It's been a long time since I watched a procedural cop show.. I was burned badly by like 4 diff dramas in quick succession (tho all Korean) and it just took me out of my love for crime and cop dramas especially in the Asian sphere but on a whim, I saw this on Netflix and decided to give it a try and was surprised how much I enjoyed it.It wasn't trying to be anything new but what it did, it did well. The cast was one of the best part of it all for me. They were fun, dynamic and interesting. I enjoyed the acting from everyone but especially from Ibuki, Shima and Kuzumi. The cases were interesting and well written.
Some episodes really made me laugh too so that's a bonus.
I don't really remember the song but it didn't detract from the show so that's okay.
I think I could rewatch this sometime in the future.
One thing to note is Ibuki could get comically loud sometimes and tho this is something I don't enjoy in most dramas, but I just found him so charming that I kept forgiving him and I genuinely think he's a great actor.

Poliziesco fatto molto bene
Mi è piaciuto molto. All'inizio non lo avevo preso in considerazione, da qualche spezzone di anteprima mi faceva pensare, non so perché, a un qualcosa di demenziale, invece ho fatto bene a decidermi ad iniziarlo. È risultato un poliziesco fatto molto bene, a parte un certo filo conduttivo che permane fino alla fine ogni storia ha la sua conclusione nel suo episodio e questo lo rende stimolante e non stancante. La storia e le storie sono scritte molto bene, gli attori sono bravi, credibili e anche simpatici. Ci sono momenti seri, momenti leggeri, si ride e si sta in trepida attesa. Posso dire che è ben bilanciato. Ne consiglio la visione, che peraltro scorre molto bene e veloceVond je deze recentie nuttig?

Utter trash
This show is from the bottom of the j-drama cesspool. The acting is comically bad. It's like they picked a couple of random people on the street and asked them to be in a low budget cop movie. Every expression is over exaggerated. The dialogues must have been improvised on the spot. The policemen carry a gun but refuse to use it because it goes against their moral values as japanese cops. Every episode has a character with a sad backstory. Every episode has a storyline made up of cliche after cliche. A major incident happens but then it turns out it was only a dream or a fake video posted online.I want the 10 hours I wasted watching this dreck back.

It’s amazing. Love them since the first episode.
This drama is set in the same universe as Unnatural (directed and written by the same team). So if you like Unnatural, I’m sure you’ll love MIU404 instantly! Somehow the atmosphere and style of these two are very similar. Each episode of MIU told different cases and story but it also carried a big case(s) that linked all episodes or at least from episode 3 onwards.Ibuki and Shima are perfect buddies, along with Kokonoe, Jimba-san, and Captain Kikyo they’re a perfect team. You can find a “normal” attitude of general people in this team. The ignorant, the perfectionist, the critic, the funny guy, and the leader are the ones who create the balance in the stories. Yeah, until episode 5 when I wrote this review, they’re still not fully trusted to each other, but their development is very interesting to see. The guest role in every episode portrayed the character very well which makes all stories very memorable. The additional cast (if you don’t find out yet) will make you scream!
You know what makes J-dramas (the good ones) feel so good? I think is their way to tell the story very beautifully. The words of their script are indeed beautiful. MIU404 is one of them. I’m not fluent in Japanese, but big thanks to the fansubber of this drama (ibsm404.tumblr.com), I can understand their funny conversation and find the interesting way they used to tell the story. Simple words like I’m sorry and I’m fine can hit me differently. Also, in episode 4, they showed sentences with different orders that can create different deep meanings which went very well with the story. That was amazing.
Can’t wait to see how the stories progressed in the next episodes. You shouldn’t miss this one.

5 Episodes In! & It's Awesome
I started the drama today and i have already completed half of it. It is really amazing. Especially the character Ibuki's comic sense is cool. His behaviour made me laugh out loud at many instances. It's better than it looks!
I really love the OST, especially the one near the ending! It's a really great show with lovely storyline.It's a refreshing plot with interesting ways of presenting crimes and police investigation
I especially love the bromance between the buddy. The casts are surprisingly funny and adorable to watch. They might not be your typical visual in drama, but they are really easy on the eyes
I laughed a lot and also cried here and there.
The only thing is it's a little slow in first few episodes, so I though there wasn't much going on and it suddenly took a turn and become a wild ride, with real good ending
Stay tuned and watch till the end.
It's also a nice break from typical Kdrama lol..I found Jdrama has its own style of humor that might take some getting used to. but once used to it, its very nice to watch!
