The spring Seo Dal-mi lost everything, Nam Do-san's letters kept her company. Fifteen years later, she needs him by her side to prove Won In-jae wrong. (Source: Netflix)
One of the best, if not THE best, first episode I've ever seen. It introduced the characters, their relationships, and the plot so incredibly well. I became completely obsessed with this drama from the first episode, which is rare. I have very high hopes for Start Up.
Really enjoyed this episode a lot. The cherry blossoms in the backdrop were gorgeous. The young actors and actresses were great at their role. The grandma was a very heart-warming person. Can't wait to watch more.
Like the title reads, this pilot episode impressed me so much. Just like how Goblin had me I'm it's palm. So much to look forward to. (I am commenting to this ep after finishing ep 10. That's y less praises lol)
I think out of all the Korean dramas that I have watched in my life, this first episode was the most powerful start that I have ever seen. It was the perfect episode that paves way for many themes and plots that I can see the story picking up at a later time. I could sense the conflicts that the characters might have. Seo Dal Mi with her business problems, Won In Jae with her current family and her past friends. Han Ji Pyung with his debt and feelings (SLS) and Nam Do San with the whirlwind that he is going to be thrown in after this initial episode. Very excited about this drama.
Start Up EP 01: Photography, OST and script: PERFECT
This first episode is really impressive. At first you see that photography is amazing, in pink/spring tones, giving a grace and "soft" tone to the drama. The story is really beautiful, the improbible relashionships that grown make us cry and we want to know what's coming next. I really liked the script, I thought original and catching. The first episode is really emotional, you know what's gonna happen and you're already expecting, but the way all things happen is sadly poethic. The Drama make us reflect and expect a better future for the leader character. It make us cry and give us a feeling of hope. We want to see the leader winning. And in the end: I'm probably shipping the wrong couple. I'm suffering since now! But i'm really cacthed by this drama and I can't wait to see how things are gonna end.
I loved the first episode and I cried so so much! I’m really happy that I picked this up! Suzy has improved a lot since the last time I saw her acting in Uncontrollably Fond! I’m loving this!
