrong impression about the girl and then slowly falling for her despite himself. Also in both dramas, the male leads are newscasters.

Both are beautiful, romantic, slow-paced melodramas that are centered around two leads connected by a fateful tragic incident. In both the characters deal with trauma, pain and scars of the past and overcoming them by finding comfort in each other. Both dramas also have some thriller elements to them and the FL being a famous actress.

Differences: FMIYM has some romcom elements to it at the beginning and feels a bit lighter, while CAHM feels like a heavier watch overall. Latter also leans more towards the crime/investigation side.

Both dramas take place at the broadcasting station and both have elements of suspense and investigation as well as special medical condition (FL in Pinocchio and ML in FMiYM). Of course both dramas have moments of romance and comedy. There are some other similarities but that would be a spoiler... Both are highly recommended!
