Questo film mi ha fatto rivalutare John Wick che ho sempre ritenuto troppo inverosimile per i miei gusti. Io amo gli sparatutto, me per me, o vai fuori dagli schemi nell'impossibile, o ti devi trattenere nella realtà, non apprezzo le vie di mezzo. Qui invece c'è volutamente un'allusività inutile, un non voler spiegare chiaramente utilizzando visuali oniriche una trama che sarebbe semplicissima. Rendono convoluta una storia veramente lineare e logicamente semplice di vendetta, e non so il perchè sinceramente. Poi la parte che dovrebbe reggere il film è la vendetta è dove lei fa fuori tutti magari con diverse armi .....non con praticamente niente. Voglio dire ha preso un sacco di armi e poi fa fuori tutti solo con una piccola pistola? e per tutti intendo non so quante persone perchè il film glissa molto sui particolari che secondo me andavano invece mostrati, e poi mi usa il lanciafiamme per finire uno solo già mezzo morto??????????? Ma perchè??????? Solo perchè visualmente rende di più? Quindi ciò che conta sono solo le apparenze? Questo è il succo? Che poi, a logica tu per vendicarla vorresti magari smantellare tutta l'operazione o no? Dovresti avercela più col capo dei capi o chis so io. Invece qui indagine zero. Mah, non vale la pena vederlo secondo me ci sono drama di vendetta molto più belli, ma molto molto più belli.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
Top tier neo-noir genre
Straightforward but perfect storyline, the attention to details is extremely precise and its neo-noir styling has one of the highest quality ever seen in Korean movies. Action scenes are quite flashy but still able to maintain high accuracy in combats, great use of gore with optimal amount of shock factor, has some of the most perfect panning for its transition shots, and of course Jeon Jong Seo returns with her top tier acting performance while Kim Ji Hoon is great scene stealer as the antagonist in the film. It's a really enjoyable cinematic experience that deserves to be shown on the big screen but still glad that Netflix has produced it really well this time.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

It wouldn’t have hurt them to add more characters even female and let her have her own set of comrades and not just a teen
The story was flat, no connection to any character no sympathy and super detached
Also extremely misogynist, not only were women the toys and victims of these drug dealers, but if this was a man saving the day, he’d have been feared, praised, respected but they kept calling her crazy btch, satanic btch, not taken seriously, and overreacting??? Dude does anyone ever call a revenge driven male lead as “overreacting”?

And worst of all “spoiler”, near his death bed and he says she was fat? Fat? Really? He murders someone and goes “ah man she was so fat I thought she lied about being a ballerina”, and I mean like what fat? She was a walking twig

Vingança mas o conteúdo é simples
Eu não gostei do filme, apesar do assunto pesado, achei ele simples, não me prendeu tanto sabe? Mas a jongseo foi muito boa no papel, na verdade acho que ela combina com esse tipo de papel, gosto muito.Mas é isso, o elenco é bom num geral mas achei fraco em conteúdo, também não sei se é porque estou acostumada com filmes coreanos que tenham umas 2h pra cima e tem histórias mais longas.
A vingança em si é ótima mas faltou algo pra gente torcer, senti muito ódio obvio mas faltou algo. Assistam Night in paradise, não tem arrependimentos com esse.

fun to watch
I was just in the mood for a movie with a revenge plot. It's nothing remotely interesting realistically. The fight scenes are simply fun to watch. The mc killing a whole army of men doesn't make sense if you think about it though. It didn't feel believable unlike in My Name. Nonetheless, I would rewatch it. Revenge drama. A lot of action, fast storyline, and really brutal. And unpopular I did not like it, in my opinion it get stupidly overhyped. Yes, acting was not bad, in my opinion Kim Ji Hoon was the one who stole the show.It was supposed to be brutal - so it is not a problem. A lot of action also make sense. Maybe fast storyline was just too fast? Cause we could not really get to know characters. And as far as people love Jeon Jong Seo's acting it did not click for me - and maybe that is why I did not like it as much as other, her character felt actually soulless - and it makes sense for revenge but it did not work for me.
