A severely injured Ding Zhi is helped and protected by an old childhood friend, Ye Wen Jun, who is now the Princess Consort-to-be for Prince Qing. Although Dong Jun arrives first to become Master Li’s disciple, he convinces Master Li to also take Ding Zhi as his disciple. Ding Zhi does not arrive, however, opting to stay and recuperate with Wen Jun. Sikong Chang Feng makes plans to reunite with Dong Jun, having learned all the medicines from the King of Medicine.
