It's just so beautiful, it's incredibly heart-fluttering. The characters, the acting, everything is on point. It's been a long time since I've felt this giddy. Their chemistry is amazing. It's so fun to watch them, and even if I watch it over and over, I won't get tired of it. I'm just really head over heels for these two. With each passing episode, I love them even more. So that's it, this series is just so wonderful, even though this series is ongoing. It's really good!

Amazing story and cast
It not only has amazing story but also nice actors i will highly recommend it to others. So if you want something simple and nice and easy go bl drama then it is for you guys. I liked it very much. It was very difficult for me to face my own gender attraction when I was young.This film beautifully portrays the feelings I had to experience at that time.

Heartwarming relationship, lovable & relatable characters, can't get enough of this
Really love this BL, just what I'm looking for in a BL Drama.The plot might not be the best, and of course there's a lot that can be improved from the actors, but overall I can feel the passion and love that the whole crew put into making this series
It touched me in various scenes, and the emotional struggles that the characters went through was beautifully depicted by the actors and also the crew working behind the scene
Loved the color grading in this series, and there were many beautiful and aesthethic scenes
The chemistry between the main couple is like they were made for each other
If you're looking for heartwarming & cute relationships, with a lot of positive vibe between the main couple, this is just the right drama for you.

Okay what the heck was that last episode?? It was a terrible way to end a drama! I know there's a 2nd season but seriously, the last episode was not IT. They could have chosen other parts of the book for the last ep. Spoiler ahead....

Wang intentionally flunked the exams because he wanted to distance himself from Tian because of his feelings. But they resolved this, comes Wangzai's bday and that's when they confess and got together. If I'm not mistaken that's when they first kissed too (in the novel). After that, the had an exam and Wangzai got back to Class A, JiaHao failed, and that's when the angst started. I think this parts would've been the better option to end the 1st season.
For the cast: I'm okay with their performance, however, Liu Dong Qin does not really look like a high school student. I'm a little flabbergasted why they casted adults to play high school students!
The music: It's great and fitting.
The plot: It's not new. It's actually very common for a coming-of-age slash slice-of-life genre. What I appreciate was the world building. Like I've read stories and watched movies/dramas that show students but don't live like one (they spend most of their time outside than in school which is unrealistic). With this, one, especially in the novel, it really presented the idle yet eventful life of a student. They built Wangzai and Tian's student god images with actions and not merely a description. They actually showed how they study, how much time they spend on it, and whatnots. Typically, authors would just say that their MCs and MLs are studious, geniuses, etc. without showing how they are like that. But in this story, it's the opposite.
I understand why other people find this boring and slow but I appreciate its pace. People got used to fast-paced dramas like in the 3rd ep the lead characters are already in love and whatnots. People forget the MC and ML are still high school student. What could they do beside going to school and studying?
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this and would definitely wait for the 2nd season. A must watch and rewatch!

Bonds in the Series
The story mostly tackles friendship than romances. The only intimate interaction was when they kissed. The rest were only intense moments or more on friendship. Although the main lead, Sheng, shows signs of attachment, he does not realize it and pushes the notion that he only sees him as a brother. Meanwhile, Tian, despite his romantic feelings for Sheng, doesn't make big moves that throw him off as someone who likes Sheng. He does small gestures as someone who admires Sheng but is hardly noticeable. Over time, they grow attached with each other.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Esse bl ainda está em lançamento mas tive que vir aqui e dizer o quão bem feito ele é! Quando eu descobri que o diretor é o mesmo de "Your name engraved herein" tudo fez sentido, confesso que fiquei com medo de vir sofrimento e o final não ser feliz (trauma por causa de yneh) mas pelo andamento esse bl parece ser leve e eles vão ficar juntos no final, no máximo eles vão passar por algumas turbulências mas não acho que isso irá afetar o casal, será apenas da vida pessoal deles em relação a escola, mas não vamos tirar conclusões precipitadas e vamos esperar pelos próximos caps.Tenho altas expectativas pra esse bl e sinto que ele não vai me decepcionar.

one of the best taiwanese bls i have seen
The acting is very good, I enjoyed Liu Dong Qin acting the most. The storyline is not very unique, but it still steers me in very nicely. The cinematography is very beautiful and well done for me. I binged the first three episodes today and i am SOOO excited for the upcoming episodes. I am kinda worried about the timeline when they start their actual relationship. Unoriginal, Don't Even Want To Continue
Okay, this BL has a lot of good reviews, high ratings, in my book that's a big red flag, most high rating shows aren't up to my liking nor standards but regardless I watched the first episode, let me just say it didn't hook me, it's your typical stepbrother story, same old same old with Taiwanese BL's. I mean I got nothing against that but like make it more unique and interesting? It's always the same, enemies to lovers type of thing, a dead parent or divorced parents. I've watched too many BL's like this and most of them are not that good cause they're so repetitive. I did some research too and the story seems to be dull and like a slowburn, nothing wrong with that again but at least give us something later on. But no... apparently it's one of those BL's that end and literally make us crave more while a second season is yet to be confirmed. So, I'm gonna save my time on this one and rate it a 7. I could rate it lower but I know theres quality and potential there. I saw some of the dropped reviews and they looked like they were AI generated, they all had a 10 star even tho it was dropped. Maybe it was a mistake, but regardless I'm trying to be honest, and if anyone is looking for a similar opinion like me after watching the first episode then it'll be easier to find. The most boring bl I've watched this year already starts with that clichéd plot of the fake brothers that nobody can stand anymore, but now comes the worst part: 12 long episodes that have nothing to say, it doesn't seem like gay romance, it's not bromance...what does it seem like? Tedious math lessons, supporting characters that no one cares about, bad acting and a mediocre ending. The director probably had a second season in mind but forgot to make the viewer care about the story and the characters from the first season.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
