Both dramas have a plot of a girl who sees ghosts and is scary of them. The girl gets involved with the male lead because of ghosts.
Both have supernatural elements and a strong yet vulnerable female lead. In both the couple has to overcome their differences in station but both our male leads love the female lead first. Our leading men also both have memory loss.
Horror Romance Movie , this movie gives me the same vibe when I watch Master's Sun . The female lead can see ghost around her and unable to overcome the fear until she meet male lead .
Both really cute, rom/com dramas. The main actor is hot & both have great chemistry. Must watch, you'll love it!
They both are in similar genres, horror, supernatural rom-com. I love Master's Sun and I think people who love it will love Hotel Del Luna too! They both have stories revolving around helping vengeful ghosts stuck on earth to find their peace.
Theme of solving ghost cases. Both male female leads have simbiotic relationship. In master's sun female lead uses her ghost seeing ability to be the male lead's radar. In Ghost the female lead is technically a ghost and helps the male lead to win against ghosts. Both male started off disliking the female lead to grudgingly accept their presence, then actively seeking them out when absent to forming a romantic relationship
Both are horror themed romance dramas with comedy elements.
- The female lead is seriously unlucky.
- Ghost-seeing characters.

Both dramas contain a lovely and cute but kinda weird girl falling for handsome and rich guy, whos arrogant and tries to avoid the girl ( but later falls for her ). Both dramas are made by the producers Hong Sisters. Also both drama will make you laugh a lot but also give you moments to cry.
Both have the same writers (Hong Sisters) and even though the stories seem to be quite different you will realize that they have some points in common. For example: Like Joong Won, Seol Gong Chan is a CEO (but a hotel instead of a shopping mall)& acts cold towards the female lead but is willing to help her later on,in both the female lead keeps annoying the male lead in the beginning. Female lead feels lonely in both. I can't think of other similarities right now (And I don't want to spoil it for you). You will see while watching :)
Both dramas have similar stories with their differences. Both have a superstitious element to it, both have a CEO who are charismatic, both have that perfect 'second' lead that the girl never chooses, both have great OST, both have some really funny, romantic and cute scenes, both females have changed their CEOs. The difference- one is light and the other is a darker drama.
The stories don't have much in common but I have read many comments (and I agree) finding the two male leads similar. It's true that they seem to have a cool and collected façade, but both have a very strange, irrational part to them that is revealed as they fall in love with the female lead. One of the most striking illustrations of this is their "demented" laugh. Also, both actors (So Ji Sub and Jang Hyuk) are more "mature" actors (37 and 38) that play mainly in action type dramas, and both Master's Sun and Fated To Love You are their first rom-coms in years.
Similiar theme about ghost, FL and ML need each other. It has been long time I found drama like Master Sun that has interesting plot even tho still airing.
