Make the time to watch it - it's worth it
My only regret with HCCC is that I didn't see it when it was broadcast live. It's healing theme, especially during the pandemic would have been more therapeutic than any medication offered.This show has everything a viewer could want - Terrific cast; Great chemistry between all characters; Well-developed supporting cast characters who blend into the story seamlessly; great visuals; believable story-line, etc...
Our leads really play well off each other and their wariness of their feelings was so realistic and well depicted. She is a handful, and quite the opposite of him, something they both acknowledged. And his issues and baggage did not bring the story down but created the challenges for her to respond to.
I'm sure this theme has been done before, and will be in the future (Welcome to Samdal-ri?) but I can't imagine another show doing it better.
Rewatchable? HELL, YES!

The chemistry between the two lead roles in this romantic comedy show is truly remarkable. Their on-screen connection feels so genuine and effortless, which adds an extra layer of charm and believability to their characters' relationship. The way they play off each other's energy is beautiful.The cinematography is absolutely breathtaking! It seamlessly blends with the narrative, enhancing the storytelling without overpowering it.
Each and every supporting role is fantastic! Whether it's through their playful banter, heartfelt moments, or even their comedic timing, their chemistry shines through in every scene. An absolute must watch!

Hye Ji é uma dentista, aparentemente fútil, mas com grande senso de justiça. Após entrar em conflito com sua chefe e enfrentar dificuldades de se recolocar profissionalmente em Seul, ela decide fazer uma viagem a Gongjin onde enfrenta algumas dificuldades, mas encontra um homem incomum, Doo Shik, que a ajuda a solucionar seu problema momentâneo de dinheiro. Eventualmente ela acaba decidindo abrir um consultório dentário na cidade e com o passar do tempo a relação dela com Doo Shik evolui de antipatia mútua para amor.
Doo Shik, por sua vez, voltou a Gongjin há alguns anos após um trauma e muitas perdas. Por trás de seus mil certificados de faz-tudo e sorriso de covinha, ele esconde muito sofrimento. Mas graças a Hey Ji as coisas vão ficando mais fáceis para ele.
Acompanhar os dois personagens se apaixonando bem como os moradores fofoqueiros e queridos da cidade é muito divertido. Aliás, as histórias dos personagens secundários também são muito interessantes de acompanhar. Você vai se apegando a cada um dos moradores e suas histórias individuais a ponto de se emocionar com eles. Um drama muito charmoso com um trilha sonoro apaixonante. Recomendo.

I loved everything.
The main leads were AWESOME.
ESPECIALLY Kim Seon-how's acting. He done the job perfectly. I felt everything, his character hit me so deep, simply he became one of my all time favorite actors. I will watch everything he's in.
Believe me when I say you will not regret if you chose to watch this drama, it delivers everything from romance to comedy to some darker tones, I don't wanna spoil but believe me it is so satisfying. And the other characters are well developed, at the beginning I didn't like them but through the show I grew to love them. Everything was perfect.

Realmente gostei de como as pessoas foram mostradas, com suas peculiaridades, hábitos e estórias de vida, sem ser algo muito caricato. Outras coisas que gostei foi como trabalharam na personalidade da principal, sua resistência com as pessoas e com tudo de novo, talvez isso faça não gostar tanto dela inicialmente, mas sua mudança apesar de gradativa é bem notável.
Em resumo, ele é ótimo para se ver quando se quer ver algo leve e cotidiano, mas que ao mesmo tempo te faça pensar.

É um dos melhores doramas que já assisti a trilha sonora é a melhor parte desse Dorama por incrível que pareça.a atuação é muito convincente! o casal principal tem muita química e as histórias secundárias ajudam a manter a trama uma certa leveza além de ter muitos ensinamentos em algumas decisões que os personagens principais tomam. Com certeza vale a pena assistir esse é um dos melhores doramas da Coreia muito bem amarrado em 16 episódios com final bem conclusivo. There are some times when I don't want to think alot while watching a drama, thinking about theories, watching dramatic conflict, or the puzzles we have to solve in a drama. This drama is an option for people who are in this phase. Located in a very beautiful place with ocean scenery, this drama really refresh my eyes and the warmth of Hong Dusik. This serial also has moral and life values through the sayings of the elderlies who also take part in the story. Romance and comedy blended so well in this. Considerações finais:Eu amei tanto acompanhar esse drama, a história tão bonita, a forma como ela trouxe a inspiração que foi o filme e trabalhou bem e desenvolveu bem a história foi tão boa, aprofundou os personagens e suas histórias e fez uma verdadeira família de gongjin. Eu amo a cenografia e fotografia, as músicas dos episódios, os atores que trabalharam tão bem em seus personagens. Eu amei tudo, não sei o que vai ser dos meus domingos (não) românticos agora. Gostei muito da forma que trataram de mulheres tão fortes, de choi yu gostar da hwa jeong, da Hye Jin se declarar e decidir também pedir em casamento o Du Sik. E de mesmo com um passado tão pesado, não tratou de uma forma pesada demais sabe? Não sei, o drama continuou com a leveza dele mesmo com todos os acontecimentos tristes, eu me peguei tão feliz e chorando de tristeza em vários momentos e amei compartilhar esses sentimentos assistindo hometown cha cha cha. Foi uma delícia mesmo acompanhar essa história tão linda!

Uma história cheia de um sentimento único e com uma pegada bem leve.Não me decepcionou em nadaaa. A história andou bem, todo o elenco tinha uma grande química.
Um drama que fala de amor, tanto no sentido romântico quanto de família e amigos, além de mostrar os altos e baixos da vida.
Cresci junto com os personagens e terminei o drama com um quentinho no coração.
Amei ver a cumplicidade do casal principal e de todo o povo da vila.
Cada um ali principalmente a Hye Jin teve um desenvolvimento fantástico,um amadurecimento que no começo ela não tinha.Cada personagem tinha uma história pra contar, cada um tinha suas lutas.
A ost é maravilhosa e viciante porque passa uma vibe muito boa.
Hometown cha cha cha é com certeza um dos melhores do ano de 2021. Sentirei saudades de ter um episódio novo todo fim de semana.

Oh Man How Deserving This Hype Is
Some people are soooo bitter about Hometown Cha Cha Cha mann. And then there's me who has only seen 1 episode so far but knows it will be a 9 or a 10, lol. Apparently there's no interesting plot or compelling characters, meh romance, no villain, tooo many episodes so too long (which I absolutely don't agree with).*me talking to my friends about it since they've en it as well and are wondering how I avoided spoilers* I have avoided spoilers for it really well. I only know there's something about a baby/kid and a wedding. Why does this sound like his "scandal" that was fake (JUSTICE FOR THIS PRECIOUS PUPPY).
I am just gonna binge watch some cha cha cha to cure my youth of May depression.

Apparently dramas set in small towns are my shit because I'm like loving the shit out of this and it's like the 3rd or 4th show I've seen that takes in a small village that I'm loving. It's sooo healing.

I'm dying :') our main girl forgetting to unplug her hair curler reminds me of my sister when she still lived at home. I literally have gotten THOUSAND OR MORE texts from her asking me to check if she unplugged her hair straightener :') This is too relatable. I didn't love episode 11 as much as the others since it kind of annoyed me how our girl always hit chief hong when she thought someone almost noticed them being all lovey dovey.

They did not have to do us sooo dirty with the last ep. That was such a rollercoaster. It was soooo emotional, like so emotional. I wasn't expecting to be so emo.
Also looooool 2021 kdramas is apparently all about dem gay female side characters. It's like the third or fourth mainstream drama of this year that had a gay woman as a side character(s) and stated it (I definitely suspected she was not straight). It honestly was one of the most diverse years of kdramas imo.

5. RESEÑA: Hometown Cha Cha Cha
Estoy tan enamorada de los personajes principales, ame tanto la química que tenían y sobre todo como empezó su historia de odio-amor, temo que me costara mucho soltar este kdrama, porque hicieron que cada fin de semana sea especial para mi, me gusto mucho verlo en emisión y sobre todo el ost es tan perfecto jsjs las tomas de los paisajes me dieron tanta paz , extrañare también a los demás personajes del pueblo :( hay muchas de razones por las cuáles ver Hometown ChaChaCha y una de esas es que tiene un final cálido, hermoso, emocionante y feliz, un drama sanador y que lo termine con una sonrisa y satisfecha! Fue un recorrido que disfrute y me emocioné...senti esa hermosa calidez de cada personaje en Gongjin uwu

Comfort Drama
Hometown Cha-cha-cha is the drama that made me fall in love with dramas. It wasn’t the first one I watched but it’s what turned me from someone who had only seen a couple to someone who couldn’t stop watching them. I’ve seen this show twice now and it’s quickly become such a comfort show.HCCC is the perfect rom com. The first episode drew me in immediately, from their meet cute on the beach to the reveal that behind his aloof exterior, he was obsessed with her from the beginning. Many people hate on Hye-jin, but even though she does some cringey things in the beginning, I always liked her. Hye-jin is a woman who comes off as very cold and detached, often saying the wrong thing and offending people. However, she had a great heart and she would go to bat for the people she cared about; she had a strong sense of justice and wasn’t ever willing to compromise her morals. Chief Hong is pretty notorious for being the perfect boyfriend and that is very accurate. The man’s acts of service are legendary and all the clips that would show him spending his time doing little things to make her happy (the shoes!) were some of the best parts of the show. They had amazing chemistry and I wouldn’t necessarily call it enemies to lovers, but I loved their bickering at the beginning.
There is a love triangle but Lee Sang-yi was incredibly charming and formed a great friendship with Chief Hong, so it didn’t take away from the story. The second couple also had a very cute story arc. This show is the blueprint for a small town drama. All the townspeople are kind of kooky but all get developed personalities and I came to love almost all of them. Even though not a ton happens in this show, it never felt boring and part of it is that they devoted time to all of the characters, not just the leads. Other small town dramas never seem to compare to this one because I don’t feel the attachment to the town the way I do in this one.
The first time I watched this, I sobbed my way through the last few episodes with Chief Hong’s backstory. Kim Seon-ho had an amazing performance. It was quite a tone shift for this otherwise very sweet show but they had really built up the mystery of his backstory and it made me need to see what had happened.
HCCC had the perfect ending. It’s one of the things that makes this a great comfort drama. There is almost nothing that I don’t like about this show. I don’t know if it will ever get knocked out of my top 5 dramas. More of these types of shows please!
