"I don't know what you look like, I don't know who you are, but I like you."
I'm someone who loves anything to do with transmigration and body swapping tropes, so when I first saw the mock trailer in GMMTV 2022, I was immediately enamored by this show and added it to my PTW list. I first started watching around the period when EP8 aired, thinking that it had already finished airing, and was ready to binge, only to realise too late that I was wrong. However, the show was just so 'my-type', that I couldn't help but immediately watch all episodes and anticipate the next one every week. Some things I especially loved about Vice Versa were the use of colours, considering Talay's career as a colourist, as well as how the characters were written and their dynamics. With each episode came a new colour, not just for its title, but also for the colour scheme of that episode's scenery and Talay's outfit (his outfits as Tess never failed to slay, honestly). That made Vice Versa all the more visually pleasing and meaningful for me. And with regards to the characters, many of them appealed to me, especially all 4 of the boys in the Friend Credits team. Talay, who's a closed-off but sensitive colourist. Puen, the flirty actor who's lonelier than anyone else. Up, the moodmaker who never fails to make people smile. Aou, serious yet always sweet. It was even better when Kita and Fuse were thrown into the mix, making the six of them all the more powerful as a group who would always be there for one another.
I'd also found myself smiling and even squealing a lot at PuenTalay whenever they had moments on the screen together, and especially alone. And in that sense, I felt that Jimmy and Sea truly brought their characters to life while playing them. You could always really see how much Puen and Talay loved each other, even through their eyes, and I think that's something really powerful especially for JimmySea who are rookie actors. Their chemistry was amazing and I'm really looking forward to their future projects next year!
Music also was an important factor in Vice Versa, especially considering that PuenTalay connected over the songs from their universe in the very beginning of their relationship. I just thought that 'Have I Found' and 'By My Side' were very well used throughout the series, even growing on me even though JimmySea's singing voices aren't... really my favourite (though that goes for a lot of GMMTV OSTs where the actors sing it too). Other than that, I also really loved the use of 'City' by Three Man Down! There can't be a more appropriate song for PuenTalay, and that song always gave me the goosebumps when played in the show.
But then again, there were also many points in the story itself that stood out the wrong way to me. I felt that it lacked proper world building and loses its plot halfway through, although it seems to have found itself back towards the end (which I feel might be a trademark of Jittirain?). What I mean by that is that in the beginning, PuenTalay appear to be finding ways to go back to their own universe, which they do by trying their best to look for their portkey. However, in the middle, it ends up with the two of them simply working on making a successful movie with the rest of the Friend Credits team.
In my opinion, I think the plot would have developed better in the middle had they filled in some plot holes, which would have better answered some questions. Some major ones for me were - how and why the body swap and parallel universe travelling happens, as well as the whole premise of a portkey (it was always pretty vague and didn't exactly match with the way Puen actually got back home).
Vice Versa also lacked in developing the stories of some important side characters, which may have been understandable considering the time constraint had they left out 50% of the product placement (I only forgive the ones for Lays and some of the OK Mama Noodles ones). By the end, I found myself wondering what happened to Pang after the success of Romantic Non-Comedy. Did she find her portkey and go back? We never saw her after that, nor do we see her in PuenTalay's universe, even though she was pretty important to PuenTalay's development as a couple. How Tess and Tun somehow made up in their world was also a little questionable for me, considering how Tess appeared to have been an ass to (not only) Tun for the two years in Talay's body, but I guess I can assume that Talay solving Tess' life issues for him had a part in that.
Overall, I would say that anyone who's debating whether to start the series or not should definitely give it a try despite its flaws, especially if you aren't the kind to nitpick on details. It's a feel-good show with very fluffy moments and a lot of kisses, and I see myself rewatching my favourite scenes, just not Vice Versa in its entirety, often!

What a way to make it through
Vise versa is one Bl series that I'm not going to forget in my life. I have been watching Bl series for over a year but Jimmy and Sea are the first couple I'm shipping. Many people dislike this show for the reasons that I love ? it.1, Vise versa plot: Vise versa is a slowly moving story, sometimes the plot progress at a snail pace, yet in it do I find my comfort! The trailer is misleading and I should inform you that the plot is just about Puen and Talay have this in mind before watching this Bl series. Hardly any exciting event occurs though Ep 6 ending may make you cry. However if you love a Bl series about friendship you will find this Bl series to your liking.
2, The Couple: the main reason I like Vise versa is cause of Jimmy and Sea characterized as Puen and Talay. There's no enemy to lovers situation, there's no stark chemistry between them, there's no kiss until we drop situation, rather there's a subtle but firm chemistry between the two, there's this maturity and understanding that they both exhibit that makes me feel happy, they're not just lovers but also close friends, they're not out to show that they love each other but when they look at each other you can see the love their and at the same time that hesitation when they kiss...that feeling that they are nervous, that they're not sure of what they're despite sleeping in the same bed and using the bathtub the same time. Jimmy's acting actually improved, his Smirk usually makes me to giggle or laugh or smile. Sea is also another good actor who potrays the character of Talay well, he's not sure what is going on between him and Puen till episode 9 but he cares for Puen despite not knowing him. He Goes to look for him at his parents' house, he flirts around with him and treats him like his boyfriend despite not knowing his true name . Jimmy wishing to stay back and not return is very realistic, he has no friends in his world and he just found Talay a true friend who he slowly falls in love with. Another thing that endears me to this series is how Talay and Puen residing in Tess and Tun's bodies took it upon themselves to actually advance their hosts life. Talay improves Tess's grades in school, helps Tess's father and brother in running the company. At first Puen does not to care about Tun's life until he was reprimanded by Talay, Puen will go ahead to achieve Tess's dream of being a Screenwriter. It's not surprising that Tun's parents truly love. Their loyalty to their host bodies is sharply contrasted in ep 5 with a man who returns from their universe and finds his life ruined by the guy who occupys his body. Ibelieve that Puen and Talay showcase the type of love that I did like to have.
I find their friends in the alternate universe true friends, I can see the reason why Talay and Specially Puen doesn't seem interested in returning to their universe. I feel jealous of Tess and Tun , they're always there to help or cheer up the couple. Kits and Fuse are two friends you can rely on they're ready to help Talay achieve his dream. Up and Aou who belongs to the same team with Talay and Puen... Friends'
they credit will make you laugh, they produce the sort of comedic effect that makes you laugh or smile at their childish acts. Jupjaengdied in this series but in all Bl series I have never found a character so open and understanding of others remaining optimistic even in the face of depression, her death shook me cause I wasn't expecting. Phuwadol is another true friend of Talay and Puen always there to support them, I'm sad ? she never got to confess her feelings to Jupjaeng , who I'm sure is her Portkey.
Cinematography: everyone including critics and haters of this Bl series agree on this subject. The colors, the lighting effects, the scenes and Talay's flash dress are all perfect. There's simply nothing to criticize here.
Music ?: I love the intro music it conveys the meaning of this Bl series and it's perfect for vise versa.
In conclusion you will either like this series with passion or hate it with passion, but I belong to the former, Vise versa is among the top ten best BL series I have ever watched.

every bit of time
I have finally finished this banger. I am not checking the grammar for this, lol; it is way too late. It is 3:33 am, and I want to finish our work and somehow wake up at 10 am to go to work. This one is going to be short because of that. Let me average it out, and then yeah. I loved this one. It was hard to wrap my head around—like, really hard to wrap my head around—but it was fun, and I really enjoyed it. It gets 9.09 out of 10 stars from me. I started this one during the school year, and summer is almost over now, so it has been a hot minute.I watched the episodes in random clumps because every time I would watch the show, I would have an identity crisis and just start questioning if I was really real or if life was just one big multiverse shitshow, and every time something happened, everything flopped, and I didn't even know. But anyway. Good on the show for doing that; they explained it really well, and I understood it; I just couldn't wrap my head around it.
I started the show because they dabbed each other up in our skyy intro. Great reason, I know. There were so many familiar faces and so many references that I am glad I got them. GMMTV remembered that they have the rights to so many popular actors and just started randomly drawing them to be in the show. It was random, but it made the show feel more intense for some reason. They would do good and then fall apart. It got repetitive, and they were basically running circles around each other for the whole show. (There was only so much they could do, so I guess this was okay.)
The first few ratings are pretty bad, and I can sort of see where they are coming from, but at the same time, I can't. This was a banger, and I loved it a lot. They had no reason to kill off Joob; I think that was her name. It is crazy how fast people come and go in this world and in real life. A lot of the epidoes were figuring things out with no actual plot, and I respect that because I needed more plot to understand what was actually happening.
This show had me thinking about life so much. "What if we are in some different reality and when we die, it's because someone else died or the opposite? That shit is scaring me now, lol." So that's fun. I said that in episode 7. I was spiraling, and that is why I didn't finish this any sooner.
Then today I was like, I need to finish this banger; it is actually pretty well written and the actors are doing a good job, and that's why I finished today. Then Kepyt got more stuff dropped on us one by one. This was definitely a slow burn because of the circles they were running around each other. Then episode 10 dropped a bomb on me that I was expecting, but it made me feel so physically awful.
Banger. I loved it. I did have an identity crisis at the end, but that's okay. Good acting; the ending and some of the filler content in between could have been better. But it was explained well, and I loved it. Okay bye!

A need in life.
Okay. Vice Verse is.. my favorite one from 22' GMM so far ?Who could have guessed ? As someone who is never up for body swap plots I must say I was hooked for good. The story is so well developed, its sweet, a little sour, filled with good people. There is no blurry concept, no visible rush for the leads to go ahead. The leads. Such a good job done there. The supports. You're gonna miss them once youre done? oh you surely will.( Up Preeda gets a special mention )
It was just so fresh.
It makes you cry it makes you smile it makes you look forward to every little moment. What else do we need ? A must watch if youre up for a good story and some good romance.

Fluff with Supernatural Elements
I loved this series! For the kiddos, there's no SA, there is consent, healthy communication, legal marriage, what is there to hate? The actors because people wanted Ohm and Nanon and got Sea and Jimmy. Then viewers spent the next 12 weeks pining for Ohm and Nanon. My theory is, if Ohm and Nanon starred in this series, people would have gone nuts over it. Rant over.Jimmy and Sea did very well in this series. The acting was very good, and the parallels between the two universes are well done. The beauty of this story is, that Talay and Puen fell in love without even knowing the true face of their beloved. Talay could have been a 300 pound guy with pimples for all Puen knew. He didn't realize until after he loved Talay, that Talay was the person who gave him the bucket hat.
Another great part about this series were the friendships in this series. Even after Tess screwed up Talay's friendships, they still forgave him and moved forward. That's true friendship.
This is a great series if the viewer can not keep wishing for Ohm and Nanon. Jimmy and Sea were excellent in this series, and it's worth watching.

this show made me a hopeless romantic fr
just gonna add my two cents about this show i have a massive soft spot for. i was sooo excited to see jimmy being the lead role, it was actually the reason i watched it at first and i remember the first two episodes or so being like, is this going to be good? but i'm so happy i stuck by its side because it became SUCH a treat to watch weekly. jimmysea's chemistry is so good, they make me melt every single chance they get. plus jimmy is hella attractive ok i gotta say it. overall this show gave me sappy sweet emotional romance realness and i am forever blessed because of it. also!! there were parts that were so healing to me??? not just with the romance but the FRIENDSHIP. oh my god i love the friendships in this show. i ugly cried over them ok i was about to be devastated if the gang was gonna split up. tbh i ugly cried throughout this whole show i am NOT gonna lie i became so invested.i will say that some of the reoccurring issues between the 2 leads made me shake the computer aggressively towards the middle-end because i was like. didn't we go through this already??? but honestly everything was worth it. this whole show speaks volumes about romantic love, friendship love, even familial love, and it made my heart swell with happiness nostalgia pain bittersweetness and sometimes just sweetness. the atmosphere alone throughout the entire series is enough to make me feel so immersed.
anyways love these nerds i want them to be happy forever OKAY

Another great drama from Thailand!
First off, this was a crazy drama series. I love the special cameos of some very famous and well known actors throughout the series, it was refreshing to see and a real treat. Jimmy and Sea did amazing as Puen/Tun and Talay/Tess and the supporting cast were all wonderful as well. Doesn’t surprise me though because this drama series has some of the best Thai actors in my opinion. The plot line was fantastic. Quite interesting and somewhat complex, but definitely held your attention the entire time. This drama was filled with seriousness, sadness, happiness, and very cute moments. Highly recommend watching this drama series if you are hesitant on it. It is one of Thailand’s best BLs of 2022 in my honest opinion. Looking forward to what Jimmy and Sea have in store for us in the future.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
GMMTV never disappoints
What a freaking great show!! I'm so happy that I waited it to finally air and watch it without waiting week to week. Everything is a spot on, storyline, casting, aesthetics.Coloring was done so well it really gaved a feeling that they really travelled to universes. Both of the universe had their own flaws given to it, where Peun and Talay traveled had a lot of neon and ligher colors. Weird differences between universes, like having coton candy cake for birthday parties and waiting for the candels to go off by themselves was just so interesting and episode to episode I was waiting for them to discover more and more differences.
Peun and Talay is my comfort couple! Their chemistry just flaws so well, it makes me want to get into relationship for real lol. No toxicity and unnecessary drama, they just understand what they've been through and make you believe that they are inseparable and bound for life.
I'm giving it full 10 stars despite that I didn't like how well people around them perceived thei changes, I mean two bodies exchanged their minds and thinking and everyone was just okay with that lol.
I could go on and on but I'll just leave it here. Hopefully somebody will read it and will be pushed to watch this damn good series.

ONE OF THE BEST ROMCOM SCIFI BL SERIES EVER
All I can say is that Vice Versa really did rewrote the history of ROMCOM SCIFI in the BL industry. The series talk about parallel universes which tackles different universe in the multitude of multiverse based on a Multiverse Theory. The one think I want to emphasize is that it really carry the show to being the best.Storyline and Plot.
The storyline and the plot are well-written. I am awed on how the story flowed in 12 Episodes. I mean the story of Peun and Talay is so promising that you will loved the show just by watching the first episode. The whole story will give you a roller-coaster ride and explosion of fellings and emotion. Not just the story but also the tiny details of the difference about the two universes, and also the similarities that it has to the other universes. I have read that this show was planned even after the author havent finished the story yet, but I can say that the storyline and the plot was perfectly thought through by the personalities behind it. Kudos!
Characters
The characters are very relatable and loveable. Peun and Talay with their flirty actions and eyes will make you shiver everytime they interact with each other. I always envy how they talk and interact with each other with loving eyes. AHHHHHHHH. The other side characters are so chaotic in a good funny way. I enjoyed the series alot because of them. The characters are very understanding towards each other. You wont see any toxicity in the series itself, as well as the characters. Every problem was solved by them and I admire that concept in a romantic series.
Cameos
OH MY GOD! Its like every episode of the series has cameos from GMMTV Artists and Shows. When the first came from the pilot episode occurred, I just jumped out from my seat because of excitement. HAHAHAHA I was very awed and happy because we get to see other people from other series. Forcebook, Gun, Perth, Tay, Mix and other artists, I was very surprised and I loved that GMMTV did that just to suprise their fans.
I dont really want to make this revew longer. All I can say is that, THIS IS NS OF THE BEST SHOW I HAVE WATCHED! I AM HOPING THAT WE STILL GET TO SEE JIMMYSEA IN A SERIES SOON!

SO SO GOOD!
Alexa, play "dandelions" by Ruth B.HELLO?? WHY is this so good and underhyped?? The plot? The acting? The cameos? The caracthers? The chemistry? THE EMOTIONS??? *chef's kiss*?? and the fact that I saw a little bit of myself represented in Talay's character? Loved it. LOVE.IT!!????
And I don't know why but I was so afraid of watching the last episode... I- IT WAS SO GOOD??? CRYSTAL CLEAR? Are you kidding me fgs??? (as yall can see I'm very emotional right now)
"The sand doesn't go..."
"Do you have any idea how long I waited for you to travel back here? I don't want time to go by without you from now on. I want to stop time right here. I want to stop our universal traveling. Just like the sand in this hourglass."
LISTEN. THIS IS YOUR SIGN. Not from the universe but from me! If you haven't watched Vice Versa GO WATCH IT!

After reading the synopsis and even after watching the first episode, I was a little worried that this was going to be overly complicated and confusing to watch. But it didn't take long to get the gist of what was going on and I'm glad I stuck with it because it was a very good series. It had an interesting and different premise than anything I've seen to date and it kept my attention the entire way through. There was just enough angst to keep the viewer invested and it wasn't the same old tropes of misunderstandings and miscommunication. One of the things that stood out to me was how clever the writing was. There was so much subtle symbolism; from the colors describing moods and the whole hourglass thing. I like when these kinds of hints and tidbits are woven throughout the journey and it shows a great attention to the little details in the storyline.
I would certainly recommend this series as it gave delivered a wide range of feels and thought provoking moments while still keeping to the standard BL formula.
