Mob family action drama, with a bit of a who done it and why, excellant script and acting.
I had no real knowledge of this apart from a few clips on Youtube and read a review from Rolling Stone Magazine, before watching this.There are are a lot of action dramas on Netflix at the moment, with big stars and budgets to match but few match the story telling in this, a script that makes you care about the charectors, and a plot which makes sense and for once a reveal which I didn't see coming. I gasped.
If you have watched a lot of movies its interesting to see some themes reused, like the Godfather the old boss controlling and trying to find a way to weed out people who are not loyal, and goad people, into action, to reveal their intent. At the centrea of this are the two ML charectors with a very different upbringing, expectations and outlook on life. One uses charm to get by, and the other to get by, he has to hide what ever weakness he has, and lives is a shell, they are both powerful and powerless in different ways. So their story is a emotional battle, and perhaps Porsche'sgood nature and naivety as to what is going on around him is exploited the most, and he has to readjust his mindset. You fail and end up dead, and to prove your value you have to battle. In a family where every move is plotted , like chess, people who can only react to situations they can not control get hurt, and the 2nd family are just collateral damage, who can also damage others.
There are so many charectors that are memorable, which is where the script and the acting are the strength, the interplay of the other family members and the body guards, I can not think of one drama where the body guards have a personality, and allowed to have there own story, with some telling dialogue, that adds to the plot. It very funny in parts as well, which comes natually in the story telling.
Its well shot and directed, the only scene I found clunky was the opening one, the dialogue was jarring, and it looked like acting.
I am normally bored with sex scenes in dramas, they are usually there to either attract an audience, or just fill five to ten minutes they do not have to provide dialogue for, and hold up the plot, the ones in this actually add to the plot, Pete who is caputured perhaps end up with Stockholm Syndrome, an his need to please his only defence.
If you look at the negatives, I think they were mainly budget driven, the special effects not that good, and you can always tell when there is not enough money for a good OST, they play the most suitable part of Vivaldi's the Four Seasons, the songs pleasent but not that memorable.
You could say the end was tied up too neatly, but there is enough ambiguity that it could unravel. If the victor writes the history, but when does the games end?
So well worth watching, I really enjoyed it, but do not expect some slushy BL romance,

A must watch
U may hear people say its trash bc it involves “adult” scenes but u would catch that same person watching only friends 💀 which is by the way 90% adult scenes and 10% storyline (aye i like the casting of only friends tho dont attack me but i dont like the storyline its fucked up).This show is amazing it has alot of plot twists and you would finish this show in one sitting because it will keep attracting your attention, and dont get me started with the casting everything is just perfect

This is the third drama I have watched and I regret it so much. I can’t watch any other drama without thinking of KinnPorsche. What really pulled me in was the chemistry between the cast. Not only are they talented but they are willing to do everything so the show is good. The writing is also great, the amount of jaw dropping moments is insane. One thing for sure is you will never be bored. The production wraps it all up, from the camera work to the sick action moments it is amazing. Okay so at first I don't really want to write a review about this series but there is this one review I read sayiiiiing.. THAT THE THIRD COUPLE WAS UNNECESSARRY .. wth! I know that kim and porchay are immature when it comes to love but look it only shows that not all couples are meant to end up together by the end of the story, they are the only couple that left us begging for spin off and I don't see any problem with that I know there is no closure however, there is still a connection between them since their brothers are lovers leaving us to continue their story in our imagination. I don't wanna provide any more spoiler just sayin' :)PS: i love jeff (kim) he is btw the one who sang the ost 'why don't you stay' check it out he is also the composer of the other series like BIG DRAGON which is kinda similar to KINNPORSCHE storyline and i love it so you might wanna check it out and also the LOVE AREA. plot isnt anything special but the acting is phenomenal
wow. the acting was insane, if the acting was not up to this standard i would have easily dropped the show.the plot is .. well.. its ok, lots of loopholes and the ending was a bit rushed.. esp the last 2 episodes, HOWEVER, i still enjoyed it purely due to how well the actors portrayed their roles. ESPECIALLY PETE AND VEGAS.. petes character was done so well, the raw emotions was so well done i am in awe at how well his actor did the role, vegas too.
relationship wise, toxic as fuck oh my god.. not a single relationship here was healthy.. chemistry was amazing but idk cuz of how toxic it all was i didnt rlly care much for it i was honestly just watching for the acting haha

My absolute Favorite
First thing i have to say is: its the first time that i REALLY liked the music from a show!! The chemistry between Kinn and porsche was just ommmg!! and also vegas and pete! i absolutely adore them all. Their visuals are 10/10 its crazy. The plot was really amazing, i was excited while watching this series, i hope there will be more soon. This was literally so so good.The acting and the chemistry was 10000000/10
All the actors were great. Mileapo and biblebuild made this show worth it with their outstanding chemistry and great acting.
I also loved the side characters. They were so funny at some points and I actually laughed (I’m telling you, you can’t make me laugh really easily).
The oldest brother of the family also stole the show. Especially on that one episode I died laughing.
To people saying that they were toxic OF COURSE were toxic too ITS A MAFIA SHOW!! Did you expect all the characters to be 100% sane and kind and good?! For me that was realistic. It’s not like they are telling everyone “romantise toxicness”. I’m repeating, it’s a mafia show they are not characters that you should idolize. With that logic it was toxic literally killing people, no sh*t sherlock.
The production, the music, the outstanding acting and scenario made this show to live up its reputation for me.
The only reason I don’t put a 10/10 is because I was annoyed with some repetition of some actions. I can’t comment a lot without spoilers but imagine someone doing a mistake or something not good for him and just doing it over over and over and us getting back to 0 for like the 4th time. At a point I said “you have to be stupid to… again” and “here we go again oh my god”. For that it’s like they wanted to add a little bit of teenage drama.

Despite these issues, the series does have its strengths. It combines action and romance effectively, featuring strong performances and striking cinematography that enhance its intense atmosphere. The exploration of loyalty and power dynamics adds some depth to character development, making it a noteworthy watch despite its flaws.
Overall, I really enjoyed this series, giving it a solid 9/10 for overall enjoyment. However, the last three episodes were extremely disappointing due to a lot of toxic elements and shift in the storyline. On the positive side, it’s packed with action and some unexpected plot twists that really kept me engaged.
When I look at the series as a whole, though, I’d have to rate it a 5/10. While I loved about half of it, the other half was filled with morally questionable moments that really impacted my overall impression and changed the entire tone of the series. So, it’s a mixed bag—there are definitely some compelling stories, but the troubling themes hold it back.

Kinnporsche slaps
Okay. Kinporshe is awesome. I haven't seen a better show. No. I can't believe there are no more episodes left for me to watch. It was a ride on the most dangerous rollercoaster. A masterpiece. Now I understand why everyone recommends to not watch Kinnporsche as your first bl. Your expectations would be set sky high. To be honest, like every other show there were some flaws, but I hella enjoyed watching the show. The music was also reaally good. Actors - perfection. Weakest underworld gang boss gone tooooo kinn ?
actually main family is not strong and they have useless boss.. kin is such a usless boss.. poor bodyguards. kinn says he knows everything from start and blame porch to run away.. hell man if he want she had chance to stop him.. Big died and pete captured and they fu*&%ng not care ?.. and they dont even talk about matters only sex, if they did it all are forgiven.. and look at the last episode wht the hell kinn was doing.. he didnt even satand by to get attacked.. without porche n khun he died long ago..Khun is more love n caring his bodyguards than damn kinn n even khun is off minded he has brain than kin dude 😂 and i must say vegas also talented than kinn..Overall itz ok you can watch it if you want romance. But i prefer romance like tharn type way more feeling than this.. overally praised drama

Had it’s goods a bads but I likes the show overall
Now I did give it a overall rating of 10/10 but that doesn’t really mean it’s perfect. It actually had a really big impact in my brain like it pretty much lives in my head rent free so that’s why it’s a 10.Kinnporsche were a couples a really liked over all .
Vegaspete is my fav and I love it sm I wish they had there own show or at least more screen time. /in the novel tho I haven’t finished it I know and have read many seens that make me like VP better/ so I wish they had more screen time to show what happened and how they feel in love with more detail. And I know it’s not for everyone but it’s a mafia show so idk what your would be expecting.
Kimchay is probably the more normal ship under Taytime. At first I really didn’t like Kim’s character but after talking with someone in the fandoms my pov in him has definitely changed a lot.
Taytime. From what I have heard they were really hyped up but than in the show didn’t get much screen time. I haven’t read part in the novel so I don’t know much about them and there really isn’t much to know about them in the show.
Ik they are a ghost ship but I also really like Macauchay. Ik they never meet in the show but I think their characters would be a good couples.
I would talk about characters but than I would write a whole easy hear.
I really liked the music in this. The horror music when vp were doing it was actually very fitting in my eyes considering the background.
And I like the theme song so much it’s actually one of my fav over all songs.
They did really good with that.
Also Jeff’s “why can’t you stay” is now my fav sad song.
I would definitely rewatch it to understand the plot even better but if I do I would probably only watch the episodes with VP in it since I am not over them.
I think the acting was really good specially of biblebuild.
The casting is all find. But the only one I have a little problem with is Jeff barcode
Don’t get me wrong they fit their characters really well but their age difference makes me uncomfortable considering Barcode was a minor when they filmed this and they are playing as a couple. And don’t start with the uts just acting. I know it’s is. And if you don’t have a problem with it you do you but it’s lokey does make me a little uncomfortable. And people who ship them but not in a romantic way make no sence to me.
