LQ found the place CY has been confined and advised XY to wait out as his suspected the abductors to be the same ones that he met in the palace. The Marquis wanted to violate CY who resisted, and she was restrained again. In a daze she imagined XY coming to save her but turned out to be XC. XY instructed LQ to get reinforcements as he stayed behind to observe the situation. Back in the captivity room, CY blamed XC for her plight and that he came so late. XC explained that he can only come alone as the whole place is guarded by the Marquis’ men. The escape plan was to have CY climb down the window by the lake and XC to fetch her in a boat. Before they could execute the plan the Marquis returned and pushed XY to the bed with evil intentions. XY at this moment threw and hit the Marquis with his prized top enabling CY to dash out of the window. The Marquis ordered his men to cut the rope holding her and XY appeared in time to grab and hold on to CY. This aggravated his old injury and blood started to trickle down. The Marquis then ordered his men to shoot at them with arrows and XY decided to let go and plunged into the lake. XY followed to save her and managed to push her up XC’s boat, and he pushed the boat away from the arrow’s shooting range before submerging himself. CY was worried about XY and though XC advise against going back for XY, she jumped into the water. However, XY had to give CY his last breath underwater and passed out. CY managed to pull XY to safety with a rope XC dropped. Onboard, XC discovered XY’s old injury and CY wanted to perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation as XY was not breathing. XC volunteered to do he honor and got water spit into his face when XY woke. CY stayed by XY’s bed as he recuperated, and they got into a couple’s dispute again when he woke. CY later shared her feelings to TY who thinks CY has taken a liking to XY. XY denied it. The following day CY secretly went to see XY training and came up with an excuse to return the top. XC lamented that XY got to play hero this time and not him. Frustrated he went to check on XY and at the same time question on the old injury. At the moment XY received a letter and a women’s undergarment with the message that the Marquis had violated CY. XY went to confront CY and XC decided to take matters into his own hands.
