I was not Disappointed watching this
First of all, I have to say that I haven't read the novel, so I was able to enter the series with a completely unbiased mind. Due to time constraints, I started the series later. In addition, I hesitated because I read quite a lot of negative comments here. But since I'm one of those people who prefer to make up my own mind, I finally started the series and wasn't disappointed. I'll admit it's not the best series GMM has produced, but that doesn't surprise me.I agree that showing Enchante right after Bad Buddy wasn't a good idea for GMM. I can deal with it myself and don't compare series with each other. That's probably because I'm used to Korean dramas quickly switching series.
I didn't go into the series with high expectations myself. I only do that when I'm pretty sure I won't be disappointed. And so I couldn't be too disappointed.
The story is basically very interesting and when I saw the teaser back then, that was the reason why I wanted to see it. But I also think that the story and the development was the weakest part of the series. More could have been made of it.
The actors were a big surprise for me. I won't say much about Fluke Gawin because I expected him to do a very good job, which I got. Fluke Pusit also played his role very well, although he's relatively new if I'm not mistaken. Boom and Aou weren't bad, but I didn't remember them that way. Maybe it was because of the characters they played.
I think Force was very good in his role. I can't really understand the criticism because I really liked his direction in the series. Maybe that's because I haven't read the novel. Incidentally, that's one of the reasons I never read a novel first and then watch the series. You can actually only be disappointed, if only because you get an idea while reading.
That's why I can actually only speak of the series and the performance of the actors, and in my opinion it was really, really, really good (for Force). I took his role from him and that is always very important to me.
To Book: Hm, I don't think he can't act, but maybe the role wasn't that good for him. I have to admit that I don't really like the role of Theo. I think he thinks about himself a little too much.
Spoilers: I mean, I can understand that he's sad about his parents' split, but as a student he should be mature enough to accept the decision. Also, I think he's also selfish going to France. What did he expect? That Akk, who already doesn't have much self-esteem when it comes to his relationship with Theo, is holding him back? If I had been Akk, I wouldn't have done that either.
Akk's sisters also brought the humor to the show. Above all, I really liked Egg.
I also really like the music in the series. I'm a fan of ballads and sentimental music, and I found that the background music always suited each scene.
Ultimately, I can only recommend everyone to watch the series, maybe you should wait a bit until Bad Buddy has been erased from your brain. The series just had a bad standing because it was released right after one of the best boys love series ever.
I can also only advise everyone not to compare the actors with Ohm and Nanon. Of course they are worlds apart, but Ohm also started out small. And if I'm not mistaken, he also started with a leading role^^.
So I recommend the series for those who would like to see a funny, best friend turned lovers series and maybe don't necessarily want to compare it to Bad Buddy. If you want to enjoy the series, I can only give you one piece of advice.

If you came here for the harem plot as advertised in the trailer, you're probably not going to love this show. If you came here for some gorgeous low-drama courtship, though, ho boy is this the show for you. The characters are great and their interactions build in a way that feels natural, and the show is beautifully shot and edited imo. It isn't fast paced or high stakes, just soft and comfortable - definitely a warm blanket of a show!I think a lot of people disliked this show because they wanted more out of the advertised plot, and that simply isn't what the show is interested in. On the other hand, I think a lot of people may not have given this show a chance because they weren't interested in the advertised plot. Enchante is nothing at all like advertised, and to my mind that's a good thing, but if that's what you signed up for I can see why you would be disappointed. For me, though, this show was charming and refreshing, a breath of fresh air after a lot of higher stakes shows such as Not Me.

This series made me look at love differently, now i believes love can be only this way, the way Akk loved Theo from a young age till they are too old to understand what is love.. i dont know what love is other then this, the story had me in tears, Akk always stayed by Theo side no matter what, as Akk loved Theo so much he even wanted the best for him, Akk literally showed what love is all about, and Force acting as Akk was so professional, like he didn't have to cry to make us feel his sadness, his eyes said it all, the sadness he hide because he loved Theo so much..Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Enchante is not NOT good
I would simply say some parts of the series are cringey to watch (to be completely honest, yes!) but at the same time it's so cute, too. The four Te-Te guys was so messy for me but I know they have a part in AkkTheo's story. Also the part where it was revealed that Theo is the Enchante guy was also messy to me. It looked like Theo fooled Akk and made him jealous but I understand his reasons though. On the other hand, I admire Akk's care for Theo every time there's something happening to Theo. Começa bem, porém o final...
Eu queria muito ter achado Enchanté perfeito, e até o episódio oito eu tinha certeza que iria ser um favoritado, porém os dois últimos episódios para mim foram péssimos, uma plot inserida de última hora, introdução de um novo personagem que só serviu para uma cena, e um final extremamente corrido só para dizer que foi feliz.Eu realmente gosto da história desse drama, acho diferente, curiosa e divertida. Então eu estava me divertindo bastante assistindo aos episódios. Entretanto, para mim, eles poderiam ter acabado quando a plot principal (a descoberta de quem é o Enchanté) fosse finalizada. Mas não, eles decidiram colocar mais coisa, o que na minha opinião foi um erro. Já a atuação pra mim foi impecável, os atores conseguiam expressar bem seus personagens. A ost também é muito boa, não paro de escutar. Eu talvez reassistiria se alguém quisesse assistir, mas sozinha? não me daria vontade.
Conclusão final: É um drama bom, você vai se divertir assistindo, masss tem que estar preparado pro final, porquê é bem decepcionante.

Let me keep this review real real and talk all things pros and cons. Let's begin with the pros. Before we begin, lemme say, I have no favourite genres or story types. I can watch anything and everything and I usually don't drop titles. I watch them till the end to properly appreciate and analyse the work put by the crew in it.Moving on to the pros:
Leads. Force and Book were really good with their roles. At some places you really find book's character being useless or dumb and force's character being too laid back or not courageous enough to make moves sorta. Which means, the roles were rightly justified by the actors. They did their best to bring life to the roles. I am happy with their acting. All the supporting cast did support well. That's all about them. Nothing or no one to be mentioned specially.
Tracks. The sound tracks especially the Je t’aime à la folie by Gawin is good. It's nice how they introduced that song as a part of the story itself.
Duration. The story, getting concluded in 10 episodes is actually a relieving thing. By not putting unnecessary drama and scenes they ended the whole story with an additional end twist within 10 episodes and I am very happy about it. You can perfectly binge watch it allllll in one day. And still be attached to the roles.
Production. I am not sure if I totally know the meaning of the word production, but I'll go with what I know. The series, I won't call it pleasingly aesthetic but it can surely be said to have right amount of colouring and lightning done. The scenes blended one into the other very well. The editing is nice. I assume they used green screens here and there, I mean obviously, they wouldn't have gone to France for a few shots. The editing there was done so dreamy that we won't find it awkward or annoying anywhere.
Now let's go to cons. Not coms exactly but something's that ain't so good in the series.
The story. I very well guessed the entire story in the second episode. Appreciate me for me! The story could have been explored a bit better. Much deeper and longer. But that's still alright cause they added pretty good elements towards the end of the series which brought so much life to the whole series.
Screenplay. It gets very very slow paced and boring in the beginning episodes. Till 5. Which is the reason for many people dropping the title. It could have had a better narration.
Overall, I would suggest you to watch this series. This starts off real slow and boring, but trust me and hold on to it. It gets interesting. This series, is infact worth rewatching too, because of it's light hearted story and lesser duration in comparison to many other BLs out there. And to end this all, I enjoyed watching enchanté. I wish I could really meet someone and say enchanté and feel enchanted to meet them, just they way Theo and Akk feel towards eachother.

This was actually really good!
I was at first really hesitant to see the show as the top reviews weren't really great, but then I scrolled down to see some more reviews and thought to give it a try as most of the reviews(except the top 2) were indeed positive! And by god do I not regret it! Seriously, the show was enchanting! Cute, Dorky, Great chemistry, Kisses! Overall really attractive and fun to watch! Surely I wouldn't admit this to be something which would be interesting to binge-watch, but it'd be your loss if you ignore the series! Loved it!Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
I am enchanted by the series. Force & Book are so freaking good.
One of the most matured BL series I have seen.I love the simple yet engaging storyline.
Lead pairs are damn good. Their visuals, their acting, their expressions Oh My God everything is on point. I just love them. Force & Book have done a great job.
Storyline - It is the most subtlest series of this kind. Literally, there romantic scene are so smooth and not cringey at all.
Cinematography- It is captivating to the eyes. It just hold on the people to seeing more.
A great watch !
PS - Dont get yourself fooled by the ratings. Watch some episodes then judge it.

This does have a few roundabout spoil, but not the whole thing. I found this to be a refreshing drama of how Akk and Theo finally expressed there love for each other. For me the actors did an excellent job portraying there characters that you felt there emotions sadness, lonely and love.
I like how the story began when Akk attacked theo thinking he's a robber until there eyes meet and you could feel Akk happiness inside himself.. The idea of theo using the book Enchante` to get akk attention and not realizing he has 4 suitors claiming to be him. With Akk helping, he trys to make theo realize that they all want something from him since his dad is the head of the college. The secret behind the real Enchante is reveled and like me i only got part of it wrong. I understand why theo did it in order to have akk admit his feeling for him which can be seen thru some flash back to their childhood and meeting once Theo came back from France. I felt sorry for Akk a few times with how Theo treated him since theo would get mad at Akk for the same thing. All in all i am happy with how they fixed there relationship

ForceBook Saves the Show!!!
I came here after "Boss and Babe" and I love the dynamics ForceBook has here. Especially Force, who has a very different character in this show, displaying his versatile acting!Their chemistry saves the show! There are moments where I got frustrated by the plot, especially the drama revolving the 4 guys in it, but each time ForceBook kept me going with their chemistry
There are parts where it might look ridiculous and all, but if you stay on, like I did, you'll understand the reasons why everything happen the way it does. It is actually really sweet!
Also, the ending is beautiful, and I love all the little details they put on how ForceBook are expressing their love for each other, in a subtle not subtle way lol
My fav? The fact there is no typical top-bottom, overjealous toxic drama! But, pure love, support and understanding for one another, as a friend and as. a lover.
Don't read what other people say about the show, especially the negative rating. Watch it and rate it for yourself. If you don't like it, simply drop it. But, if you don't give it a shot, you might just miss out a beautiful love story!

this series gave me EVERYTHING
im just gonna jump straight into this review because i have so many feelings about this show and i need to get them outpros:
okay so firstly, the production and overall vibe. it was such a cozy show to watch like the coloring used was so warm and bright and gave me light academia vibes. i was hooked once i realized the entire show was like a love letter to books and education, my favorite things. i also loved that it was a comedy but they didn't rely on weird sound effects or slapstick humor to take away from the plot.
next, im gonna talk about the biggest point of contention with people: the plot. ik a lot of people have opinions on this but mainly what i have to say is the girls who get it, get it, and the ones who don't, don't. i thought it was very well-written, the pacing made sense, and all of the characters had motives for their actions, whether people liked them or not. the magic of this show is that it went against people's expectation that it was going to be a traditional male harem story with theo entertaining these 4 boys and discovering at the end, he loved his best friend all along. instead, what we got was something completely different and BETTER. there's ample mutual pining, tension, the best portrayal of childhood friends to lovers I've ever seen, and fluffiness.
now, the characters! THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS SHOW FOR ME. if you like character-driven shows, this is for you. theo isn't your typical bl protagonist and some people don't like that but i thought it made him really interesting and gave him layers that i feel like a lot of characters in bls don't have. the main plotline is about theo's personal journey to changing his worldview and i love him dearly for it because he makes mistakes, he's dramatic, and most importantly, he's /human/ about it. our other main character is akk, literally the BEST BOY. like legit hes never done anything wrong he's amazing and i LOVED seeing him be loved and wanted.
now let's talk about the chemistry because oh my GOD. not only did forcebook have the friend chemistry down but the romantic chemistry was insane. the 15 years of friendship between forcebook really jumped out and it's not only the easy going friendship they portrayed amazingly but also they nailed the friends to lovers transition SO well. the tension, the pining, and the KISS. i'm not a person who really cares about kisses in dramas but jesus the kiss scenes in this were SO good and hit all the right emotional beats.
cons:
the main con for me is just that i wanted more fluff and talking in the finale but oh well it didnt really take away from the show for me
overall thoughts:
enchante is a comfort series for me and a show i'll rewatch whenever i need some quick serotonin. it's light, fluffy, bright, and just a cute little romcom to pass the time :) this show is my baby and i'll forever appreciate it

I Think It Could Be Good
I just started watching it, and I think it has potential. I really like the two main leads, and think they have great chemistry. Force has great expressions that really make his delivery of the lines impactful, Book's expressions aren't as exaggerated, but I can see the intentions of the character through his acting. I think the chemistry between them is great. Oh and I really love the actresses who play Akk's sisters, they are so funny and adorable.The story line is definitely interesting, but I can't imagine them putting Theo with anyone else but Akk, or else I'll be really upset. I'm interested to see how they will handle the discourse of Akk and Enchante as Theo's potential romantic partners. I think it could be great if they handle this well.
So far I think the show has potential, but I'll have to wait and see if it will be great.
