The loss of her family and tribe pushes an already vulnerable Sang Jiu into the demon side, where she exacts revenge on Tian Huan. Ming Ye intercedes, knowing she is in the early demonic stages and can still be redeemed. Revenge !

Whilst I enjoyed SJ getting her revenge , I don’t get why she is angry at MY. He tried his best to make things work ! The poor couple !

I agree with the other reviewer that TH’s…

I agree with the other reviewer that TH’s demise was unsatisfactory. I felt that for the amount of pain she inflicted on SJ, MY and others, she could have suffered more…but perhaps that’s just the demonic side of me thinking this…cuz, you know, my hatred for her character also pushed me over the edge, like SJ… lol

Unresolved anger towards the end of TH's character

I read in the comments that this character's ending was more satisfying in the novel. Unsure if it was due to the editing, but her ending/death was not the least bit enough to resolve the viewers hatred.
