Both series are BL romantic comedy fluff of a similar type, even though the plot, actors, and everything else are different.
I don't really like either series, but I can see how others might enjoy it. Both feature a somewhat neurotic lead character and a more confident love interest, but rather than being shy about a secret crush, the lead in Wedding Plan is being pursued by the groom-to-be of the wedding he has been hired to plan. The bride-to-be actually encourages the groom to pursue the wedding planner, and in any case, she already has her own girl friend.
It is an odd situation that the already neurotic lead character isn't mentally prepared for (not that most anyone would be). Also the love interest teases the lead by sort of acting like an ass hole. Both stories involve one of the leads having a long-term secret crush on the other lead. This lead is very attentive and knows everything about their love interest. both dramas also feature similarly shameless female villains who don't get the time of day. And both dramas feature a main lead that really needs learn how to court their crush like a normal person (without spoiling too much).

However, if you DID find SCOY funny (are you okay? (i'm just joking lol)), you'll most likely enjoy YYY too. And vice versa.
YYY has slightly more realistic and more developed characters. But it has one major downside. Its terrible way of portraying trans women. I guess it was supposed to be comedic and funny but to me it felt more like whoever wrote these characters was transphobic and was making fun of transgender women. In this aspect SCOY did way better job. There's a really great transgender character in the show and in my opinion she's the best character in this series.

The Sign Special Episode Encore and Secret Crush on You may seem like different stories on the surface, but they share a common link through Billy, the talented actor who brought characters to life in both series. Billy's portrayal of Phaya in The Sign and his role in as Neaung in Secret Crush on You showcase his versatility and ability to convey complex emotions. Both series feature intricate relationships, emotional depth, and a touch of drama, making them similar in tone and atmosphere. If you enjoyed Billy's performance in one series, you'll likely appreciate his work in the other!
