Zi Jin’s brother makes a surprise visit to the palace to plead Zi Jin in becoming Zhan Ji’s concubine for the sake of the family. The competition between the two factions in the Imperial Food Services heats up at the Autumn Festival banquet. Matron Hu has tricks up her sleeve, while Zi Jin does her best with her injured hand, not caring if her constant use of it disables it in the future.
