The actors are all great in their profession, but i think some of them were held back from showing what they are capable of doing. Really the star of the drama was Kim Woo Bin and Kim Sung Ryung. Also the lovers Bo Na and Chan Young were cutie and humors every moment. Therefore I recommend this drama for a simple remainder that each person should be grateful for everything they have, and not envy the rich. We live in a tough world.

the acting was superb but it was sooo cheesy and the American actors who spoke English where rusty really, but the emotions were spot on i almost forgot it was a drama after the terrible actors left. it involved mystery, conflict drama etc which was good because that made it an predictable other than than lee min ho is a good actor he sets the scene really well.

I was really hooked from the first episode because Park Shin Hye's portrayal of her character. When she met Lee Min Ho in America, their chemistry and Park Shin Hye's innocence got me rooting for them. This is the part where people probably find this drama too predictable, but I wanted both of them to be together so bad, that I didn't mind.
When I got to know Kim Woo Bin's character more, he became less and less of a villain and more of character that needed to be understood.
The story line was simple, but it's still my favorite drama!

The successor to Boys Over Flowers, almost equally awful
The rich boy/poor girl cliche can be made enjoyable. The jerk that becomes a nice guy can be made compelling. The quiet, stubborn, kind female lead can be interesting. But not here. Not for The Heirs. This drama, has an over the top cast, bad acting, poor chemistry between the leads and outdated plot. It was bad when it came out and it is bad now. Lee Min Ho has never been in a good drama, and this is no exception. But even a better actor could not have saved this trash fire.I think it is better than Boys Over Flowers in that scenes are watchable on some level, the female lead doesn't make me want to chuck my laptop across the room, and the second male lead is at least somewhat compelling (by far the best part of the whole drama, honestly). But that is a very low bar. Overall, nothing here is working.
Skip this. Except maybe for that one scene where the second lead is being fed by the female lead's mom? That's cute.

For starters of Korean Dramas, this was actually a good one. Some funny scenes too. For teens probably they will like this kind of drama, not too deep, not too dark and the best thing about it is that it portrays several situations that a person can relate to like first love, child-parent relationships, rivalries, bullying and others. Overall, the drama was entertaining but nothing screams special.
The story was full of clichés and cheesiness but always touches base with reality.
I commend the actors because they delivered well. The characters have different personalities that when they met each time, it was like a circus. With this drama, 2 actors did actually stand out for me, Kim Woo Bin and Choi Jin Hyuk.
The songs played are musical scores used in the drama was an okay for me...forgettable.
I think watching this once is enough but if you want to relive the funny sides of the story you might want to watch it again. But for me, watching it again will be a waste of time.

why.. why.. why??
horrible show with a phenomenal cast. this drama has no plot what so ever and it really shows the second you get past the first episode. it was like i was watching a bunch of problems that get solved in one episode turned into a whole series. like wtf was that whole sister plot in the beginning that turned into nothing?? also, sorry but the ML and FL had no chemistry what so ever. after finishing a drama made around this time (fated love to you) and seeing the intense amount of romance between ML and FL , it made me realize how goddamn bad it was in this show. like the FL looked as if she was in pain when they kissed!i don't know the FL's acting skills well, so i won't 100% judge them, but her character was so lacking and the acting was mediocre, that it felt like they didn't even try. even the ML too (acting wasn't bad)! how do u make the two main characters of your show the most boring ones!!! i fell in love with choi yeongdo out of everyone, and he was a piece of shit! but his story was so much more interesting and it felt like his crush on the FL made way much more sense than whatever made the ML like her. also, his actor (kim woobin) is fucking killer. without him, i would've dropped the show so fast.
honestly, none of the other characters were really memorable, but they weren't bad. it just was so annoying how everyone protected the FL... like for what? she's so boring, and not even that nice. i would've never gone out of my way for her, lollll.
and do NOT get me started on the "LOVE IS THE MOMENTTT" shit. i'm so sick and tired of that song.
only great parts, in my opinion, were the jealousy/fight scenes, but mostly bc i'm such a sucker for jealousy. i love it when testosterone is flowing so much in the air, it becomes a drug and u get addicted to it.
TLDR: bad characters, bad plot, good casting, yeongdo plz hmu i can fix you

And they had such a great cast with so many good young stars.
Was so predictable, so expectable...nothing new and no WOW factor at all.
I just saw this until the end because of Kim Woon Bin, the only actor that could bring some action from this whole boring storyline!
Was just an OKAY drama...nothing much.

one of the most classic school kdramas ever
This is the classic of all classics for me and one of the first kdramas that got me into kdrama world back in the days! from cringe acting to predictable plot filled with school drama, with all its disadvantages it’s understandably bad and weird, but also very addicting. If you’re watching it for the first time in 2023 and expecting much of it - it’s gonna be a disappointment, for 2013 tho it was a typical type of show and it rly has a teen fanfiction vibe of those time lol
This kdrama is not to be taken seriously imo, so I love rewatching, it really brings u back in time 🥹

Heirs Fall Flat
The predictable storyline dragged on, with Cha Eun Sang's incessant crying becoming grating. The characters lacked depth, making it hard to root for them. Kim Tan's indecisiveness and Eun Sang's passivity were particularly frustrating. The supporting cast was underutilized, and Rachel Yoo's character was reduced to a mere plot device. Even Lee Min-Ho's charm couldn't save the shallow script, and Park Shin-Hye's performance was marred by her character's constant tears. The drama's focus on wealth and privilege grew tiresome, and the ending felt rushed and unsatisfying.
This drama is a masterclass in melodrama, with predictable plot twists and cringe-worthy dialogue. The acting often felt like overacting. If you enjoy watching rich people problems and endless tears, then "Heirs" might be for you. Otherwise, skip it.
