This drama evokes some strong feelings in a lot of viewers. They either hate or love it and it's hard to find a middle ground, but part of the anger/hate is tied up in the nearly relentless pain the male lead has experienced. Many project/take on the feelings and sympathize his sad life and plight. To be able to emote each of those character's feelings on screen is absolutely amazing.
