A highly recommended comfort BL
For those who are wondering, this series has a *happy ending* for all four couples.I watched this series because of Earth, but ended up loving every single cast. Here are some reasons why I love and recommend this series to watch:
- Comfort BL. If you are looking for something sweet, simple, and at the same time, well executed plot, then this series is for you. It covers different romantic tropes (enemies to lovers, long time lovers, friends to lovers, and admirer/fan to lovers) without too much angst and too much sweet moments. A perfect balance.
- Equal screen time. Another reason is that this series perfectly executed and mashed the four couples in one series. The main couple is not overshadowed and the secondary to fourth couples are not treated as side stories. There is equal screen time and the flow of the story to one couple to another is very smooth.
- Perfect balance of comedy, romance, and a bit of drama. Earth really improved on his acting that when he bawls in the series, I bawl with him. The comedy is well executed and the progress from enemies to lovers is so damn smooth. Not too fast and not too short.
- No toxic characters. Well, there are two. Tim, who is kind of a bit toxic, and the head counselor, but the rest are not. The main characters' sisters aren't toxic. They are not intrusive and are very supportive. There are no intrusive and over the top BL shippers in this series. The characters can even hold hands freely in the campus. The parents are also supportive and open.
- A good kind of cliché. A lot of reviewers didn't like the cliché tropes in this series. However, I got to say that the clichés in the series is well executed that I did not skip any part because of second hand embarrassment. Also, the story is engaging until the end.
Things I didn't like much in the series:
- The head counselor, but thank God that they didn't make the shipper thing progress the relationship till the end. She is funny though.
All in all, this series is soooo damn underrated. I watched Ai Long Nhai (ep 1-3) before watching this on a whim and I can say that this series is better than that. Also, I love that 'Support' is a prevalent theme in this series. This is a highly recommend series to me!! Watch it on Boyyent youtube!

This show is basically walking into a BL restaurant and ordering...
...an extra LARGE pizza with a thick but LIGHT crust, lots of EXTRA CHEESE and a WHOLE PACK of RAINBOW coloured SKITTLES sprinkled on top and served with a SWEET SYRUPY milkshake to help you easily swallow every mouthful. That is, it should have been awful to make it through 12 whole episodes and yet IT WASN'T.
There is so much gay, and so many gay, and so much cheesiness and so much dorkiness. Really, what a bunch of absolute dorks. They're adorable and stupid and entertaining and extra and amusing, all of them. And there are no trash family members or friends and everyone is NORMAL-ish, even the NPCs.
And there are some one-liners. Like;
'they're screaming so loud, I thought they were being attacked by Zombies'
and
'who would think you're hot, you look funny just standing still'
and
'you're not that smart, using your brain won't help you much'.
Delivered in context, these random lines had me snorting FR.
This show beat its own shortcomings really, I don't even care about the little issues with budget, cut scenes or overacting or when the actors clearly wanted to laugh during a scene, because I was smiling and chuckling and almost laughing in every episode at the overall delivery and vibe of this show.
Have a slice of this pizza. eat the whole pizza guys. I'd recc it.

Pleasant surprise
There isn't a whole lot to say about this show except that it turned out to be a lot better than I was expecting. Lately, I've been getting more and more tired of school-life shows because I feel like once you've seen a couple, you've seen them all. But this show had some good reviews so I tried it out and I was so glad I did.It was very entertaining from start to finish and it even had a taste of after school life which I greatly appreciated. With three main couples, I was afraid that it might be a bit overkill but I found myself invested in each story and was happy to see each situation was very different so it wasn't just the same thing over and over, just with different characters.
Personally, I thought each conflict was executed well and, while they used my least favorite trope of all (claiming "I don't love you" for the benefit of their partner) I can overlook it because it gave me enough other stuff. And, really, it was kinda used effectively here, unlike in other shows where it just creates more unnecessary drama. At least here, it meant Mek goes to Australia where he wouldn't have otherwise. But I like to think they could have had a discussion instead and stayed together, doing the long-distance thing for a couple of years without having to break his heart in the process. But I guess that's BL drama for you.
All in all, it was a great series and I would watch it again for fun.

Definitly worth watching
This is your typical thai bl (school, haters to lovers concept) there is a bit of a diference tho since Lee and Park are already together at the begining of the series (secretly together for 7 years), there is cute scenes jealous scenes and drama of course (cause you know whats a thai bl without those things) but its also a very comedic bl.Mek and Kim: i loved their story (haters to lovers) Mek and Kim meets because of a prank that Mek, Bear and Lee (they have a pranking youtube channel) did that ends up with Kim, Bomb and Park somehow being involved in it so the principle punishes Mek and Kim to act as a bl couple since that would drew attention to school and its activities, they of course at first dont like eachother but the more time they spent together the more they fell for eachother.
Bear and Bomb: their story started a little different since Bomb already had a Crush on Bear since he has been a fan of Thunderous sky channel for a while (though he is anonymous on the channel) he is the only fan that comments about Bear on every video so as a result of that Bear sets out on a mission to find out who he is, once he does find out that the fan is Bomb he falls for him (i honestly think he fell for him a while ago since Bomb was helping bim find the fan he was looking for (Bomb didnt know he was the fan Bear was looking for just like Bear didnt know Bomb was that fan) their love story is just adorable
Lee and Park: their relationship has already started in the first episode (they have been secretly dating for 7 years) there isnt much i can say about their story but i definitly also enjoyed it
Tim and Mai: Mai is Tims bestfriend who has had a crush on him for a while though Tim seems oblivious to his feelings to be honest i think Tim had cought feelings for Mai a long time ago but just didnt realize it until he almost lost Mai to another person, their story will definitly have you feeling bad for Mai since it seems like Tim doesn care about Mai and his feelings at the begining.

Cute, sweet, and so well balanced!
I really enjoyed this series from start to finish! The relationships between the characters were well developed and I felt the cast did a wonderful job portraying the various emotions and conflicts. The story is simple, but well acted and balanced between the sweet, fluffy moments and the ones that make you think, laugh, or cry. I think this is a lovely representation of love at all its stages from initial infatuation, to long term commitment, and everything in between. Please don't overlook this series if you're looking for something that warms your heart.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

I loved this, mostly
This show was really really fun to watch. I laughed quite a bit and I'm glad I took the time to watch it. The plot is fun, the cast is great, and the couples are super cute. I only had a few problems.Story: 9.5
I love enemies to lovers, it's probably one of my top three favorite romance tropes. So this was super nice. Unfortunately, I kind of fell out of love with the main couple about midway through and paused watching. I finished watching it yesterday and I'm glad I did because I love it but the main couple was kind of a rollercoaster of emotions for me. They were fun in the beginning, then Tim is introduced and I was like "oh, um, ok. He's THAT character". Wasn't a huge Tim fan if you can't tell. I liked him more toward the end but he and Mai were my least favorite couple definitely. Got annoyed with their back and forth quite fast, communication is a necessity for them. Speaking of communication, the KimMek breakup could've been avoided. If they'd discussed it like grown-ups instead of Kim being kind of an A-hole, things would've been different. He didn't have to say those really mean things to Mek to get him to go abroad, try having a conversation, please. I beg you. I'm glad they made up though, though I was definitely upset with Kim and kinda wanted Mek to make him work a bit harder to get his forgiveness but I'm also glad they got together quickly. Speaking of forgiveness, Bearrrr, my love, that was so cute. His use of the love actually method to say sorry was really adorable and those two were definitely my favorite. My heart broke for Bomb though, that was the worst part of that whole situation. Loved the apology but I hurt for Bomb when Bear forgot. They were my faves from episode one but I grew to love them more and more with each episode. Now for the last couple, ParkLee. They were cute and very healthy. Park thinking Lee was you knowing (sorry, I've used a lot of spoilers so I'm trying to be more subtle lol) didn't make sense though. And then they did it again but with Lee wondering if Park was doing it. Didn't like it, really annoyed me cause they could've just spoken and it would've saved Park the tears. I swear communication is an issue for nearly everyone at one point. But that aside, I really really loved this show.
Cast/Acting: 10
Love them, they did a great job. All of them were great, as a 2moons2 fan, it was nice to see the guy who plays Kim again and the guy who plays Mek is very handsome. I'm excited to see anything else these actors will pursue
OST: 10
This was stunning. Jeff has an incredible voice and I really like the song. One of the best I've ever heard
Rewatch Value: 9.0
It's really really fun to watch so if you're bored and no bls are piquing your interest, this is definitely one that can be watched again

A BL rom com that leaves a sweet taste
Loved the music from Jeff Satur it really set the scene. This rom/com is an easily digestible story that shows the interaction of 4 couples in a school environment.
Depending on your own preferences will decide which couples you favour. Each have their own story and back story that is lightly touched on in this short (12 episodes) drama.
I think the writers did a very good job of linking the characters and showing some character progression as the young men move from the study world to the business world.
Special mention are the scenes with the parents.
Mek's parents are lovely and accepting and love shipping the BL couple. Kim has a wonderful scene with his caring mom helping him to discuss his struggles with his first work experience.
Even the perfect Tim gained my sympathy when showing his restrained and polite refusal to be coerced by his father into joining the family business.
The romantic scenes are tastefully done without any graphic content. I feel they can be viewed by all the family without causing discomfort if wanting to help 'normalise' the idea of same sex couples. There is plenty of touching, hugging and kissing. The friends and two sisters are very supportive and it was especially lovely to see the long-term couple, Park and Lee getting married the vows were very touching.
Not too perfect; the headmistress is too OTT and borderline bullying/blackmailing could be written out in a swap for more couple time.
It is also satisfying to see the boys remain in touch and supportive whilst chasing their career objectives.
I do think this is one I will rewatch when I need a little taste of sugar.

This is real comfy stuff
We get to know 4 couples with different starting points. And it's interesting to watch them grow, together as couples, individual as persons, wholesome as group of friends. This series is a little jewel, because the drama doesn't hurt, the fluff makes me giggling and we only have to wait for the cute little happy ending. Maybe it's not sophisticated enough, but You get what You waiting for. Simple and cute boys love story.
I am so sad, that this series ended, it was always a highlight of the week. The cherry on the top of cream to soothe from a hard week. I miss it so badly.
And I loved the chemistry. Fluk and Earth (now Din) have shown the same chemistry like in Scent of love, but the real surprise were Daniel and Bew, which play Lee and Park, a secret longlasting couple. Sooooo unbelieveable cute. <3 Hope to see more of them, especially as couple.
It's another comfy series for rainy Sunday afternoons. And absolute rewatchable. I'm addicted to the fluff. Sorry =O)
PS.: The OST by Jeff Satur is just wonderful. His soft voice merges everything together. Love it!

Mid but not in a bad way
I would have rated this show an 8/10 but ParkLee made me give it a 9/10. also we freaking love Jeff Satur’s OST 🫶🏾 now that’s out of the way, i’ll move into the actual review. as my title says, it’s mid af but it wasn’t boring. the things i didn’t like about the show were how overly involved the sisters were in KimMek’s relationship at the beginning, the overused trope at the end of the show (let’s try to be creative please) and that fawking chancellor (oh i despised her). also i’m still not sure if some of parts of the show were satire or not. aside from those gripes , the show was pretty cute. kinda wish parklee had more scenes, I FREAKING LOVE THEM 😭Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
Why I dropped something I gave a decent rating
The show is alright, though the characters are over-the-top at times. So far this is the best BL meta I've seen. But I also dropped it.
Not purposefully.
I just started watching "I Told Sunset About You" before I finished the show, and after finishing the other one, I had no desire to take the time to finish this series. "I Told Sunset" was just worlds better in every way that I couldn't bring myself to finish this series, which I knew was inferior.
I'd rather spend the time looking for another series that gets to me the same way, rather than settling to finish watching an "okay" series for the sake of finishing it.

Just hasn't got it.
It is unfortunate, but I am on episode 8, and I am already done. This is becoming such a bore. Why is Mek so taken aback by Kim's confession? And, as for that, who really cares? Bomb is just not that interesting, although Bear is cute; Lee and Park are just not necessary. And, what is the problem with Tim and Mai (both so cute)? That should have been resolved last episode or the one before. I am sorry I have lost interest, but the story is just not that riveting, and it just keeps dragging on. 12 episodes is just too monumental for this little piece of fluff. It should have ended at 8.So, many unnecessary scenes like the one with Kim sick and Mek taking care of him. They should have just gone through when they finished filming and deleted, deleted, deleted, and deleted. Then it would have been 8 episodes.
Now, don't get me wrong! I am a BIG supporter of BL: Semantic Error, History 3 Trapped, In Your Heart, Old Fashioned Cupcake, Plus & Minus, KinnPorsche, etc. This one just couldn't keep me in my seat. Gotta go!
