Gu Xiang attempts to trick Xiao Lian into getting frozen by a special nail to switch her for Tragicomic Ghost, but is interrupted by Cao Wei Ning's arrival. At the Five Lakes Alliance monument, Ah' Xu spies Pretty Arhat from the Scorpion assassin organization. He finds Lao Wen and they observe the discussion together. Ah' Xu infers that someone was purposefully planning behind the scenes with the Scorpions. Gu Xiang, Cao and Xiao Lian are attacked by Lv Liu and Tao Hong, who injure Cao and take Xiao Lian away. Qian Qiao arrives with Yu Feng and Tragicomic Ghost, whom they had rescued. The various sects and clans clash with the Five Lakes Alliance , claiming that they coveted the Glazed Armor for themselves though many of the other sects' secrets were locked in the Armory too. Gao Chong brings Young Master Long Xiao of the Longyuan Cabinet that had designed the armor years ago. Things take a dark turn when Long Xiao accuses Gao Chong of manipulating his father, announcing that he'd never help him open the Armory. Gao Chong, exhausted, promises that once the Ghost Valley had been banished, he would open the armory to the world, brandishing the Token of Honor of Changming Sword Immortal as proof. He also announces Zhang Cheng Ling's engagement to his daughter and his plan to retire from the Jianghu. The sects agree, but begin a new argument over who gets the Yin Yang and the Six Combined Martial arts books as the owners had passed away long ago. Seeing a livid Lao Wen who was happy with the outcome, Ah' Xu starts to suspect his intentions and identity. He argues with him, parting ways. Back at Yueyang sect, the recovering Eldest Senior, Deng Kuan, who was the survivor of the Funeral Game held by the Ghost Valley is hypnotised into killing his own sect disciple and freeing two prisoners. He walks to the Five Lakes Monument and announces that Gao Chong had colluded with the Ghost Valley before stabbing himself to death.
