It's a TEN from me.
I gave this a straight up 10 across the board because I have zero complaints.The actors were all enjoyable in their roles and the characters were all likeable. The music wasn't overpowering. The build up was paced evenly considering the short length of the show and episodes. The story and dialogue were good, simple, but was executed well and the scenes weren't trying too hard, the scenario wasn't exaggerated and the production value is easy on the eyes. Over all, really very pleasant to watch.
Moreover, the pairing have actors who were comfortable with each other, seemed natural and had good chemistry and the pairing's dynamic was quirky, awkward, playful, teasing and funny, yet healthy (nice for change, these BL series often have very unhealthy dynamics) and it was sweet. I appreciated the simple communication between the pairing and I think a season 2 would be great, but even as it is, it was very enjoyable.

Enojoyable Mindless Watch
Short review:This series is enjoyable if you like heart thumping moments and the feeling of uncertainty in first loves. The enemies to lovers trope is enjoyable, but for me personally I've always been an enemies to friends to lovers person. I found the transition between dislike to romance a bit too jarring for my personal taste. I found that they did not get the chance to master communication and I just can't give a higher rating for a story when I don't think the couple is going to last more than three months max.

Forse il mio interesse è calato nell'ultimo ep e mezzo ma per il resto avevo i brividi ogni volta che i due protagonisti erano insieme: gli attori hanno fatto un ottimo lavoro a riguardo, poi sono così ben approfonditi, anche se incarnano i tipici stereotipi: il nerd introverso dei computer e il figo di turno fa tutto il duro ma...
In verità sono una nuova adepta del mondo bl dei drama quindi le mie opinioni al riguardo sono come lo sguardo di un pulcino al nuovo mondo: mi brillano gli occhi anche per poco XD Ma loro due mi sono piaciuti davvero molto e non è impossibile che un giorno li riguardi. Mi hanno fatto battere il cuore.

What can I say except that I LOVED this?
(English is not my first language so please excuse any mistakes)Where to begin... It was my first ever BL series and damn it was amazing. (I'm writing thing months after so I've watched lots of BL in the mid time and also rewatch it several time)
Acting was on point, it was not cringe (expect maybe the "I'm gonna pat pat you as a reward" but 'll let go this)
The story isn't very original (a university plot, 2 guys forced to work together and who end up to like each other) but it was somehow addictive ! Idk if it's because of the actors, the way it was filmed but after 5th time I watch it I'm still not bored, I still enjoy every minutes, never skip anything (something that I do a lot when I don't like soles scenes) !
I've read the manhua and I must admit that I preferred the drama : it was way softer but we still had amazing kiss scenes and romantic scene at the final episodes. Rye jie ( I think it's her name ?) Is cute and for once portrayed a girl not in an excessive way: she understands that Sangwoo doesn't like her and decide to let it go.
I found this drama just so realistic, so plausible, convincing.
As an artist myself, I really enjoyed that side of the drama, because for once we don't have the same university faculty represented. (Hum... Engineer...hum...)
Also can we talk about the MUSIC. It is AMAZING. the best ost drama I've ever heard and one of the rare one I added to my playlist. It is so good !
I think this drama will stay as one of my favourite for a long time

THIS KOREAN BL DRAMA IS FIRE! The chemistry between the actors is so dang good. You will not regret watching this drama. FROM THE ACTORS, TO ACTING AND FROM THE SETTING, IT'S FIRE. I BADLY WANT A SEASON 2 OF THIS KBL DRAMA. HUHUHUHUHUHUH. The scene that I liked the most is when Seo-Ham smiled and when Seo-Ham patted Jeong-Chan's head. ACKKKKKKK KILIG MUCHHHH. CAN'T WAIT FOR THE LAST 2 EPISODESSSS. Sadly, Seo-Ham will enlist to the military on March 10th (the date when the last episode of semantic error s1 will air) so Semantic error s2 will be possible in 2024 (if there is a s2). Carino e strutturato
Premetto questo è un titolo che mi è capitato sotto mano per caso e che ho visto tramite la newsletter di Viki. Sono stata attratta dalla brevità degli episodi e dalla curiosità di vedere un BL coreano.Ho trovato la trama semplice, ma interessante, anche se la durata degli episodi e della serie erano brevi.
Gli autori sono stati capaci di sviluppare la narrazione in modo da intrigare il pubblico con una storia carina, dolce, ma strutturata, cercando di approfondire tutti i personaggi e non solo i protagonisti. Non si sono neanche tanto persi nelle scene in slow motion che avrebbero appesantito un minutaggio già breve.
Anche per quanto riguarda i personaggi femminili che solitamente nei BL hanno determinate caratteristiche, qui hanno delle belle connotazioni, in parte anche merito al webtoon da cui il drama è stato adattato.
Tra l'altro, per chi non si volesse staccare subito dalla storia, consiglio di leggere il webtoon con il titolo omonimo, che affronta in maniera più esplicita alcuni argomenti che il drama sfiora solamente essendo un pg13.
Ho trovato interessante e convincente anche l'interpretazione dei due protagonisti e di tutto il cast in generali, non posso fare confronti essendo il primo BL coreano che vedo, però mi è sembrato che la main couple avesse una bella chimica.
Mi è piaciuta anche la colonna sonora non troppo soffocante.
Ho messo un voto basso per il rewatch perchè io solitamente non ne faccio e quando li faccio rivedo solo le scene che mi sono piaciute di più.
Concludo dicendo che è una serie che consiglio, forse una ventata di freschezza nel panorama dei BL.

Esse drama é tudo! e ponto final.Já era grande fã da novel e manhwa/webtoon antes do drama e confesso que fiquei bem preocupada quando anunciaram a adaptação. Normalmente, não costumo gostar delas.
Primeiro, Park Seoham (ex-KNK) e Jaechan (DKZ) pra mim, foram a escolha perfeita e improvável. Nunca que iria acreditar que eles pudessem fazer o drama e fiquei apavorada quando anunciaram o cast kkk mas tiro o meu chapéu pros dois. QUIMICA DE MILHOES!! conseguiram me fazer amar os dois de uma forma que ainda não tinha conseguido com nenhum drama coreano.
Houve sim modificações do manhwa pro drama, por obvio, mas nenhum - pelo menos pra mim - trouxe grandes problemas, foram detalhes pontuais e que talvez, até por censura foram tirados, ex: no manhwa o jae tem habito de fumar, isso nem foi assunto no drama.
De resto, visual impecável e atuações muito acima da média para dramas BLs, o roteiro não deixou a desejar em momento algum, muito fluido. A fotografia é divina, de outro mundo! Os cenários e o bom uso deles fizeram toda diferença.
Valido mencionar o pessoal do que interpretou os personagens secundários, todos fora de série, mas todo meu amor pra linda e maravilhosa Song Ji Oh,! Não tem como não simpatizar e amar a personagem.
Semantic Error é um marco, simplesmente. Do inicio ou fim.
Vale muito a pena ver e rever.

Cette série a été un coup de foudre pour moi.La série, comme tous les BL coréens, est courte mais on ne boude pas son plaisir, on ne voit pas le temps passer et je n'ai pas eu l'impression qu tout n'était pas fini au terme des 8 épisodes, c'est peut-être pour ce la qu'elle ne m'a pas parue si courte que cela.
L'alchimie entre notre couple phare est immédiate même si ceux-ci ne s'en rendent pas compte tout de suite.
Alors, oui, on est en terrain connu avec un scénario de type rivalité haine/amour déjà vu mais ce n'est pas forcément mal car, ici, on peut voir que ce scénario est parfaitement maitrisé et il vaut mieux réussir sur des chemins déjà tracés que se planter en faisant de la nouveauté, ou pire, se jeter dans l'aventure sans scénario du tout, c'est la claque assurée.
J'ai pu voir que beaucoup adoraient Park Seo Ham mais ma préférence va à Park Jae Chan en ce qui me concerne. J'ai adoré l'image de petit nerd qu'il renvoie emprisonné dans ses rituels journaliers, il n'ose juste pas vivre au début de la série. Mais à sa confrontation avec le déluré et impétueux Jang Jae Yeong, il prend de lui-même des initiatives, il sort de sa coquille et il le fait tout seul ! Et puis, il faut l'avouer, quand on le voit avec les cheveux mouillés, il est plutôt sexy ^^.
J'ai beaucoup aimé voir la douce évolution de leur relation qui part de ressentiments mutuels pour devenir quelque chose de profond et de magnifique. C'est une romance sans heurts, sans toxicité, dans le respect de l'autre.
J'ai adoré aussi la bande de copains de Jang Jae Yeong, s'il y avait pu avoir plus d'épisodes, j'aurai aimé voir le développement de leur background et plus de scènes entre eux et le couple principal.
La réalisation est très aboutie, les mouvements de caméra et la photographie sont de qualité, ça nous scotche à l'écran dès le début.
Pour finir, je dirais que c'est une série que j'aimerais revoir de temps en temps car elle est si jolie et pleine d'amour que ce serait dommage de s'en priver ^^

An addictive series that makes you crave for more
This is by far 1 of the best BL series Korea has ever made. It's up there along with Where Your Eyes Linger, To My Star and Light On Me. Adapted from an already popular novel, the story certainly came to live with everyone involved. I really want to thank the director, Kim Soo Jung, for her impeccable good eye of all the beautiful angles and cinematography. So many picturesque shots, they were all so exquisitely filmed! Plus the impressive use of light & shadow. She has my respect! With only 19 days, it's by far an amazing feat in my books. You can definitely feel the heart & soul put into producing this series. I want to give a big thank you to Park Seo Ham & Park Jae Chan too, for accepting this role & making me believe in your character. Of course there's no denying the chemistry between our 2 leads. Definitely thanking the casting director for not giving up on Park Seo Ham who initially thought he couldn't make it to film this beautiful series. Indubitably, I wish & pray for a 2nd season too but with Park Seo Ham in the military & being that anything can happen in the entertainment industry especially in 2 years time...my hopes are not high to get a 2nd season what more with the same leads.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
ITS SO SO SO GOOD. Very sweet and romantic
The intro in ep1 was so captivating and satisfying. The editing in the intro and in the actual series is really good, it's really fun. It's one of those that will make scream because you couldn't take it lol (in a good way).The setting and plot is quite typical but even though it was like that, it makes you excited to watch the next episode or atleast anticipate. It has quite a lot of really sweet and romantic scenes, like scenes where they hug eachother instead of kissing, it just shows how much the characters actually love each other that being with each other is enough.
The music is really really good too, something I'd actually listen to on repeat. I've seen a few Korean bl dramas and so far this one is the best in terms of quality production, acting and etc, i think it'll be one of my favorites AND my favorite bl kdrama.
As for a rewatch? Definitely! I just know that it will give me the same excitement watching it again. The editing makes it way more fun. Definitely a must watch <3

I Love this series!!!
It is great, very sweet and great acting. The couple have an interesting dynamic and experience struggles but there is no heartbreak only tension and a bit of annoyance towards the end so it is an easy watch. The drama takes itself seriously and unlike some older shows, you can believe the relationship.The title song is so good! It's really lovely and fits the he theme of the show perfectly. It has a happy ending with a sweet last episode and kiss scenes. The last scene is great!
It's not a lengthy series so you can get through it in a few days.

Good but not great
Let me say this.. Did I like the drama? -yesBut did they ruin the story? - again yes.
Like bro I read the manhua and it was so good so I didn’t necessarily get the reason for changes they made in the drama. Idk was it to make it a bit different or for having way less time per episode to show the detailed story. But whatever the reason might have been I didn’t quite enjoy the changes.
They changed the story in some places and that annoyed the shit outta me. Like they never mentioned Sang-woo's part time job. Like there's basically where the rivalry began. And the story of meeting that girl was changed too. And so many other details were changed. And the time was too short. Like bro give us a full length bl series lol
Now lets come to the good part. The cast and their acting. Chef's kiss. Their chemistry was mind blowing. And both the main leads being idols made it even better like yess Korea is improving so much. These two as main leads was the best decision of whoever chose them lol.
Even though the series had a lot of changes from it's webtoon and the time was too short, it was very bearable and addictive. Like Their chemistry carried the whole show. Give us season 2 already.
