Minato Shouji Coin Laundry (2022)

Not really any similarities but in MSCL, Minato is "hiding" his feelings and in Utsukushii Kare, they both hide the fact that they like each other for a pretty long time.
They're both really enjoyable and fun! (if you know how to enjoy a show)

Both are Japanese bls with a high schooler main lead.
(spoiler for both shows) In both shows, one of the main leads confesses in the first episode.
Kamisama no Ekohiiki is a must-watch for all Japanese bl lovers!

The Universe each series live in seems so soft and they both put so much effort to tell a story about how Communication is important for a relationship to work

To me, Perfect Propose is what Minato Shouji Coin Laundry should have been - a compact well laid out story about two people who recognize their need for each other. Both have similar plot lines where one-sided love that turns into something more and arguably deeper when the other realizes the deep connection they have. In both you have a chaser who is infatuated with the other because of the little things that meant something more; they are caring and attentive to that person’s needs and takes a while for the other to recognize and appreciate that - food plays an important aspect in this regard.
