Warm, heart-fluttering romance with great side stories!
I watched this because I saw that it is the same author of Hidden Love which I LOVED. I wasn’t familiar with the actors of WIFTY so I was apprehensive.While there were a few tropes that seemed like it was swept under the carpet, it was still extremely lovable to watch. The actors did a great job, their budding love progressing to the strong love they had was well portrayed and didn’t feel out of the sudden.
Everything was so sweet, even when they were in high school. My favourite part of this all is that while the ML is smart and attractive and the FL is less so, it wasn’t like some other dramas where the ML falling for the FL was a ‘just because’. The drama really portrayed how FL’s 偏爱 (impartial love?) towards ML brought him out of his insecurities and trauma.
Everything was so, so lovable and adorable. Must watch if you loved Hidden Love like I did (although HL to me is still the best romcom I’ve watched in a long time)

EVERYTHING IS JUST SO PERFECT
one thing i want to say about this drama is that I LOVE IT SO MUCH. im not a fan of teen drama like on school setting something like that bc idk i find it boring but this one, THIS ONE!! im really hooked since the first episode!! the pace is just so right, you will not get bored and it doesn't feel rushed and forced. you will laugh, cry and everything throughout.the characters is just amazing!!! i love the main characters so much, their chemistry is just so chef kiss and i love how you can clearly see how their love story developed throughout the drama. they're both just so cute:((( even the side characters!! its just so perfect for me. i want to rewatch it again and againnnnn.

The charm of youth
In all Asian countries, China has always been doing great in producing school-based and coming-of-age genres as a series. The transition from old school to the present years settled the firm foundation of making the audience nostalgic and reminisce about the beauty of their youthful days. The best factor that I’ve seen from these dramas is the perfect blend of romance and friendship as the major highlight of their stories. When I Fly Towards You is one of the best examples of a drama that caters to the fantastic era of young adults throughout their lives.I am super invested in this drama, especially during the time when all of them are still in the same school, where all of my favorite episodes come from. It is important for me as a viewer that all characters have their own spotlight to shine and this project provides me with it. All five of them have a story to tell and a path of journey to walk through with their own selves. They always made me cry with happiness every now and then.
It was almost a ten out of ten score for me not until they reached their university and adulthood age when I somehow felt less happy than the previous episodes. Yet, I still enjoyed the show and am grateful to see each of them fulfilling their dreams individually.
Rang Rang, Su Zai Zai, Guran, Jiang Jia, Guan Fang, and the rest of the characters in this show play a remarkable portrayal of their respective roles and they always have a special place in my heart. I love that they made me feel warm and joyful. To be able to look back once more on how beautiful the life of a youth is.

Man!! Have u ever thought of a drama which should include all of your bucket list of fantasies. Have u ever thought of a drama which don't have anything missing when the whole pieces are set. Boom!! this is it. It is the perfect example for the name heartwarming romance. Every time I watch a C Drama i used have some unanswered questions. unsatisfied emotions.. only some major dramas have made m e satisfied like Lovely us , and this one tops the list . The First thing that comes to my mind = That smile of the FL such a pure intent in it . it was enough to make her people forget anything bad.. and the ML did a good jobNow about the main plus points, CAST.. it was perfect.. the chemistry between the Main leads, It is just perfect. About the secondary couple it wavered a bit in the last episode but ends on a good note . This is like a food with everyone's favourite ingredients. Healthy mains relationship, No major misunderstandings, that confidence in the leads Especially the FL 's. some small misunderstandings with a cheesy endings to satisfy our sugar cravings . What not everything in your list is here made into a drama and presented write before you. u just have to watch it...common just go for it blindly ..u WILL demand for a season 2 ( infact I want a season 2) :)

High School Love Story ?
When I Fly Towards You is about 5 friends in high school choosing their careers for their bright future and falling in love. I absolutely loved this drama!! The cast and acting was incredible and something I really enjoyed watching. For those who are wondering the ending was a very happy ending as the couples deserved. BEST YOUTH SERIES FOR ME THIS YEAR!!!
I usually tend to be quite picky with highschool or youth themed dramas because I tend to find them a bit repetitive but this was everything I wished and hoped for...having watched two favourite youth series from the same director I definitely had my hopes high and guess what!Each and every one of them was met🤗
The plot was light yet had such depth to it, the story was nostalgic and emotional but at the same time funny and the Dialogue was literally everything...the youth and friendship moments were highlighted perfectly and most of the times relatable, I cried, laughed and giggled with them..it was a consistent plot which didn't include any unnecessary plots but just centred around the main characters, growth character development,relationships, friendship, emotions and life.
The characters were so good each one of them fit their role, I loved the female lead and how gutsy and brave she could be most of the times, I admired how her character was written..Male lead was shy and an introvert for a change most are but he won me over without even saying much,the other characters were amazing too..my fav support role was Guan Feng I loved how he stood out despite only appearing a few times on screen...the cast did an amazing job in potraying their characters.
The chemistry between the leads and our second couple..the leads had that cite type of chemistry that had me giggling and kicking my feet most of the times and most of the times I would complain about extra couples but our second couple in this was everything..they had chemistry, I didn't cringe one bit and their story line had an actual impact to the story...loved both our couples.
The osts and cinematography was everything, her recording their moments with a cam corder was nostalgic and the cinematography was dreamy like..the osts were amazing..each one of them tbh...❤️
I can't find actual complaints about this series, except say that I loved each and every episode and how it just kept getting better and better...loved the story flow to the characters to the osts and cinematography I loved everything.
If you looking for a nice light hearted fun youth series then this is it...🤍

Cute and sweet
This is one really sweet drama that would probably give you a tooth ache.Su zai a teenager persuaing her crush whomis extremely reserved and quiet, i love the friendship growth and how they helped each other and grew with each other.
The love between zhu and zai was sweet and he did become unreserved and the best part there was no unnecessary drama or cat fight just sweet love moments and joy all around.
They were times she was a bit annoying it very sweet way.

The best youth drama!!
This is extremely good! It has become the best youth drama for me. Very light, wholesome, relaxing, such a beautiful and peaceful love story. They have the healthiest relationship, their love is so pure. ML and FL are so cute together. They have an amazing chemistry, it felt real and the cast is adorable. I love it when she says Rang Rang, so sweet! I’m excited to rewatch it on Viki, just waiting for all the episodes to be released.I highly recommend it. It’s beautifully made, well directed, good script, no unnecessary, dragged plots and the whole cast is lovable. I will be revisiting this series over and over again. I love it so much. Watching it gives me so much joy.

Beautiful Romance Drama. Perfection.
The Male Lead of the show was good with great character development with his brother and the people around him, he was enjoyable to watch, a silent character done well that has a great personality. The Female Lead was also a great character and very enjoyable to watch with her bubbly character and outgoing personality. The supporting cast was also incredibly good the main group consisting of 5 splendid characters each with their own issues and upbringings. The Grandma of this show added emotion to this show and added a lot of real-life situations. The parents of Gu Ran also added a feel of what it feels like to not have parents at home all the time due to them being busy but also having an understanding of that and still loving them. The show's pacing was incredibly good and while most dramas have terrible pacing these days these show episodes always leave you wonderfully joyful as each episode is incredibly great and moves the drama forward. The show also isn't as long as other C Dramas as it's only 24 episodes and each one is 30 minutes long. Although it isn't very long it perfectly fulfills what the show needs to be in terms of length.Some additional but extremely great highlights of the show were the production. The OST was very memorable and noticeable, typically when I watch dramas the OSTs aren't something I really remember after the show except for a few exceptions but this one was very memorable. The Camera features one of my favorites as it added a lot of depth to this show it has the pictures saying Cam and the sound getting worse to signify that it's a camera recording making it genuinely feel like it was a camera recording of the characters and was one of my favorite features of the show. Sadly they removed it towards the end of the show but it was most likely because they were now out of college which is understandable. Nonetheless, it's these small features that add a new layer to the show and I think this is a great watch.
Overall this is one of the best dramas I've ever watched due to the depth, production, story, characters, character development, pacing, and minor details that add a lot to the story. Definitely a 10/10. I 100% would recommend it. This year has been really great for Chinese Dramas it seems.

The perfect youth drama
I don't really write reviews but this drama definitely deserved one.Story: First off, I don't really like the female pursuing male cliché, but this drama proved to me that I didn't detest it at all—just that past dramas didn't portray it well. I watched so many youth dramas with the same trope but the female lead would only embarrass herself over and over again. But this drama showed that the embarrassment wasn't really necessary. Secondly, even though this is a youth c-drama we barely got any misunderstandings, and if we did, it would be solved within the span of one episode. Thirdly, the pacing of the plot was just immaculate. I didn't feel like it was too rushed nor was it too slow, it was just perfect. Last but not least, you will enjoy the story of all the support roles and the love story of the secondary couple. Their love story shines in their own way. Overall, for a humorous adolescent drama, the plot was really incredible and well thought out, and the ending will have you in tears. This is THE youth drama of 2023, though it may be too soon to say for sure.
Acting: The actors in the cast performed a fantastic job in their parts. I have to admit that the acting of this young group of actors genuinely surprised me. Although their acting wasn't very exceptional, they did a great job of making the characters likable and entertaining to watch.
Cinematography: I had to admit that the directors did a great job with the cinematography. As the plot developed, you could observe how trends in fashion and other areas changed. The phones and clothing, for instance, changed as the years passed. They paid attention to even the smallest details. You could see how the characters were dressing less conservatively. And the topics of men and women were also not looked down upon as much. The details might be minor, but they played a vital role in the pacing of the drams.
Music: Every single song was wonderful. They were ideal and appropriate for each circumstance that arose in the drama.
So all in all this is a great drama and I would encourage you all to watch it!

Fluffiest couple ever
Beautiful portrayal of Youth, great story telling, beautiful aesthetics and soundtrack…what’s not to like? Plus the final was really sweet, cried so hard watching his proposal…they love each other so much!!Sunflower and sunshine trope, ML is not a jerk and the second couple has a decent storyline 👍🏻 and the squad has the best chemistry!!! Can’t get over their friendship, these five people will make you want to go back to your adolescent and experience it all again…very nostalgic

BEST ROMANCE CDRAMA TO DATE ><
I’ve been a serial drama watcher since 2016 from dramas to Jdramas, I’ve watched them all and I haven’t watched a drama that’s had me glued to my seat due to being in love with every aspect of this show!!!! The leads and and sub leads did their parts perfectly and there wasn’t anything TOO cringey that would have made me skip through some parts. 10/10 would rewatch and would recommend to anyone who likes a cute romance. And I love that is was a slow burn but it was just the right amount of slow and not too many misunderstandings and what misunderstandings there was, were resolved mostly in that same episode. One last thing that I lived for was the time skips. I love a good time skip and they did multiple just right and it didn’t leave me confused on where we was at😂😂BEST CDRAMA OF 2023❤️❤️❤️❤️
