The Story of Gumiho (2020)

Now that I saw the drama poster... It's kind of similar too XD

Both MLs are fox spirits and the FLs are mortal.

Both deal with the theme of reincarnation and have a strong supernatural element.
Only on episode 3 for now but Bulgasal is definitely a bit darker and has less of a romantic side.
TONT deals with deities while Bulgasal monsters.

The both have a spooky-like style and involves supernatural creatures (Hotel Del Luna involves ghost and the afterlife world while Tail of the Nine-Tailed deals more with mythological creatures such as the foxes, etc.).
The male lead of Tale of the Nine-Tailed and the FL of Hotel Del Lune both are more than 1000 years old and have a past that ties with someone important that they have lost.
Also the concepts of reincarnation and past lifetimes are an overarching theme in both shows.

Similarities-
- Plotline - the 1000 yr old fox who is looking for his woman to be reincarnated
- ML who is someone who gives up responsibilities and is living like a vigilant
- Female Lead works in news industry: In M&V she is an aspiring journalist whereas in TTONT she is an Director for TV show
- SML is ML's Brother who keeps killing people and annoying ML
- common mythical references : liver eating, summer rain, blindness, one love etc
Differences
- M&V is more of romance centric whereas TTONT is mix of action, investigation, and horror
- FL is a lot stronger character in TTONT

Both have horror elements/a darker tone, an immortal ML, and a reincarnated FL who is being chased by a monster/monsters.

1. MLs are immortals. In Nine-tailed, ML is a gumiho. In YWCFS, ML is an alien.
2. MLs are waiting for his first love (which turned out to be FLs) from Joseon Dynasty.

Excluding the romance in TOTNT, the short presentation of YYH sounds eerily similar to the basic plot of the other drama. I haven't watched the anime, read the manga or plan to watch the drama for YYH, but still... "working for boatmen of afterlife" - check, friends with the (friendly) Death Gods - check... Sounds like at least some of the premises are similar.

Both fantasy with a touch of Romance. I find them quite similar but the main plot is different. Main leads are also very very handsome.... BUT they were both dramas I enjoyed a lot, with a strong cast and script. It also has humor and just everything you would want in a drama. They both had a happy ending as well!!

In both ML is waiting for the reincarnation of their lovers. Other common tags are Immortal, rich male lead, death of lover, supernatural and a lot more....

In both shows:
> The Female Lead has the ability to see ghosts. In Black she's born with the ability, whereas in TOTNT she developes/is given the ability.
> The Male Leads have few friends.
> The Male Leads are't human. In Black he's a grim reaper and in TOTNT he's a fox.
> The Male Leads are constantly protecting the Female Leads, more so when they develop feelings towards them.
> The Male Leads are strong, cocky but hilarious.

Having said that, Black is a lot darker than TOTNT.

Both series have that mysterious vibe. Also I see a similarity in the Grim Reapers and the Nine Tailed Foxes. The plot is crazy good in both stories. You should give it a go if you loved Tomorrow.

Gods, God has an office with rules and employees ,evil beings, rain mythology, FL special being, supernatural.

Both MLs are mythical beings who has spent centuries waiting for their true love who died tragically for them to reincarnate and return. When he finally finds her, she has no memories and a different personality.

ML is superman archetype, loner,
FL curious and brave despite childhood trauma
Both support justice in their own way , ML seemingly hesitant to get involved in worldly affairs
Dark but witty dialogue to create balance
Intriguing investigative adventure with romance at its core
